Sequins and Sea Breezes: Weekending

Weekending

10/01/2018

Happy Monday and first day of October babes! This illustration is pretty much me this morning. I had a late night last night so I'm a little more tired than usual this morning so bring on that extra cup of coffee! October is my favorite month out of the year so despite the fact I feel like this year is flying by, I'm super excited it's finally October. I've already been doing some fall things but October is when I really start breaking out all the fun fall activities. Speaking of activities, let's chat about this weekend, shall we?

Friday after work I headed over to Epcot Food & Wine Festival for some bites and beverages. It was my first time going this year but we already have a few other times scheduled so I didn't hit up everything I wanted to eat but so far my favorite has been the Korean BBQ ribs from Flavors From Fire. There are plenty of other places I want to check out so don't be surprised if you get a full blog post on Food & Wine soon.

Saturday I had a friend's wedding to attend in downtown Orlando. During the day I ran some errands and then I meet up with Kerri to get blowouts. It was my first time getting a blowout and it was a fun experience and the salon was super cute but my hair doesn't hold a curl very well so my blowout was pretty much stick straight before the wedding was over. As fun as the experience was, I don't think I'll be spending $40 on another blowout. After the wedding I met up with Kerri for some cocktails and chit chat before calling it a night because we're old ;)

Sunday was a BUSY day. I headed over to Ale House to watch the Bengals game before jumping back over to Disney for a co-worker's retirement party. We walked through Epcot and grabbed a drink before heading over to the party at Caribbean Beach Club. After the retirement party we meet up with some more friends and headed over to Halloween Horror Nights for round 2 of our scarefest.

  10. A very fun weekend! It's definitely not just you having the curls problem. Except, when I curl my hair at home, it will stay for 2-3 days! But when I had my hair curled after a blowout, it only stayed for 2-3 hours... I was so upset after spending all that money!

  11. Your hair looks fab but sucks it didn't last too long! What blow dry bar did you go to? For some reason my hair will hold the curl for 3-4 days even after sleeping on it so the money is worth it but I have super thick hair so that may be the reason. Sounds like a fun weekend all around!
