Getting Into the Holiday Spirit
11/04/2015
I seriously can't believe that Christmas is less than 2 months away. Where did this year go? Honestly I feel like I say that every year but every year the time seems to slip away from me and the holidays are here before I know it. It's also hard to believe it's November when it's still 90 degrees outside, humid and easily feeling like summer. But since the holidays really are right around the corner whether Florida wants to show it or not, I've decided I want some new things to decorate with and since I'm hosting Thanksgiving at my house this year I've been looking into some hosting items as well. Here are a few of my favorite items to get you into the holiday spirit and best part? Everything is under $50!
1 // This adorable reindeer pillow has just the right amount of sparkle and is subtly Christmas enough to have out for all of November and December without looking too Christmas-y.
2 // When hosting a dinner party you need cute placemats and these "Thankful" placemats are perfect!I love the touch of gold and they're great for the entire holiday season.
3 // These festive coasters would be a great addition to a bar cart for the holidays as well as perfect for hosting get togethers during the holiday season!
4 // Gold flatware is such a fun way to glam up your dining room table. I love that you can use it to decorate your table even when you aren't using it to host a dinner party!

5 // A faux fur throw is the perfect way to make a basket or a couch look chic and glam. Not to mention they're super soft and great for cuddling on the couch with.
6 // These little appetizer plates are perfect for a holiday party. Just the perfect size for a wine and cheese party or finger foods!
7 // This glam metallic antler is going to take the place of my spiked pumpkin I had decorating my bookcase during October! It's such a fun piece and is cute enough to keep out for more than just the holidays!
Do you go all out with the holiday decor or do you try to keep it minimal with subtle hints of holiday spirit?

ReplyDeleteIm with you--the gold flatware is SO pretty! We have fancy dishes that have light gold leaf looking patterns on them (which we used for Thanksgiving last year), and that gold flatware would look like perfection next to it!

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely dying over these! The antler, coasters, gold flatware & pillow are must for my house! Also, you're hosting thanksgiving?! Get it girl!!!! I did that last year and quickly decided that it wasn't happening with that many people again so I'm scaling down this year haha that's horrible, I know.

These are the cutest finds!! We are doing thanksgiving at home this year... Our first year ever! I'm pretty sure I'm just going to have it catered... Ha ha!
