Happy Friday loves! We made it through another week and what do you know, the last one of February! For all of my up north friends, hopefully that means relief is on it's way for you! Only 21 days until the official first day of spring so hopefully the snow will melt and you guys will start to experience some warmth instead of the artic tundra it has been for you lately! Let's get started on this week's Friday favorites with the new wifey, Amanda, shall we?
Happy Thursday dolls! I'm so happy it's Friday-eve. I was feeling a bit under the weather Tuesday and Wednesday but I'm feeling better today so I am ready for the weekend! So, I'm usually not very big on super low cut things. Mainly because when you have a little something up top low cut things mean wearing a bra usually is a no-go and well, I kinda need that support. But when I saw this dress I absolutely fell in love with it and I knew I was going to have to step outside my comfort zone and get it. Don't get me wrong, it is definitely not something I'd wear to work or out some place fancy, but it is cute for vacations, brunch, and just running around on those warm weekends!
Happy Humpday loves! I have a super busy day today so if I'm MIA that's why! I have a meeting today from 10-11 am then I have to leave by 11:15 am to make it back downtown for a summit at the Amway Center that goes until 6 pm. My job is definitely keeping me busy but I love it so I can't complain! I just don't want you lovely ladies to think I'm ignoring you if I don't reply or comment back right away! I'm not going to lie, with March literally right around the corner (can you believe that?!) I am definitely spring dreaming.
Happy Tuesday dolls! I hate rubbing it in, especially since it's still so cold up north, but I am loving the warmer weather this week! Last week completely threw me for a loop, I am definitely not cold weather prepared, so I'm happy that is over. For now at least. I heard another front is moving through later this week but luckily this one shouldn't be bringing mid 20 degree temperatures. My fingers are crossed that it warms up every where else soon too, I know you ladies are just as sick of winter as I am!

Happy Friday eve lovelies! For those of you who know me you know I have been on the hunt for a good military/utility jacket for probably about a year now. I had a very specific look I wanted and none of the ones I found encompassed everything so I kept passing on every one I found. I have to admit, stopping in every store every time I saw a hint of olive drab and leaving empty handed was starting to get a bit old. I had all but given up on the "dream" to find the perfect military/utility jacket. Until now.
Happy Humpday dolls! I don't usually post too much about my personal life, and I try not to ran too much but today I just can't help it. Last night I had plans to edit some photos and write a nice little blog post but real life got in the way. And since I don't have too many... interesting (?) experiences to share I had to write about this one. Not to mention, I try REALLY hard to understand what people in the service industry go through but sometimes there's just no excuse.
I have what one could only call an unhealthy obsession with brunch. While we're at it we might as well through brinner in there as well. I just love breakfast foods in general. Probably because I don't usually eat a big fancy breakfast so when I do get breakfast foods I like to go all out. Bring on the bacon, the biscuits and gravy, the waffles with powdered sugar and of course maple syrup... yup, I want it all.

Me and my girl Kerri went out on Tuesday... yeah, you read that correctly, Tuesday so I've felt like I've been playing catch up on sleep all week. Happy Friday eve loves! Sorry for my absence yesterday! The meeting went great but I didn't end up getting home until 7pm and I was EXHAUSTED so this girl went to bed early. This whole work thing really gets in the way of your social/blogging live sometimes, huh? I guess I can't complain, my job is pretty awesome and I'm one of those weird people that doesn't do well with being at home all the time so it's definitely not a bad thing for me. As happy/excited as I am for the weekend I am really not excited about our major cool down we're supposed to get today.

I will definitely be staying in this year for Valentine's Day (at least on Saturday) but I decided to put together a fun, romantic little look I'd love to be wearing if I was going out to celebrate!

So if you read my post yesterday you know I went to a wedding over the weekend and saw a little sneak peek of my outfit post for today. When it comes to weddings that I'm attending as a guest I'm super picky about what I'm going to wear. Usually I want to know if the dress code is formal, semi-formal, cocktail, etc. Not to mention the time of day, location and usually what the wedding colors are. Obviously everyone knows the rule about not wearing white to a wedding but I have my own little rule that I like to avoid wearing the same color as the bridal party. I don't want to be mistaken as part of the wedding party and I don't want to wear the same color as them and take away from that special feeling you have being part of the wedding party.

My job has kept me so busy (which is awesome) but definitely cuts into my blogging time...not to mention eating lunch occasionally. So if you post after like 8 am and I haven't bee writing on your blog... that's why! I do most of my commenting on my train commute in so I do all my reading between 6:30 am and 8 am! Of if I happen to wake up a little early... before 5:30 am. Did I mention how much I'm looking forward to the time change so it won't always seem like the middle of the night on my commute in? I'm not usually a big pink person either (it just doesn't look great with my skin tone) but I do love blush! It's such a feminine, chic color... in my opinion! Oh well, I guess that means I get more time to head back to the gym before bikini season! Hopefully it will be warming back up this weekend. Although I have to admit, I feel bad complaining about how cold it is down here when all my up north friends are dealing with massive snow storms! Sorry guys!
Happy Monday loves! Is any one else besides me wishing that the day after the Super Bowl was a National holiday so we could catch up on our sleep? I'm not horribly tired but I would far from complain about getting a little extra rest today. I'm not a huge Katy Perry fan but the floor during Dark Horse was pretty cool!
