Happy 2016 my friends! Hope everyone had a wonderful time ringing in the New Year! I am still in shock it's 2016. In fact I think it will be at least March before I'm finally writing 2016 instead of 2105 {no joke, I just wrote 2015 instead of 2016 and had to correct myself}. The struggle is real. Since I'm exhausted and wishing I was still in bed let's hop right into my weekend recap with the lovely Biana!
I took of New Year's Eve to relax, clean the house and get some stuff done before the new year. I always like to start the new year with a clean house! Kerri, the boys and I headed out to dinner at Bonefish to start our New Year's Eve. Although we had reservations we still ended up having to wait a bit, which I expected, but we were right near the door so it was awesome people watching.
After dinner we headed back to my house for some champagne, games and football... in our pajamas. Yup, that's right, we ended 2015 nice and cozy in our pajamas and it was glorious. Several games of Exploding Kittens and Cards Against Humanity were played while rocking out to hits of the 90's and we were in bed by like 1:30. The perfect NYE in my opinon!
Friday morning I was up bright and early making breakfast before heading out to the Citrus Bowl to watch the Gators take on get beat by Michigan. I'm not a huge Florida fan but I'm the farthest thing from a Michigan fan so this was hard to watch but our seats were in the second row literally on the 50 yard line so I couldn't complain.
We were literally so close I could hear Jim Harbaugh have his little girl breakdown and yell at the official in the third quarter. My only other complaint (besides FL losing) was how hot it was. The heat index was 91... definitely hard to believe it was January 1st. Especially since a cold front came through the next day!
Saturday I slept in a little and relaxed a bit before running some errands and taking down the Christmas decorations. It was definitely bitter sweet since I never really fully got into the holiday spirit this year but it's always nice to have my house de-cluttered after the holidays!
Sunday we went to Brass Tap to watch my Bengals take on the Ravens before heading out to Disney even though the weather was awful to enjoy the Osbourne Family Spectacle of Lights one last time. The lights ended forever on Sunday so despite the cold temperatures and the rain I'm really glad we got to go one last time (I know, I know, I say that every time but this time it really was the last time!).
Hope everyone has a fabulous first full week of 2016!
