Happy Wednesday babes! Would you believe I am STILL sore from 9Round? I know, pathetic. I guess that means I am really out of shape. Either that or I worked muscles I don't usually work. To make myself feel better, I'm going with that option. Even my hands are sore, isn't that weird? Has anyone ever taken boxing before? Tell me I'm not the only one who's hands hurt after. Ok, enough whining about how out of shape I am, let's talk about this outfit.

By now I'm sure you've seen this adorable lace up cami on pretty much every blogger out there (especially during the NSale) but I still had to share it with you guys! I scooped it up right before my trip to Key West and wore it out on my last night in town but failed to take any Instagram/blogging pictures. I know what you're thinking, "and I call myself a blogger", right? Yeah, well what can I say, I haven't been the greatest blogger ever lately and I am a bit behind on the trends but seriously, how cute is this cami?! One of the main things I love about it is that it's double layer so it's thick enough to not have to worry about anything showing through if you decide to not wear a bra with it AND it's totally reversible. Ok, so it's not really meant to be reversible, but it actually looks super cute with the lace up detail in the back so you can wear it either way.

Happy AUGUST babes! Holy crap. How is it already August? I feel like it was my birthday just a few weeks ago and now it's literally almost 2 months behind me. It's crazy how time flies. I know everyone else is starting to prep for cooler, fall weather but here in Florida we're just now getting into our hottest months so excuse me while I continue to wear all the shorts, sundresses and comfy outfits. Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely ready for fall but I just know not to expect it any time soon. I get so jealous seeing everyone rocking their picks from the Nordstrom sale, knowing any fall things I get won't get worn for at least another 4 months.

Speaking of the Nordstrom sale, I did manage to scoop up the super cute, basic boxy tee during the sale that I can wear right now! I love a good basic tee/tank and I absolutely love the fit of this one and how lightweight it is. It's definitely perfect for our hot summer days and will be perfect to wear into fall with jeans, booties and maybe even a jacket. Yeah, I know, I'll probably have to wait until winter to break out the jackets. I wore this outfit on Saturday checking out local breweries and it was the perfect casual Saturday look. I loved dressing it up slightly with a bold lip and the hint of sexy with the bralette underneath.

My Favorite Fall Sweater

Guys, I have some exciting news. Ok, more exciting for me than you but I just had to share that I have officially finished my Christmas shopping! I'm sure most of you actually finished weeks ago but if I'm being completely honest, I didn't even start shopping until this week so getting everything done in less than a week about two weeks before Christmas feels pretty good. Maybe next year I won't procrastinate so much... maybe.

Ok, now that I got that off my chest, can we talk about this sweater/beanie combo? For some reason I love beanies despite the fact I think I look silly in them, but the first sign of cool weather I'm breaking out my beanies. The cable knit detail and fur pom pom make this one my go-to right now. I wore it out in Savannah pretty much the entire weekend and with the cold front that came through Florida this weekend, I got to break it out again. It goes so great with this cozy drop shoulder sweater that is another piece I can't stop wearing right now. I can't get over how warm it is and that is was only $20! Once the holidays are over and my bank account stabilizes again, I will definitely be scooping this up in other colors. It's so easy to dress up or down and goes with everything.

Camel Mockneck Sweater

Happy almost Friday friends! Sorry again for my absence yesterday! But I'm back from Jacksonville and all is good again! We had a nice little cold front come through this weekend and it was definitely a nice change of pace from the 80 degree weather we've been having but I have to admit, I was definitely jealous seeing everyone else's Snaps of snow they were getting, even if it was just flurries. But another cold snap meant it gave me an excuse to break out the cold weather gear again so I definitely won't complain.
Lately I've been a huge fan of tops with either mockneck, turtleneck or cowl neck so when I saw this sweater I knew I had to have it. It didn't hurt it's currently on major sale and for someone trying to save a bit after spending probably way too much during the holidays, any little bit helps. A good turtleneck/mockneck sweater is a definite must have closet staple in my opinion. Back in my college days (when I was all about the cleavage) you wouldn't catch me dead in a turtleneck or mockneck but now that I've gotten older I understand and appreciate the conservativeness but I also realize that a turtleneck can be extremely flattering and looks great on just about everyone. I've also learned to appreciate warmer clothing on cold days ;) The joys of growing up! I kept things pretty casual here, pairing the sweater with some destroyed denim jeans and my favorite over the knee boots. The struggle is real for us short girls finding over the knee boots that aren't so far up your leg they look like you're wearing chaps! Please tell me I'm not the only shortie with this problem?
