Happy Wednesday and last day of August! I'm not going to lie, I've been trying REALLY hard lately to make fall happen here. I know we still have a few more weeks of summer (well for us Floridians, it's more like a few more months) but my little taste of cooler weather while I was in Wisconsin has me ready to break out the booties and flannel. With the few storm systems we have out in both the Gulf and the Atlantic right now we've had a breezy past few days so I decided to take advantage of the ever so slightly cooler temps.

It looks flannel but the material is actually pretty lightweight and I love the zippered shoulder detail. It's the perfect top for the transition from summer to fall and you can't beat the price on it. I wore this outfit during out Fantasy Football draft on Saturday and it was nice and comfy without being too hot. This will definitely be a shirt on massive repeat this fall and I'm not sad about it! And I'm not sorry my Starbucks made a complete appearance in this post either. I haven't had the Starbucks Teavana green tea in forever but when I got it over the weekend I refused to put it down until it was gone. I'm already craving it again today. It's probably a good thing that there isn't a Starbucks within 5 miles of my office or I'd probably be there right now!

Happy Monday friends! Another weekend over too soon. At least next weekend is a long one so I'll try not to be too upset about this one being over. Did any one do anything fun this weekend? Mine was a mix of busy and relaxing... kinda. But I barely took any pictures so you know it was a good one! With football starting up again next week, my weekends are going to start getting busier and busier so I'll take one final "calm" one before the storm. Linking up with Biana for our weekend recap! 

Friday night was a come home from work, make dinner and chill kind of night. I made it through the entire first week back from vacation without coffee so by Friday I was ready to veg out on the couch and relax. Oh and go to bed nice and early!

Saturday I woke up and headed down to the UCF campus to stock up on new football attire for the season. I seriously have more black and gold attire than any one single person should own but hey, I love supporting my alma mater. After some shopping I headed home to prep for our annual Fantasy Football Draft. After the draft we headed to the local brewery down the road for some beer and CAH.

Sunday was a shopping and errands kind of day. Nothing overly exciting but I got a lot done and even managed to hit up Starbucks twice in one weekend! A major accomplishment for me since if I get Starbucks once a month it's unusual. 

Sorry for my absence on Friday. I was insanely busy at work and by the time I got home I was beyond exhausted so I didn't even check my email once. Hopefully this week will be a bit calmer but our all company annual meeting is coming up and I'm presenting (by myself) at it so we'll see. Hope everyone has a fantastic week!

Happy Friday sweets! Hope everyone had a fabulous week! I think I'm finally pretty much back into the swing of things from vacation even though I am still definitely missing that Wisconsin weather. Not to mention the food and the beer :) Although I'm pretty sure if I was up there any longer I would have come back at least 5-10 lbs heavier so it's probably a good thing. I have a few things planned this weekend but I definitely plan on relaxing and catching up on my sleep mainly. But until it's weekend time, let's jump into my Friday Favorites with Amanda!

1 // I've been obsessed with lapis lazuli for as long as I can remember, probably mostly because it's my favorite color and it has a hint of sparkle in it. So when I saw Kendra Scott added lapis to their fall collection (as well as a gorgeous granite) I immediately wanted every piece. Obviously that isn't an option so I'd settle for this gorgeous ring. 

2 // These are my new favorite jeans under $100! I love the hint of stretch without them stretching out easily and they're super comfy. The hint of distressed makes them great for dressing up or down too.
3 // I received the Bite Beauty Multisticks from Influenster and at first I wasn't so sure about them but they've definitely grown on me. The Cocoa color is a great eyeshadow color that goes on creamy and doesn't crease and both the Blondie and Macaroon colors are perfect for lips and cheeks! I love that they're lightweight, but still provide a lot of pigmentation and have a great staying power. I put the Cocoa color on at 5:30 am before hopping on my plane last week and it was still going strong when we headed to the football game at 7 pm that night!
4 // At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I am SO ready for fall weather. It usually doesn't get really cold down here in FL so most of the fall/winter I can get away with a heavier cardigan and I am loving this one! The chunky weave, the tassel trim; all perfect!
5 // Speaking of fall (sorry, not sorry) DV does it again with their Target line! These peep toe camel colored booties are the perfect transition booties from summer to fall. Now why can't they have them in my size?!

