Happy Monday babes! Surprised to see me today? I know, I've been neglecting this little space of mine lately but I'm doing my best to get back into the swing of things. And when I get to check out amazing places of course I HAVE to share them with you...even if I do it a few weeks late. *eek, sorry!* As you all know, I'm not the biggest girly girl. I've never gotten a blow out, in fact I rarely even get my hair done but after checking out Blo Blow Dry Bar in downtown Orlando, I am definitely sold. 

Mikaela invited a few of us (including my girl, Kerri) to check out some of the services Blo Blow Dry Bar offers as well as have a fun little girl's night out so obviously I couldn't resist. Right when you walk up you can tell this place is going to be straight up adorable (and a blogger's dream come true). The pink, white and black decor is so dreamy and the fun murals on the wall make for the perfect backdrop for photo ops. 

Blo Blow Dry Bar is your one stop shop to look your best for any occasion. They offer makeup, nails and of course blow outs but one of my favorite things is that you don't have to get just a blow out. My hair tends to not hold a curl so for me going to get my hair done never made sense because I knew it would fall out within an hour of getting it done... if I was lucky. The girl's at Blo Blow Dry Bar showed me the book of fun hairstyle options to choose from and I immediately knew I was interested in getting a braid. As someone who can't braid my own hair (I told you, I'm not girly at all) I was thrilled to know these fabulous ladies could do pretty much any fun braid I wanted.

After getting my hair washed and prepped (with the most amazing smelling products, I must add) I sat down in my chair next to Kerri with a glass of champs in the cutest Corkcicle champagne flutes and watched them go to work! I was so happy with my side Dutch braid and I even ended up rocking it for several days which I never could have done with just a plain blow out.

Hey friends! It's been a hot minute since I shared some of my beauty favorites and I know it's been killing you, right? Right? Just amuse me for a minute. Since I'm still forbidden from wearing heels (yeah, in case you're wondering, it's killing me) and when I tried to sneak some wedges into a post my mom sent me a "wtf are you doing" text (hey mom!) I figured instead of risking it, I'll share some of my spring beauty favs. 

1 // I have to thank Stassi for this one but this airbrush foundations is EVERYTHING. I love how easy it is to apply, the coverage it provides and how long lasting it is. Definite game changer ladies! 

2 // Since I heard some negative things about Mario Badescu I was on the hunt for a new rose water spray and I happened to see this one on social so I thought I'd give it a try. I love using this before and after putting on my makeup or if I'm just going fresh faced for the day and it smells amazing!

3 // You guys know I love my highlighters and I've tried just about a million so it should come as no surprise that I found another. This one is so pretty, comes in multiple colors and lasts all day. It's got such a natural glow and looks amazing in every light!

4 //  I know it comes as no surprise to anyone that I immediately scooped something up that was part of a Be A Mermaid & Make Waves collection but I am definitely in love with this lipgloss. It's vegan and gives a gorgeous mermaid vibe oh and did I mention it's vegan?! Bonus points!

5 // As a Bliss lover, I was so excited to see that they developed a line for Target. From my favorite lip scrub to some amazing masks, they have some amazing products. And this is officially my new favorite facial cleanser. 

Monday again already?! How do the weekends always fly by so fast? I had a fun weekend despite being on crutches and moving a lot slower than I would have liked but I got to hang out outside a ton and that always makes for a good weekend. Especially when the weather is as beautiful as it was. Recently I've made a few fun Amazon purchases that I just had to share with you guys so today is all about my favorite Amazon finds. 

1 // If you haven't seen the ever so popular Cult Gaia bamboo bags, you might be living under a rock. It seems like every other Instagram picture has one and while I think they are super cute, I wasn't about to spend $190 on one so when I found this amazing dupe on Amazon for $40, I figured why not? It's the perfect spring, summer bag and I love the size. 

2 // The Skinny Confidential is one of my favorite blogs and Lauryn has the most amazing skin (among other things) so whenever she recommends something, I jump on it. She drinks these collagen peptides every day and I can honestly say I've noticed a difference since I started as well. I mix it every morning with water and lemon. 

3 // B recommended this primer a few weeks ago so I decided to give it a try with my most recent Amazon Prime order and it is seriously amazing. I have oily skin and this is perfect to help keep my makeup in place all day and keep my skin shine free. 

