Ok so it's been a hot minute since I did a fashion post but to be completely honest, with my ankle injured and not being able to wear heels I've been living in shorts/jeans and tees so I really didn't feel like there was anything ground breaking to post. Not to mention, I've been feeling a bit uninspired lately. With all the changes on Instagram and me being so busy day to day it's been hard to find time to take pictures to even post a fashion outfit but this weekend I wore this outfit out and about and I felt cute enough to post it so...here we are!

My obsession with stripes continues with this fun off the shoulder tee. It's super comfy and is such a great way to spice up a casual look. I love it because it's extremely flattering while still being comfy. It's supposed to be a crop top but I bought it in a size bigger because I wanted to be able to tuck it into high waisted shorts and not have to show of my stomach if I didn't want to. Let's be real, this girl likes to eat WAY too much to be wearing something that I can't indulge a little in. Speaking of indulging, I wore this out Saturday to enjoy some ice cream and... beer. Yup, I know it's a weird mix but I can't say no to ice cream. Besides cheese it's my major weakness. Tell me I'm not alone here!

Hey halfway day ya'll! I'm a little nervous that April is going to fly by even faster than the previous months with the way this first week is going but since there's nothing I can do about that I'm just going to embrace it and you know... smile and nod or something like that. Sadly with as fast as these weeks are flying by you'd think that my ankle would be better by now but sadly, nope. 

Real life, taking these pictures was such a pain in the ass. I'm technically not supposed to be wearing heels right now, or wedges, or pretty much anything that has any sort of elevation but some times you just have to do it for the 'gram, right? Wow. Just saying that made me feel old. But seriously, this outfit is so much cuter with wedges so despite the fact I actually couldn't even walk in these, I had to wear them for the pictures. I wore this top and jeans out (with flip flops) for drinks over the weekend and and despite the fact a friend who shall remain nameless said I look like someone auditioning for a telenovela, I LOVE this top. I'm all about the off the shoulder and bell sleeves and it's so lightweight it will definitely be on repeat for spring/summer.

Hello loves!  It's official. Florida is no longer the sunshine state. Actually, let's call it the state that is eventually going to sink and no longer be part of the United States if it doesn't stop raining soon. I swear we've seen the sun for maybe an hour over the past two weeks and this girl is starting to go a little stir-crazy. As a girl who loves the sunshine and being outdoors, this rainy weather has definitely taken a toll on my mood and my outfits. I've learned that dressing comfy when you're chances of getting soaked is way easier than trying to look super cute so I've been living in t-shirt dresses and sneakers.

I've been trying not to let the crappy weather keep me locked up indoors and I've just accepted the fact if I want to be outside I'm going to most likely get wet so I might as well suck it up and dance in the rain. Well luckily this dress is perfect for that! It's lightweight enough that it dries rather quickly but thick enough that you aren't flashing everyone if it gets wet. Plus it looks super cute with my Adidas Superstars and I love any reason to break them out. My 90's kid heart is happy any time I get to wear them and they're super comfy so it's definitely a win/win. So until this rain stops, be prepared to see a lot more t-shirt dresses, sneakers, jean jackets and hats. And do me a favor and do an anti rain dance for me to make this rain stop before my birthday in two weeks because I would REALLY like to be at the beach for it... or maybe paddleboarding. Either way I want to be outside!

Happy Humpday babes! Hope everyone is having a fantastic week so far! I've had a very busy past few weeks so I am looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend this weekend. My fingers are crossed that the weather will be nice and I can get some pool time in because after looking at these pictures from a few weeks ago I feel like Casper! I even had self tanner on and I still feel like I'm slightly blending in with the background on some of these. I know I shouldn't complain since I live in Florida and and probably tanner than most but it is rather funny to me when my nude shoes blend in with my legs ha! 

