Happy last day of November! You'd never know it was almost December here in Florida. We've finally been getting some cooler temperatures but we're still consistently in the upper 70's during the day so nothing I'd consider "fall/winter"weather. We did have some gorgeous weather over the weekend though so I spent as much time as possible enjoying it. With that being said, let's jump into my weekend recap with the lovely Biana but first I want to announce the winner from my 2 year blogiversary giveaway! I guess technically our weekend started on Wednesday last week... I worked in one of our stores on Wednesday so I was exhausted by the time I got off. I walked 5.22 miles in 6 hours just running back and forth in our store so I came home, put on my pajamas, made dinner and had a glass of wine. Nothing exciting but it was nice to just relax after such a crazy day. 

Thursday morning I woke up bright and early at 6 am to begin working on the Thanksgiving feast. I've hosted Thanksgiving before but usually it's just been a casual thing for friends. We decided to smoke the turkey which generally takes longer than cooking it in the oven but it turns out oh so delicious. I totally failed on taking other pictures of the food... or of most anything since I was cooking all day but dinner turned out amazing and all was a success and after eating we decided to enjoy the lovely weather so we played Giant Jenga for a bit.

Friday was time to "deck the halls" with Christmas decor so we put up our tree and Christmas decorations in the morning before heading out to the corn maze with Kerri. This is becoming some what of a tradition for us every year which is fun so I'm ok with it ;) The corn maze seemed more overgrown this year than last year but we still manged to find our way out of every exit in less than an hour.

After the corn maze we headed to Chili's and sat at "our" table for dinner before heading over to St. Andrew's Pub for some darts. Lady Luck wasn't on our side this year as Kerri and I only won one game against the boys but we only lost by one every time so at least we were in it. 

Saturday (wow, I can't believe it's only Saturday... I feel like I've been writing forever!) I woke up and did some blogging before heading over to Cocoa Beach to meet up with some friends from out of town. We spent the day enjoying the warm weather at the beach before heading home for dinner and more fun with Kerri at a cute little local spot called Guest House.

Sunday was for relaxing. It was a long (but amazing) weekend so it was nice to unwind a bit Sunday and just lay around watching football. I didn't do a bit of Black Friday shopping or Christmas shopping in general this weekend but I probably should start on that soon! Did any one get any awesome deals this weekend?

A. Autumn. Fall happens to be my favorite season and even though we don't get much of a fall down here I'm thankful for the time I spent living up north and experiencing the crisp cool air and the leaves changing.

Happy Tuesday dolls! Can you believe Thanksgiving is two days away? I don't know about you but I'm ready dig into all of the amazing food and eat myself into a food coma! Lucky for me this is the perfect outfit to do it in! I always try to dress comfortable on Thanksgiving and Christmas but still look good. This plaid batwing cardigan from SheIn is perfect for the holidays; it's festive, warm and comfortable.
I've been living in this cardigan since I got it. It's so cute and goes with so many things and I love that the print resembles the Burberry plaid. For this look I went with my faux leather leggings which are incredibly comfortable and perfect for  eating and lounging around paired with an oversized tee. It's the perfect mix of casual yet classy. I topped off my look with my favorite Dolce Vita knee high boots. I've been waiting for months to break these boots out so when the temperature dipped below 65 this week I jumped on the opportunity to wear them! I kept my makeup and my jewelry simple with a bold red lip (you can never go wrong!), winged eyeliner and very simple pieces.
This is exactly what I'll be wearing for Thanksgiving, minus the boots. Let's be real, I'll be at home cooking all day so I'll be barefoot ;)

Happy Monday friends! I'm not too upset about it already being Monday since we have a short week this week. I'm actually only in the office Monday and Tuesday this week and then Wednesday we help out in a store and then I'm off Thursday and Friday. I'm hosting this year so I'm sure I'll be frantically running out to get things I've forgotten or randomly think I need up until Wednesday but come Thursday I'm planning on just being relaxed and letting whatever happens, happen. I mean, there has to be a pizza place open if it all falls apart, right? Ok, enough of that. It's time to link up with the beautiful Biana for my weekend recap!

