Lá Fhéile Pádraig Sona Daoibh or Happy St. Patrick's Day!
This is one of my favorite holidays and not just for the drinking. I love how everyone you see is wearing something green, I love Irish food and I'm not going to lie, I love the music and dancing! I usually play the Dropkick Murphys Pandora station ALL day on St. Paddy's Day and I love every second of it! Of course the (green) beer is a plus too, although I usually prefer the cider!
I had such a hard time finding something green this year. I felt like everything was mint green or sea green but I wanted emerald green so I began the hunt to find something that was the "perfect" color. After multiple stores I finally found this maxi skirt at Target (I shouldn't be surprised, I find EVERYTHING at Target!), not only was it the perfect color but it was also a maxi skirt - win for me! This whole outfit, down to my hair, was actually inspired by a co-worker of mine who came out to a bachelorette bar crawl wearing a similar outfit and the exact same hair style last weekend. I loved how casual yet chic it looks so I recreated it to celebrate St. Paddy's day with friends this weekend at Raglan Road. I decided to pair the maxi skirt with a tied off t-shirt from Hollister, a gold circular necklace from H&M that reminded me of a Celtic knot and sandals since walking around at Downtown Disney can be crazy (and it was!). Below is a preview of my St. Patrick's Day celebration, how did you spend yours?
{Me and my favorite girls, some crazy guy decked out in an entire rhinestone Ferrari outfit (stayed tuned, I might have to recreate that one ;) ), green drinks, green shots!}