4 // Years ago I got lasik eye surgery and I've been SO happy with the results. Since I spent a lot of money getting my eyesight perfect, I try to do everything I can to keep it that way so after chatting with Kerri about it, I decided to pick up some blue light filter glasses and they work so great! I never thought I'd actually want to wear glasses again after getting rid of mine but these are cute and help keep my eyes from straining so win/win. 

5 // Have you ever put your face over a pot of boiling water before doing an at home facial to help open up your pores? Yeah, me too, but I feel like that isn't overly safe. So when I saw this facial steamer I decided to give it a try. It works great and combined with my GloPro I feel like I'm getting spa ready skin at home and what's not to love about that?

Happy Monday loves! I hope everyone had a fantastic St. Patrick's Day weekend! I had a blast out with my girl Kerri, as usual. But unfortunately my clumsy self didn't come out of the weekend totally unscathed. I ended up twisting my ankle pretty bad Saturday so as some of you already saw on my Snapchat/Instastories, I'm hobbling around on a swollen and bruised ankle. Luckily it's my left ankle so I'm still able to drive but it's definitely made life interesting! Ok enough talk about what a klutz I am, let's talk about my newest beauty obsession... microneedling.

I'm not going to lie, when I first heard about microneedling I was a little hesitant. There's something about pricking your face with a bunch of tiny needles with a device that looks like it was used to torture someone that makes a girl a bit nervous but after reading a bunch of reviews I decided to give it a try. I spent a lot of time out in the sun without sunscreen when I was younger and I'm extremely expressive with my facial expressions so I was getting to the point where I was either going to bite the bullet and get Botox or figure something else out to help my skin so this was my last resort and I figured, what do I have to lose?

WHAT IS MICRONEEDLING?

Mircroneedling  works from the inside out by triggering skin’s natural healing process and inducing micro-regeneration deep within the skin. By gently damaging the skin, you trigger its natural healing properties which causes the creation of collagen. This allows any serums or moisturizers to reach deeper levels in your skin and it helps your topical skin care products be absorbed by your skin 200 times more effectively.

I use my GloPro 2-3 times a week for no more than 5 minutes at a time. I usually use it only at night since my skin is very sensitive and it tends to make my face a bit red plus I prefer to use it before my nighttime skincare regimen. I usually apply my RetrinAL cream immediately after and then top it with my hydrating night mask. I've only been using it for a little over a month but I've definitely been happy with the results. They say you should use it for 2-3 months before seeing significant results but I have been happier with my skin and I've definitely noticed smaller pores and a glow!

If you're on the fence about getting a GloPRO, you can try out this one for less than $20! The needles are slightly shorter than the ones on the GloPRO and it doesn't include the LED light but it's definitely worth it if you want to try before taking the plunge on a GloPRO.

Happy Monday beauties! I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! Our weather was absolutely glorious here and I took every advantage I could to be outside and enjoy it. But today I'm not talking about my weekend, I'm talking about something I got to do before my weekend started. On Thursday my girl Kerri and I attended the grand opening of the brand new, gorgeous facility, Windermere Dental & Medical Spa and I just had to share our night with you.
 Kerri had been getting her eyebrows microbladed by Maegen, one of the owners of Windermere Dental & Medical Spa, for awhile (she's shared that experience on her blog so if you haven't checked it out, you need to!) so when she told Kerri she was opening a new spa and invited us to the grand opening, we knew we had to check it out. The event happened to coincide with Novie's second chemo treatment so I was extremely rushed to get ready and hesitant about going at all but I had made the commitment to go before Novie got diagnosed and to be honest, a fun girl's night out was definitely needed.

They definitely spared no expense on the decor and asthetic of the building. Every detail was obviously well thought out and despite the facility being both a dental and medical spa, the flow was seamless and everything felt very welcoming. One of the things I love is that not only do they offer a wide range of procedures at the spa but they also sell many products to take home that you can't find just any where. Living in Florida, we have to be extremely careful about taking care of our skin and when I saw that they carried one of my favorite sunscreen brands Colorescience, which is usually available online only, I knew they knew their stuff.

I have yet to participate in any of the procedures that Windermere Dental & Medical Spa offer but when and if I do decide to get anything done, I will definitely be going to Maegan and Dr. Jordan Kennedy. And I promise if and when I do that I will fully share my experience with you all! But for now, enjoy these pictures I took from the event and tell me this place isn't amazing.

