One of my friends who was living in London for the past year FINALLY came home this month but she came home with an extra little person she didn't leave with. So in honor of her and her husband coming home with their amazing little boy they had a welcome home/baby shower. Of course I couldn't miss a chance to meet the little guy and of course catch up with my now well traveled former co-worker over mimosas (the best part about having a baby shower AFTER you had the baby). For the event I decided to wear a navy blue wrap dress from Lulu's that is surprisingly comfy and cute.
Some advice for wearing a wrap dress, check the weather first. If it's supposed to be windy you might want to rethink it, taking pictures without it blowing up or in between my legs was quite the challenge on this blustery day.
I decided to pair the dress with some gold accents and red wedges (to match my red lips, of course!) to dress it up a tad but not too much. You don't want to take attention away from guest(s) of honor! It was definitely the perfect choice for a welcome home/baby shower luncheon and I had a great time catching up with friends!