Woohoo! Humpday is here and that means I can officially start looking forward to the weekend. Ok, let's be real, I was looking forward to the weekend on Monday but at least the end is in sight now. I'm seriously on the struggle bus this week, the week after vacation is always the hardest. No amount of caffeine seems to help. But comfy outfits always make rough days a little more bearable.... right?
This outfit is definitely comfy and one of my favorite to beat the heat we just can't seem to shake down here in Florida. When I left Wisconsin on Sunday it was 55 degrees with a high in the upper 60's so coming back to Orlando to mid 90's was definitely a major shock to my system.I mean, an almost 40 degree temperature swing in just a few hours is enough blow any one's mind. So what's a girl to do when she goes from a high of higher than the low temperature all in one day? Throw on a cute pair of shorts, a comfy tank and suck it up, buttercup! Although I have to admit, I'm definitely missing the cooler, drier temperatures. I think as much as I hate to admit it... I'm ready for fall! Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) I won't be seeing fall weather for several more months so you can find me in shorts and tank tops until then!

Happy Monday! Sorry for my absence the end of last week! I headed out of town on Thursday morning bright and early and just took the weekend to relax and disconnect from the blogging world. I don't get out of town often so it was nice to get out, experience some cooler weather and be away from work and adulting for a few days. In fact, let's jump right in to my weekend recap with Biana!

Like I said, my weekend started out early on Thursday when I headed up to Green Bay for a wedding over the weekend. Once we go into town cheese curds were my first priority. For anyone who knows me, my blood type is actually cheese. Ok, that might be a slight exaggeration but to say I love cheese would be an understatement so of course I had to get some fried cheesy goodness immediately after getting off the plane. After that we headed to the hotel to put our stuff down, get cleaned up and then we headed over to Lambeau Field for a preseason game of the Packers vs. Raiders.

Friday we didn't have much on the agenda so after rolling out of bed we headed out in the rain back to Lambeau Field for the Packers Hall of Fame and a stadium tour. After that we headed to grab an lunch for you guessed it, MORE fried cheesy goodness and checked out a few of the local breweries before heading to the tiny little town where the reception was being held to check in and get cleaned up before rehearsal dinner.

Saturday was wedding day and they say something always goes "unplanned" on your wedding day and this could not have been more true. The ceremony and the reception locations were about 45-50 minutes apart and the bus carrying the entire wedding party broke down on the way. We got SO lucky that we decided to hop off the bus at the last minute but it turned out to be an adventure for the newly weds and once they got to the reception everyone had a blast. I was a bad blogger and barely took any pictures, in fact I actually took my phone back to the room and left it there for most of the night.

Sunday was another bright and early day to get headed home. It was 55 when we left Wisconsin and 97 when we got back to Florida. Talk about a temperature swing!

It was a whirlwind trip and I'm exhausted today but it was definitely nice to get out of Florida for a few days and who can ever complain about a few extra days off? Sorry for the picture overload!

Happy humpday lovelies! Or also known as my Friday :) I haven't had a day off since 4th of July and I haven't taken a day off since Memorial Day so I'm definitely due for a nice long weekend. I'm super excited because I'm headed up north so my fingers are crossed for some cooler weather... which shouldn't be hard to do considering it's still well in the 90's down here. Speaking of warmer temperatures, this romper is so perfect for hot summer day, or in my case, a rainy summer day.

If you saw my post last week on Le Tote you probably got a sneak peek of this romper in my box! I really wasn't sure how I'd like it from the pictures on Le Tote but I actually ended up loving it and probably would have kept it had it not had a tiny hole in the pocket. The romper was a stretchy soft cotton material and I wasn't initially sure about the print even though I love the navy and pink together, but it's actually really fun and flattering on. I wore this outfit out to the movie with Ker to see Suicide Squad and it ended up POURING on us in the middle of these pictures so when I got to the movies I was really happy to have my jean jacket with me. I kept the entire look pretty casual since it was a gloomy day and we were just sitting in a movie theater but the romper was super comfy and was probably the closest thing to pajamas I could be wearing! Happy Monday friends! Another weekend gone too quickly. Although I can't complain too much, I have a 3 day work week before a bit of a mini vacation so it shouldn't be too bad. Still I wouldn't mind one more day to the weekend, but then again, who wouldn't? Let's jump right in to the weekend recap with Biana, shall we?

Friday in general was pretty rough. If you follow me on Snapchat {pamelanicole84} you saw that I woke up around 2:45 am and just couldn't fall back asleep so I went to work on just about 4 hours of sleep. So after work I headed straight home; did not pass go, did not collect $200, made dinner and watched some pre-season football. I also got my NOH8 picture back and was pleasantly surprised with how it turned out!

Saturday we took advantage of our Disney passes being open again so we headed down to Epcot to ride the new Soarin'. We only have about 7 weeks left of our passes so I fully intend to go as often as I can even though it's melt your face off hot out. After some drinks and rides at Epcot we park hopped over to Hollywood Studios and rode a few more rides and watched the Star Wars fireworks.

Sunday morning I woke up bright and early for a boot camp class. Man-oh-man, if you ever want your butt kicked, take a boot camp class. Running while dragging a tire (yes, a tire) 75 yard high knee sprints, and so much more was brutal. All while outside in 90 degree heat. Needless to say, I was pretty spent after that so the rest of the day was spent relaxing and running errands.