Happy Friday friends! I apologize for my absence this week. I had a pretty awful weekend last weekend and just couldn't bring myself to post this week. I actually wrote a post about it while it was still fresh but I'm just not quite ready to hit publish on that yet but a lot of you have already reached out and know what's going on and I appreciate the support and love! Because I didn't want to be completely dark this week I decided to start my weekend off by sharing some of my favorite skincare products. With the seasons changing and the weather getting drier, I definitely have to switch up my skincare routine and I've found some amazing products that help combat the changing seasons.




1 // I stumbled upon Sunday Riley and have since become obsessed. Good Genes is the perfect exfoliator, especially if your skin gets a little flaky in the drier months like mine, and Ceramic Slip does a great job minimizing my pores. Combine them both together and you get an awesome mask as well!
2 // I know this primer is a bit expensive but it's definitely my ride or die. I've tried almost every primer under the sun (thanks Sephora for giving out free samples) and I always come back to this one. It keeps my foundation looking flawless the entire day and gives me a nice healthy glow. I don't use it every day so it lasts me a REALLY long time but every time I do use it, I always get a compliment on how great I look that day.
3 // This has been (and will continue to be) my tried and true but when I found out it wasn't really recommended for people in their 30's (whomp whomp) I got some samples of some other oils and this one has quickly become my favorite. I use it mainly at night before I go to bed and it's amazing how refreshed my skin looks in the morning.
4 // Oh Kiehl's, you always make me so happy. I got this mask as a sample when they opened at Disney Springs and when I noticed my skin getting a little dry the other day I gave it a go again and I am so happy I did. My skin immediately felt hydrated and soft which is great but one of the things I love is how clean my face feels after using it. It really sucks out all the built up oil, dirt and toxins in your skin which also helps if you're prone to breakouts!
5 // I had a bad habit of picking and biting my lips my entire life. Needless to say, when the weather gets drier, they tend to dry out a bit too which then promotes my bad habit. I am a chapstick junkie so during the day it isn't ever a problem but overnight when I first wake up was becoming a bit of a problem. I picked up this mask mainly because of the price and reviews and I can promise you, I will continue to buy it even if the price goes up. My lips have never been smoother or softer and now I want to check out other Laneige products.

Oh Friday, you sexy beast. I could not be happier to see you. I had a pretty busy week at work this week, I got an extra workout in this week and last night we decided to do trivia so I'm feeling especially tired this morning. Only a few more hours to go until the weekend though... I can do it. Right? We're actually supposed to get some sun this weekend so I will definitely be spending as much time as possible outdoors. Speaking of outside... in the summer... today I'm sharing some of my favorite beauty finds for the summer.

1 // Ya'll know how much I LOVE my rose water and my rose hip oil well guess what? That love is continuing with this amazing toner. Definitely a summer (and all year) must have!

2 // I don't use hairspray but I do use a lot of dry shampoo and I spend a lot of time at the pool, at the springs and at the beach during the summer so my hair tends to get a lot of build up and just dry in general. This shampoo is perfect for getting it clean and feeling soft and shiny again.
3 // I tend to gravitate back towards glosses during the summer just as something a little lighter and more natural looking. This gloss is super hydrating, plumping and is a nice neutral color perfect for every day. The best part? It's not sticky so you aren't constantly pulling your hair out of your mouth.

4 //  With it being bikini season I definitely am hitting the gym a little harder and these wipes are a perfect pick me up for after the gym if I plan on going somewhere after and I don't have time to shower. They're also great in the morning to give your skin that extra kick start!

5 //  Like I said above, I'm all about au naturel during the summer, throw on some mascara, some lip gloss and a little highlighter and I'm good to go.  I love this highlighter for a natural glow that doesn't look cakey or glittery and lasts all day even in the crazy Florida heat and humidity.
6 // This perfume has become my new obsession. I try not to wear it every day but I love wearing it on the weekends or when I'm out. It's so light and airy and makes me feel like I'm on vacation (and who doesn't want that?). I get compliments on it ALL the time.

Happy Friday dolls! Hope everyone had a fabulous week. Mine was pretty chill... literally! If you follow me on Instagram or Snapchat you might have already saw that Kerri and I went and froze our little booties off, quite literally, at Chill Cryosauna. I had been interested in cryotherapy for awhile and after doing some reading and investigating about it I decided to give it a try and luckily Kerri was interested too! We actually did our first session about a month ago but I'm a genius and forgot my memory card in my camera so when we did our second I decided to document it and I figured today I'd share my experience (and a little more about cryotherapy) with you for anyone who was interested! 

