Happy Monday and first day of May friends! Can you believe it's already May? Where has this year gone? I feel like I blinked and the year was half over. Thanks to everyone for understanding my absence last week. I was right to assume the week would be hectic so keeping up in the blogging world would be impossible! For those who didn't know, last week I spent the week out in Las Vegas for a work conference so today I'm recapping that trip (mainly in pictures).
. This wasn't my first trip to Vegas so I already knew what to expect for the most part but I can honestly say Vegas has changed SO much in the past 7 years. I feel like Vegas is one of those places that is always evolving so if you go every few years you'll probably have something new to see but there really isn't the need to spend more than a few days there. We were there Sunday through Thursday and only really had one evening off so I didn't get to do nearly as much sightseeing as I would have liked but if you were there for 3-4 days without having to be stuck inside a convention center for 9 hours a day you could easily see all the sights Vegas has to offer.
This trip I ended up staying at The Venetian in a Bella Suite and I would absolutely stay there again. The Venetian is right in the heart of the strip so you can pretty much walk everywhere (the strip is only 2.5 miles long total so you can technically walk every where any way but it just might take you awhile). There are also a bunch of delicious restaurants in the Venetian not to mention the amazing pools. Yes, I said pools! If you're not much of a gambler, there's still plenty for you to do in Vegas! From some of the best restaurants in the country to amazing shows, shopping and nightlife you can find plenty to do without hitting the slots. If you haven't been to Vegas, definitely add it to your bucket list. It's worth visiting at least once!