Happy Friday dolls! We made it through another week and already already almost at the half way mark for August. How crazy is that? I feel like just yesterday I was saying how surprised I was it was August now it's almost half way over. I guess the saying "time flies when you're having fun" rings true.... or at least it flies when you're busy! As much as I love summer I am definitely ready for some cooler weather. At least weather that doesn't make me sweat the instant I walk outside, right? Switching things up a bit again this week and sharing some of my favorites with Amanda but in a different fashion. 

1 // If you haven't heard Australian singer Grace yet you are truly missing out. Her voice is amazing and she just seems so down to Earth. Even though I heard this song awhile ago, I've been listening to it non stop after seeing Suicide Squad last weekend.

3 // I just finished reading this book and I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a book you can't put down. It had it's slow moments but even through those I kept going wanting to know what happened next. 

4 // A few weeks ago I tried the new Essie Gel Couture collection and I am officially obsessed. For a girl who's nails chip usually on day 2, this is amazing. They claim you get 14 days of wear but I only got around 7. Maybe I'm harder on my nails? I don't know. Either way, I now have the colors Take Me To Thread, Spool Me Over, Pre Show Jitters and Model Clicks.
5 // These are the prettiest champagne bottles I have ever seen and every bottle purchased provides 15 meals to a child in need! As if you needed another reason to buy a bottle of champs, not only are these pretty but you're supporting a great cause!

Happy Wednesday friends! Tell me I'm not the only one who stands in her closet full of clothes and thinks "I have absolutely nothing to wear"? This is such a common occurrence for me it's almost scary. Even though I know I have plenty to choose from, sometimes I just don't want to wear anything I already own and too often I buy something, wear it a few times and then wonder why I even bothered to buy it. So when Le Tote contacted me about trying them out I definitely jumped at the opportunity!

If you haven't heard of Le Tote, they consider themselves the "Netflix of fashion" which is fitting considering their business model. Le Tote is a monthly subscription box that allows it's members to "borrow" designer clothing and accessories for $59/month. Each box includes three articles of clothing and two accessory pieces from a variety of 150 different brands. One of the first things I loved about Le Tote is you set up your profile and then you can either let the stylist pick out things for you or you can customize each box with pieces you select.

Ok, now let's talk about my experience thus far.After signing up and selecting my style profile I was given 48 hours to either accept the pieces they had picked out for me or "shop" for other pieces to replace anything. You can choose to replace one item or all five if you wish and once you've made your selection you can change your mind again within that 48 hours or select "finalize my box" and it will be on it's way! One of the things I was most impressed with about Le Tote was the shipping. From the time I "finalized my box" to the time it was waiting for me on my front porch was only two days, making it perfect for ensuring you have something to wear over the weekend.
I kept my things for about a week but there is no real time limit on how long you can keep things so if you like something but aren't sure right away if you want to buy it you have the opportunity to wear it a few times before sending it back. While I was trying out my box Le Tote sent me an e-mail letting me know one of the items in my box was on sale and to be completely honest, that was the deciding factor on whether I wanted to keep one of the dresses in my first box. The dress fit me perfectly and I loved the print and colors but when I heard I could keep my Sam Edelman dress for only $29, I knew it wasn't going to be returned!


When it was time to send back the remaining items I didn't want to keep, you simply put everything into the pre-labeled bag and put it back in the mail. I was extremely surprised when later that day I got a text from a number I didn't recognize only to find out it was Le Tote texting me to let me know my box was in route back and my next box was preparing to ship out. If I wanted to switch any of the items in my box I had 48 hours to do so so I jumped online and ended swapping out everything they were planning on sending to me and hit "finalize my tote". My new tote was in the mail the next day and at my door 2 days later!

My weekends of freedom are quickly coming to an end but I can't complain, I'm definitely ready to get back to my weekend football rituals. Friday was pretty uneventful, like most Fridays are for me. I headed home after work, made dinner and enjoyed a glass of wine before calling it a night.

Saturday was what might possible be our final boat day of the year so I woke up bright and early to get everything ready before heading to the marina to meet up with Kerri, Kate and the boys. Our normal boat was in for maintenance so we got the pontoon for the day but it ended up working out perfectly. We had plenty of room to move around and lounge and a nice shady area to cool off if we needed not to mention plenty of storage.

Sunday I headed to the gym for a quick early morning workout before meeting up with Kerri for a movie date.We had both been dying to see Suicide Squad so we decided to make an afternoon date of it and check it out! Despite the not so great reviews, we both loved it and I have Halloween dreams of being Harley Quinn. Pretty sure minus the whole crazy villain thing, we would be totally besties in real life.
