I am loving shift dresses lately! I love that you can add a skinny belt or a wide belt, heels or flats, a little bit of jewelry or a jacket and completely change the look of the dress. I found this amazing color block dress on Lulu*s (they have it in other colors if you aren't really into the neutral look) and I immediately jumped on it. The first time I wore the dress was out to dinner and I paired it with a floppy hat and a leather jacket but this time I wanted to go for a more structured look so I added a skinny belt and my favorite Vince Camuto booties. Maybe in the future I'll do another post featuring this dress but wear it in a more casual look like I originally did and you guys can decide which way you think it looks best. It's an added bonus that the dress can easily be worn in pretty much every season!

I originally found this skirt on Pinterest and absolutely loved it but didn't know where to find it. Then one fateful afternoon I wandered into Tria and there it was on the table in front of me right when you walked in the door. I immediately tried it on but sadly wasn't sold on it. I ended up leaving it behind that day but still thought about it until I opened a box with the skirt in it on Christmas. It had to be fate! My only problem is I didn't know what to pair it with. I tried matching the outfit the girl on Pinterest was wearing but it just didn't look right on me so the skirt sat in my closet for the past few weeks just waiting for it's moment to shine. Then one day it hit me. Why not pair it with something bright and fun? I bought this neon yellow shirt from Sophie & Trey last year and I LOVE the color and how it fits. I've worn it with jeans, leggings and skirts and it always looks good so I figured why not try it with this studded skirt? At first I wasn't so sure but I kept it on while walking around the house and I ended up loving the way it looked together. What do you think, do neons and mixed metals go together?

I would really appreciate it if Florida would make up it's mind whether it wants to be hot or cold. Two days ago it was in the 80's and now it's in the 40's. These crazy weather swings are really messing with my wardrobe (as well as my mind)! With the current weather drop it was time to break back out the sweaters and boots so I grabbed this adorable aztec embroidered sweater I found at Forever 21. To keep comfy I decided to pair it with my leather leggings (easily one of my favorite wardrobe staples) and these amazing studded boots I got from H&M. Oh did I mention I got them on sale? Only $15, marked down from $50! I couldn't pass these up! When it's cold out I usually don't accessorize too much, I know any bracelets I wear no one will see since I'm bundled up so I kept it simple with this outfit and let the aztec embroidery be my statement piece.

Lately I've been obsessed with these cardigan/kimono style tops. They look cute with jeans, shorts, skirts and dresses so they're literally the perfect compliment to any outfit. I got this adorable fringe kimono top for Christmas from Lulu's and I've been in love ever since. It's slightly long on me (I am really short) but it still manages to look cute with any outfit I pair it with. For this outfit, I decided to wear a simple tank dress from Sophie & Trey under the kimono and my Target taupe studded booties. The deep colors of the kimono really work with almost any color and the fringe gives it a very boho vibe. It's also very fun to twirl in (if you couldn't tell by one of my pictures) and is light and flowy. It's definitely a piece that can be worn in all seasons.

Light Up UCF is such a fun little event at my alma matar held every year around Christmas. It was a gorgeous day to go, although slightly breezy, but with it being so close to Christmas it was pretty empty. I decided I wanted to be comfy walking around so I decided to wear leggings with this adorable chevron sweater one of my close friends got me for Christmas. To finish the look I decided to throw on a tassel necklace I got from Forever 21 last year and studded ballet flats I got from Target for only $10! I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas and got everything they wanted! :) Be sure to check out all the amazing sales going on right now!
