Places to eat in Orlando: Tapa Toro
4/10/2017
Happy Monday dolls! Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! Our weather was absolutely gorgeous so of course I had to take advantage and spend as much time outside as possible. Unfortunately we won't have too many mid-70 degree, low humidity days again for awhile since Florida doesn't get too much of a spring. So on Saturday after doing cryotherapy (don't worry, more on that later!), Kerri, the boys and I headed down to the touristy area of Orlando for some drinks, some food and some laughs. Oh yeah, and some putt putt because why not?
We decided to check out yet another tapas place, Tapa Toro, located at the I-Drive 360 area.Tapa Toro has gorgeous decor and an awesome happy hour. Every day from 3-6 pm you can get 1/2 off house wine, beer and sangria, 1/2 priced cocktail pitchers and $2-$6 tapas at the bar. We settled in, ordered a rose sangria and decided on some tapas to share. The ham croquettes and meatballs were delicious, the patatas bravas were good but not the best we've ever had and the pork belly was decent but a little dry. One of the things Tapa Toro is known for is their HUGE portions of paella. We didn't try it but from the bar you can see the paella being made and it definitely looked and smelled amazing. Despite it being in the touristy area of Orlando on a Saturday, it definitely wasn't very busy so we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves without feeling rushed. If you're looking for a place to check out on I-Drive, I definitely recommend Tapa Toro for happy hour!
Hope everyone has a fantastic week!
