So this is the dress I told you guys about on Friday and I have to say, I'm extremely happy with it! After hearing mixed things about SheInside I was definitely hesitant about buying from them but when I saw this dress I just couldn't resist. I placed the order on Monday and by Saturday the dress was at my doorstep! First worry tackled, now on to the "one size fits all" worry. It's definitely shorter on the models than it is on my but I am super short so I pretty much expected that. The dress had two heart shaped rhinestones on the front that I ended up snipping off (seriously, it was Pretty Pretty Princess style) but once I got rid of those I was in love!
I'm sad to say this is my last Key West post... *insert frowny face here*. It's been nice being able to go through these pictures and "relive" my vacation again but it's finally come to an end. These pictures are from my last day in Key West when I went exploring up at Mallory Square super early in the morning. I have to admit, Mallory Square is definitely not nearly as interesting during the day as it is in the evening. But, the view is absolutely gorgeous. I definitely wouldn't complain about living in one of those huge houses that's for sure!
Happy Friday dolls! Yet another week down. How is this year going by so fast? I swear every time I blink it's another month! As excited as I am for football season to start again I'd definitely appreciate time slowing it's roll for me so I can catch my breath! I feel like my vacation was forever ago and I'm definitely already ready for another one. This time last year I was preparing to make a trip back to my hometown and that has definitely made me miss it! Ok enough with the complaining, it's Friday and you know what that means!
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Hollister Co for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
I've mentioned this before, but I have an extremely hard time finding jeans that fit right. I feel like they're always too long or I'm constantly having to pull them up or adjust them. One of the only places I can find jeans that are comfortable and fit great is Hollister Co.
Hollister has a range of fits and styles that make it easy to shop by shape or even mood. If you're feeling more laidback, The Boyfriend cut is easily dressed up or down. Or maybe you're looking for that iconic, always classic pair of dark wash skinny jeans. They also have a wide range of washes from super washed out lights to rich dark rinses, all with hand-done details like authentic fading and whiskering and destruction. They really have a pair of jeans for every mood. My favorites happen to be the Ryan Super Skinny for daily wear and the Alex Jeggings for going out.
Trust me when I say these are by far not my best shots but cut me a little slack. These pictures were taken at about 7:30 am the first full day into my vacation and it was already about 140% humidity and 90 degrees out! And as you can tell from the ground, it had just finished pouring out so my hair was not happy with me and I was way too lazy to do my makeup. Plus when you're just heading to the beach it really doesn't make sense to get all dolled up! But I knew I couldn't go on vacation and not take advantage of the beautiful scenery Key West had to offer so I decided to do a few shoots while I was down there despite the elements.
I found this shirt at Forever 21 and fell in love with the shades of blue in it. I honestly didn't think I'd be able to pull the shirt off but I tried it on any way and actually didn't hate it. It's a very lightweight material which was great for walking around on a hot summer day. I originally paired this top with a pair of white shorts (which honestly looks better) but with the rain white wasn't really a smart idea. I really can't wait to wear this top again with white shorts and maybe a pair of cute wedges to dress it up a bit. I love that the peplum makes it so versatile!

{Sorry for the quality on these, back to the iPhone since taking the nice camera on the boat seemed like a bad idea}
I'm such a crazy morning person, I literally can't sleep in at all so I spent a lot time walking around the island in the mornings before everyone else was up which actually ended up to be a good thing. Most people in Key West sleep in from partying the night before so it was almost like I had the island to myself. Fun fact, there is NO better time to go to the Southernmost Point than before 9 am. I didn't wait even a minute to take this picture but if you go in the afternoon you can end up waiting forever.
Well I'm officially alive and back.... kinda! I'm kinda cheating right now; I'm writing this post in the car (for the second time actually because Blogger decided to not save my last post I wrote) on my way home from Key West since we left a lot later than originally planned! So if I seem tired and a little unlike myself it's because I've been sitting in a car for the past 6 hours and I wasted my fun post on the last one I wrote about an hour and a half ago. But don't worry, I took a ton of pictures with my DSLR and I can't wait to share them and my trip details with you guys as soon as I get a chance to look through them! For now... iPhone photos it is, so sorry for the lack of quality on these dolls!
So for anyone who doesn't know, me and a group of friends take a yearly vacation to Key West for 4th of July weekend. It's an amazing weekend filled with great memories, lots of inside jokes (hence the title of this post), LOTS of food and drinks (my liver is glad this weekend is over) and plenty of fun times! This is a really big deal for us, we start planning in September for next July! Not that there's TOO much planning involved since we stay at the same amazing place every year, but more on that later!
If you've never been to Key West before I highly recommend making a trip sometime! The water isn't quite as pretty as some of the other Keys but it's still such a fun and pretty place. This year we got to go out on a boat our first day which was so much fun until we all started to get really hungry but we were at the mercy of the driver so no food for us... But again, more on that later!
However the boat did result in some fun pictures and amazing memories so I can't complain!
One of the things I love about Key West is the vibe. It has such a laid back, relaxed vibe but still enough excitement to not be boring. Seeing someone out in heels is a rarity (I didn't even bring heels!) and the whole "no shirt, no shoes, no problem" saying couldn't be any more true here. You do a lot of walking so comfort is definitely a must. That's another thing... Can't finish your drink? No problem, just put it in a plastic cup and you're good to go (if you aren't driving of course)! And most bars don't care if you walk in with a drink you bought down the road.
It really is one of those places I feel like you have to visit at least once! If you don't have kids skip Disney World and hit up Key West instead. It's much more adult friendly!
Me and my friend have already started planning next years trip (hey, it's a long drive with not much else to do) and spoiler alert, it involves an extra day next year since none of us were ready to leave yet this year. Be prepared for more Key West posts this week! Actually... Does anyone want to make a trip back! I'm ready to go! ;)
How can you not love this view?!? Key West... You are my happy place!
