Fall Blush
9/20/2017
Oh hey halfway day! While I'm super excited the week is half over, I'm definitely on high alert over Hurricane Maria. There's still a lot of uncertainty over her path right now so I'm trying not to get too stressed over it but really? What is with this storm season? Ok enough of that. On a positive note, Kerri and I are headed to see Mumford and Sons tomorrow so that should be pretty awesome! Although I'm really wishing my work from home day was this Friday instead of last because I have a feeling Friday is going to be rough.
Florida still hasn't gotten the memo fall is starting tomorrow so I've been super jealous of everyone's cozy fall outfits while I'm over here sweating to death if I try to wear jeans. It actually makes me laugh when I see Florida bloggers trying to make fall happen so they can increase the RS sales because I know that A. Not only did they not actually wear that outfit anywhere because if they did, they'd probably have heatstroke and B. They probably almost passed out just taking the pictures! That's why you see me over here still rocking tank tops and shorts until it's not 85 degrees with 90% humidity. Speaking of tank tops, I wore this outfit out for happy hour on Friday evening and this might be my new favorite tank. The flowy chiffon material is lightweight and comfy and I love the ruffles on the top and down the sides. It's no secret that pink is my least favorite color but blush is definitely growing on me! I'll admit, this outfit looks far more appropriate for spring than fall but I've never been one to stick to trends anyway! Hope everyone has a fantastic rest of the week! Do me a favor send all the bad juju to Hurricane Maria to keep her away, I'm pretty sure none of us are ready for another storm.

I totally understand wanting fall with y'alls temps, but yeah, trying to do fall posts in that heat, eeeep! Loving the blush color and how you styled it.

ReplyDeleteWe had fall weather for two weeks... but it's 90 here this week! Ugh! I love pink and blush is becoming my fave. It looks beautiful on you! Enjoy the concert!
ReplyDeleteThis hurricane season has been so insane! I'm definitely sending bad vibes to Maria so that hopefully she breaks up sometime soon and doesn't head for y'all! This top is so cute, and I love all the ruffles! The fall is definitely not here in Texas either, and I'd love to be able to wear some sweaters, but that probably won't happen until December if I'm lucky.