So let's start with what cryotherapy is. Cryotherapy exposes you to subzero temperatures in an effort to relieve pain and improve health. How cold is subzero? About -200 degrees Fahrenheit to be exact. Now I'm sure you're probably thinking "who in their right mind would want to subject themselves to temperatures that cold?!?", right? Well, I promise you I'm not crazy. I live in Florida so obviously I HATE the cold but I will say, I am obsessed with cryotherapy. It's crazy how energized and revived you feel after just one 3 minute session. Any muscle soreness you had going into the session will either be subsided or completely relieved, it's said to burn more calories than spending an hour running, your sleep is improved, your immune system is boosted and these are just a few of the reported benefits of cryotherapy. Ok, now on to what to expect...when you're expecting. Just kidding! You should not do cryotherapy while you're pregnant or trying to get pregnant. 
Ok, now that I've gotten that PSA out of the way; when you show up for your cryo appointment you fill out some paperwork, confirm your blood pressure is in the acceptable range to participate in cryo and then they take you back to strip. Yup, cryo is done in your birthday suit friends. Well, you do put gloves and socks on but everything else is out there and exposed to the elements which I admit is a bit scary. Once you climb into the chamber you hand the employee your robe and they start the machine and it gets cold. Fast. The girl working the day we were there played music to try to distract us from just how cold it was and to help pass the time faster but no matter what you do, you're going to start trembling from the cold pretty quickly. We rotated 4 different times throughout the 3 minute session which in my opinion helped me from completely freezing and before you know it they're handing you your robe and you're done! One of the craziest things Kerri and I experienced was just how cold our skin stayed after the session. We went out for food and a drinks after and it felt like it took forever to warm back up despite it being in the 80's. If you're on the fence about trying cryo, I'd definitely say to give it a try! I have to admit, it was touch and go at times... ok that might be a slight exaggeration but I did have a ton of meetings this week so there were times where I was ready to just throw in the towel, crawl under my covers and call it a day. I'm definitely a little worried about how next week is going to go. My body is very set in it's ways so being in a state that is three hours behind my normal time zone is probably going to be rough. But enough worrying about next week while this weekend is right around the corner and the spring Sephora VIB sale is happening! 1 // Kerri got me completely hooked on this scent. It's the PERFECT light summer scent that reminds me of being on the beach somewhere. It's definitely a bit on the pricey side so I stocked up with the 15% off discount.
2 //  This is my favorite highlighting set for on the go. I will definitely be taking this with me to Las Vegas next week and it's perfect for keeping with me for touch ups throughout the day or after the gym!
3 // I've posted about this once on my Facebook page already but I am OBSESSED with this mascara. It gives you the look of false lashes without having to sit in a chair for hours while they're applied. It took me a bit to get used to it but now I love it. If you don't believe me, check out this review!
4 // I picked up the new Tarte Rainforest of the Sea collection lipstick in Rum Punch and it's quickly become my favorite daily lipstick. It's the perfect nude for any skintone and the packaging is so pretty!
5 // The weather is getting warmer and that means you're spending more and more time outside in the sun. It's so easy to forget sunscreen, especially if you're not going to the pool or the beach which is why I love this setting powder. It has SPF 45 in it, it's sweat proof, reduces shine and keeps your makeup looking flawless all day and the best part? The brush is included so it's perfect for on the go and you don't have to worry about messes!

Happy Friday lovelies! We made it through another week. I don't know about any one else but this one somehow simultaneously dragged and flew by all in one. Maybe I'm just going slightly crazy, either way I'm happy it's Friday and I can't believe it's the last Friday of March! We've already been getting upper 80's temperatures here so I know summer is going to be a hot one. Hot temperatures mean sweat and we all know sweat and makeup do not go together so today I'm sharing with you some new favorite facial mists to help your makeup stay put in the warmer weather!

I know I'm a little late to the game on facial mists but better late than never, right? I remember a few years ago on our girl's trip to Charleston, it was SO incredibly hot out (who's idea was it to go to Charleston in mid-August?!) and while on a carriage ride, Biana whips out her Evian facial mist, sprays me down and I fell in love instantly. Ever since that moment I've started trying out new facial mists and today I'm sharing a few from Pixi I've been using lately.