Friday I ran out to one of our stores after work to get a few pictures of a scotch tasting going on near my house. I also picked up a bottle of vouvrey while I was there... I mean, why not? Right? Then I headed home, made dinner and caught up on my shows I missed during the week. It was a pretty low key Friday night but after the two events I had after work this week I wasn't upset about it. 

Saturday morning I woke up and got some blog pictures done. Look at me being all proactive and getting things done early. Aren't you proud? After pictures we headed out for a late brunch at Hash House A Go Go. If you've never been there before, I highly recommend it! We split the chicken and waffles (and took home leftovers) and I got the Champagne Supernova which was so delicious. After brunch we ran over to the outlets (Kate Spade had the cutest display) before heading home so I could get some deep cleaning done.

Sunday we headed out to a local taproom called Celery City for some football and mimosas. This place is so cute and they also have McKenzie's Black Cherry on tap so that makes me happy! Sadly my Bengals lost again. I don't know what the deal is but they need to get themselves figured out and fast!

Ad by them I mean me :) I cannot believe that today is my two year blogiversary! If anyone would have told me how much I would have learned, the friendships I have made and how much fun I have through blogging I probably would have started years ago! I am so lucky to have such great readers and to have built so many amazing friendships through my blog. It's so crazy to think that you guys wouldn't be in my life if it wasn't for this tiny little space of mine so I just wanted to say thank you for that and thank you for continuing to stop by my blog and say hi! I thought about getting all dressed up and wearing something fun for my blogiversary but then I realized, why not look like I look every day?

To be honest, I'm much more of a jeans and tee shirt kind of girl. Don't get me wrong, I love dressing up and I dress up for work Monday-Thursday but when I get home from work if I don't throw on yoga pants and a tank top because I'm trying to be "presentable", I throw on jeans and a tee. If you were to see me walking down the street on any given day this is most likely exactly how you'd see me. You'll have to excuse the lighting, I took these after work and the sun had already started to go down so I worked with what I had!

When deciding what kind of giveaway I wanted to do on my blog I went back and forth between a prize and a gift card but since it's the giving season I went with a Nordstrom gift card because they give 1% of all gift card sales to local non-profit organizations. 

Happy Tuesday loves! Ok, so it's not quite sweater weather here but it did cool off over the weekend, enough for me to break out my jeans and sweater dresses for work! Any time it dips down into the mid to low 60's I take full advantage because I never know when it's going to happen again. Since I leave for work at 6:30 in the morning I usually get a pretty good taste of the crisp fall air before it gets heated up by the sun so it's easy to be able to break out the sweater dresses and not get too hot waiting for the train. 

I love how lightweight this sweater dress is which not only makes it perfect for fall in Florida but it also makes it perfect for layering on even cooler days. The cowl neck is one of my favorite necklines, especially for fall since it shows off a bit of skin without being too much and it also keeps you warm. I also love that it dresses up a sweater without making it too dressy for a casual day. I paired the dress with my new favorite booties (not even kidding, I wear these almost every day with dresses!) and some minimal jewelry. I try to keep things casual with my jewelry at work since I never know when I'm going to have to pitch in and help move a box or set up an event. I topped off my look with my favorite "blogger" hat. Of course I didn't wear the hat to work but when you've been working all day and your hair looks awful you'll take anything you can get to make it look presentable! Plus, what's an outfit post without a hat, right?! Hope everyone has a fabulous day!

Happy Monday. I was going to do my normal Weekending link up post with my blogger bestie, Biana, but after the events that happened on Friday it just didn't feel right to me. What happened it Paris left me heartbroken. Heartbroken for the victims, the families of the victims, the city and for society in general.It is absolutely horrific to think that someone could do this. That for no reason they could just take the lives of so many innocent people. It was not just an attack on Paris but an attack on humanity. My heart is so heavy with the thought of how many people lost a loved one and will never to see them, hug them or even hear their voice again. While my heart bleeds for Paris, we all stand with them.
