Happy Humpday loves! It's all downhill from here... does any one else get the New Found Glory song stuck in their head after saying that? No, just me? Ok cool. I don't know why but I have been so tired this week, it's been a struggle to get up every morning so I am definitely ready for the weekend (although with my luck I'll be wide awake at like 6 am on the weekend). Lately I've been layering clothing like a homeless person. It will be in the upper 30's when I leave for work, then in the mid 60's while I'm at work and back down in the upper 40's or low 50's when I leave work so Ive been trying to dress for the crazy temperature swings. Oh and did I mention that we've been having crazy winds on top of the weird temperatures? So there's that too!
Ok, so it's not quite 50 Shades of Gray (is any one going to see that when it comes out February 14th??) but I did decide to go a bit monochrome with this outfit. I love faux leather so when I saw this 3/4 length faux leather sleeve sweater from H&M I immediately loved it. It's a lightweight sweater so it definitely isn't the best for those super chilly days but it's perfect for the Florida "winters" and a spring or fall day up north. I decided to continue with the faux leather look by pairing the sweater with my favorite faux fur leggings and a black and white aztec infinity scarf my mom got me for Christmas. I even went monochrome with my accessories, grabbing my gray purse and black and gold jewelry to go with it so my only pop of color was from my red lipstick (totally channeling my inner Taylor Swift here). I got this lipstick in one of my BirchBoxes and I absolutely love it. It's a matte finish with super vibrant hues that stays on forever! Even when I got home and wiped it off my lips were still slightly tinted red. Definitely a recommendation if you don't want to reapply your lipstick throughout the night!

Hello gorgeous weather this weekend! I couldn't bear to sit around inside with this amazing weather in mid January (especially now that college football is over and my Bengals lost already) so I took advantage of the sun and warmth and did every thing I could outside. I found this adorable open shoulder top at Forever 21 surprisingly for only $5.80! I didn't even know it was on sale until I went to the register and my total rang up as less than the shirt was marked as. Talk about a good shopping find! I decided to pair the shirt with a fun statement necklace (which the guy at Publix complemented me on by saying "I like your thing.... you know your necklace thingy.... I don't even know what that's called but saying I like your thing sounds really bad"), jeans and my H&M studded booties for a fun yet casual look perfect for running around doing errands in. Or playing corn hole in like I ended up doing later! :) Hope you all had an amazing weekend!

I would really appreciate it if Florida would make up it's mind whether it wants to be hot or cold. Two days ago it was in the 80's and now it's in the 40's. These crazy weather swings are really messing with my wardrobe (as well as my mind)! With the current weather drop it was time to break back out the sweaters and boots so I grabbed this adorable aztec embroidered sweater I found at Forever 21. To keep comfy I decided to pair it with my leather leggings (easily one of my favorite wardrobe staples) and these amazing studded boots I got from H&M. Oh did I mention I got them on sale? Only $15, marked down from $50! I couldn't pass these up! When it's cold out I usually don't accessorize too much, I know any bracelets I wear no one will see since I'm bundled up so I kept it simple with this outfit and let the aztec embroidery be my statement piece.

Lately I've been obsessed with these cardigan/kimono style tops. They look cute with jeans, shorts, skirts and dresses so they're literally the perfect compliment to any outfit. I got this adorable fringe kimono top for Christmas from Lulu's and I've been in love ever since. It's slightly long on me (I am really short) but it still manages to look cute with any outfit I pair it with. For this outfit, I decided to wear a simple tank dress from Sophie & Trey under the kimono and my Target taupe studded booties. The deep colors of the kimono really work with almost any color and the fringe gives it a very boho vibe. It's also very fun to twirl in (if you couldn't tell by one of my pictures) and is light and flowy. It's definitely a piece that can be worn in all seasons.