Ok, now onto the outfit! I have such a love/hate relationship with rompers. They look super cute, they're easy to throw on and look put together and they're great for a casual day adventure or a night out but my biggest issue is they make using the bathroom pretty uncomfortable. I've said this before but there's something incredibly awkward about basically getting completely naked to go pee when you're out in public. Nonetheless, I still can't say no to a cute romper so when I saw this one I knew I was just going to have to put up with the awkwardness of peeing in public and get it. Between the gingham print, the cute little cut out and it has pockets, this is the perfect romper for spring and summer. I wore this out for dinner and drinks at The Breakers in West Palm Beach (side note, if you're going to practically get naked in a public bathroom, The Breakers definitely have the bathroom to be in!) and it ended up getting a bit chilly so I threw an oversized boyfriend cardigan over the top and it was still super cute. Be prepared to see this on major repeat, especially as the days keep getting hotter and I keep getting too lazy to put together a cute outfit to go out in ;)

Happy Wednesday babes! Hope everyone is having a great week so far. I've been trying to get back to the gym this week but it's been rough. With all the travel I've been doing I really got off track and I feel like I'm in a bit of a gym rut. Does anyone have any awesome workouts or suggestions to help me get back on track? Anyway, enough of my gym woes... please tell me Florida is not the only crazy state that skipped right over spring and went into summer? Our high today is supposed to be 97 degrees so I'm already breaking out all the summer outfits. 

I am so happy that off the shoulder tops and dresses are still in style this year because they are perfect for hot summer days. This top is one of my favs because the material is lightweight so it's nice and flowy and it's black. Now, I know what you're thinking. Black is supposed to be hotter, right? While this may be true, at least it hides the sweat marks! Sorry, getting a little too real here. I digress. Be prepared to see these shorts on major repeat. I picked them up during the Shopbop sale and while they were a little more than I'd usually spend on shorts, I absolutely love them and will totally be buying another pair. The cut makes your legs look so long and they don't stretch out or lose their shape while wearing them. Definitely my favorite pair of shorts for the season! Happy humpday babes! We are officially on the downward slope to the weekend and I don't know about you but I am definitely ready! I leave this Sunday for a conference in Las Vegas so I'm excited and not excited at the same time, if that makes sense. It'd be great if I was going for vacation but I know the conference is going to be long days and my sleep schedule is going to be all messed up so I'm already looking forward to next weekend when I'll be back. At least the weather in Vegas will be about what it's been like here in Florida, warm and sunny!
Speaking of warm and sunny, I've been on a major spring/summer clothes kick lately. I've probably been spending WAY more than I should but there have just been so many cute things and so many great sales that I just can't help myself. This top was definitely one of those things that as soon as I saw it, I knew I had to have it. Stripes and bows are definitely two of my favorite things so when I saw this shirt combined them both, sold! It definitely didn't hurt that I scooped this up when it was on sale 40% off, I mean, who can say no to a good bargain? I love that this top looks great with jeans and shorts and it's not too revealing so I can actually get away with wearing it to work. If you haven't already noticed from my Instagram, this shirt is going to be on major repeat this spring and I'm not even the least bit sorry about it! Have you found that one piece for spring that you can't live without?

Happy Friday eve dolls! I don't know about any one else but I am so excited for St. Patrick's Day tomorrow! We don't have anything over the top planned but I love seeing everyone out in green, being cheery. It feels like for one day everyone is a bit more unified. That probably sounds a bit funny/weird considering how commercialized St. Patrick's Day has become but any holiday that encourages people to go out together and have a good time is a good one in my opinion. It also doesn't hurt that it's on a Friday this year so how can it not be great?
Ok, enough about St. Patrick's Day, let's talk about how much I have been LOVING bell sleeves lately. It was one of those trends I wasn't sure I'd get on board with but then I saw someone wearing a cute dress with bell sleeves and my obsession began. I have to admit, as a petite girl, bell sleeves can be hit or miss; sometimes they can swallow me and other times they can look great so it's really something I should try on. This was definitely one of those tops and even after trying it on I still went back and forth about it but you know what, you only live once, right? This is definitely the perfect top for spring since it looks great with both jeans and shorts and it's super flowy and comfortable. For this look I kept it pretty casual with some destroyed denim and a suede choker but I dressed it up a tiny bit with some wedges.