The Vitamin Wakeup Mist is perfect to use in the morning after washing your face. It has an orange blossom water base that is blended with citrus fruit extracts, lavender, and arginine which adds hydration, refreshes and wakes up skin and provides a protective layer against all the nasty stuff that builds up on your skin throughout the day. My only complaint with this mist is the sprayer is a bit heavy so it's not quite as "misty" as it could be.

The Hydrating Milky Mist is a good morning or evening mist. It contains a blend of blend of black oat, pro-vitamin A and linoleic acid which gives you an instant surge of hydration and plumpness to your skin. Being completely honest, this is the one I've used the least so I can't say I love or hate it. My skin tends to be oily so anything that "hydrates" I tend to be wary of in fear it will make me more shiny.

The Makeup Fixing Mist has by far been the one I have used the most. This product has a rose water and green tea infused formula comforts, protects and balances skin which extends and refreshes makeup while balancing the skin. Usually I'll spray this on after I've done my makeup. I use 4 sprays focusing on my forehead/t-zone, cheeks and chin and will use throughout the day as needed just to refresh my makeup. Is it as good as the Urban Decay All Nighter? No. But it is literally half the cost and does a good enough job where I'd buy it again. I think if I had less oily skin and lived in an environment that didn't have 300% humidity 90% of the year I could probably get away with the Pixi one all year but I'll probably switch back to my UD one when our humidity jumps. 

Last but not least is the Pixi Glow Mist. I love the Glow Tonic so I was definitely excited to try this out. The Glow Mist contains 13 natural oils, propolis, aloe vera and fruit extracts to hydrate, protect and nourish your skin. Does it feel good on your skin? Sure does. Does it give you a glowing complexion? Ehhh. Honestly (for me) I think this would be better used without makeup to give me a dewy/glowing look but spraying it over my makeup really doesn't do much for me. Not saying you wouldn't have different results but I didn't love it as much as I love the Glow Tonic.

Hello dolls! Hope everyone has had a fabulous week so far! The weekend is officially in sight and I don't know about you but I am definitely ready! By now you've probably heard about or at least seen these Tiffany Blue bears somewhere on social media and if not, it's possible you've been living under a rock. After seeing them pretty much everywhere and seeing almost every female celebrity (I'm looking at you Kardashians, Jenners, Vanessa Hudgens, Emily Ratajkowski and more) talking about these I decided to give them a try.
If you know me, you know that my hair is definitely one of my biggest insecurities. As I've gotten older my hair has gotten much thinner and it's always been fine so it's difficult to curl and keep curled, it splits easily among other things so anything that promises to help those issues I'm willing to give a try. If you haven't heard of SugarBearHair, I'll give you a quick run down before we go into my rundown. SugarBearHair claims to feature 15 natural vitamins (such as A, C, D and E) and minerals including zinc, Biotin and B-12, as well as coconut oil, additives and sugar all of which are supposed to promote hair growth, increased hair shine and reduce hair breakage in a sweet tasting gummy to encourage you to want to take your vitamins. Two things I will note that are missing from SugarBearHair are protein and iron which are both key ingredients in hair growth. The gummy is a pretty Tiffany Blue color (hello my favorite color!) and is in the somewhat shape of a bear. Some of the gummies came out looking like a severely deformed bear but I won't judge them on that. Ok, now that you know the basics let's talk about what happened when I tried SugarBearHair for 30 days.
First I'll note that I'm not a huge fan of gummies. I take gummy vitamins because it's pretty much the easiest way to convince me to take vitamins but given my choice of candy, gummies would be pretty far down on the list. These however were definitely the exception to my rule. I popped my first one and was immediately addicted. They aren't too chewy or soft and they taste like dessert, no joke, they are seriously delicious. After taking my daily allotment of two, I was craving more but I didn't want to mess up my trial so I withheld my craving until the next day. I didn't exactly measure my hair before taking these but I did know about where it was down my back so I had some basis to go off of, even if it wasn't 100% accurate. Right away I noticed that my hair held a curl better (still not perfect) and it lasted longer, but this could also be attributed to the lower humidity we've been having here in Florida lately so I won't say that was definitely from the gummies. After two gummies a day for 30 days I'd say my hair has grown maybe 1/2 an inch, still breaks easily but it is shiner and softer feeling. So all in all, not overly great results and certainly not anything dramatic. In all fairness, maybe you have to use these for more than 30 days to see any major changes but I wouldn't say these are a miracle worker of hair. Would I buy them again? Probably. But it'd probably be more for the taste than anything. I wonder if one of their secret ingredients is crack? I kid. Kind of.
