Weekending

Happy Monday friends! I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend and is ready for May! I must admit, May snuck up on me but I am super excited for this month since my parents are coming to visit and I have a vacation planned at the end of the month. Not to mention May is usually around the time I start spending at least one day during the weekend at the pool or at the beach and that's never a bad thing! Linking up with Biana for our weekend recap.
Friday was pretty typical. After my three day photo shoot (mainly outdoors in 90 degree heat) and Friday playing catch up and being the only manager in the office after noon I was ready to head home and enjoy a glass of wine and my favorite tv shows.
Saturday I woke up motivated so I headed up to the gym for a an early(ish) morning workout. Gotta get bikini ready by the end of this month!
After getting cleaned up from the gym we headed over to Kate's house for some pool time and games. The water ended up still being a bit to chilly to get in so we played a few rounds of Cards Against Humanity (I've never seen the 6th edition expansion pack so it was like a whole new game!) and then we headed out to dinner. After dinner we played a round of putt putt before calling it a night.

Sunday officially ended my no spend month (woohoo!) so of course I did some shopping! I am so proud of myself that I went the entire month of April without any unnecessary spending; I did run out of chapstick and shampoo during the month so I picked up those essential things but outside of that I didn't buy any thing else. The rest of the day was spent relaxing outside and painting my nails this fun bright pink color called VIP from Sinful Colors. The perfect color for spring and summer!
Hope everyone has a fantastic week!
