Happy Thursday loves! One day closer to the weekend! It's all downhill from here, right? With the much warmer and humid temperatures (not to mention the afternoon showers) I am in a summer state of mind already. Leave it to Florida to skip right over spring and go straight to summer. But with summer fast approaching I already having beach and boat attire on the brain. Inspired by my girl Jill, I decided to put together my own "from beach to bar look".

Happy Wednesday lovelies! I hope everyone is having a fabulous week so far! Yesterday I woke up thinking it was Wednesday when it wasn't and then I had meetings all day so my schedule is all kinds of off this week! But I am happy to say I've already made it to the gym twice this week so it seems like I'm starting to get my schedule under control again! Ok, enough with the chit chat. You all already know by now that I'm a big fan of pieces you can transition from day to night. As great as a LBD is, or little black romper in my case, sometimes you just need something to spice it up!

Yay Friday eve! Yesterday I thought it was Thursday so this morning was extra rough but at least the weekend is in sight! With our trip partially booked to Charleston I have been non-stop dreaming of a vacation wardrobe. Biana has to keep reminding me that it's going to be pretty hot in Charleston in August so some of the outfits I keep lusting after might not be the greatest idea. Y'all know I love pieces I can take from day to night and with limited room in my carry on I've been coming up with outfits or pieces I can transition.

Yay! I'm finally back on the fashion side of things! It was nice taking a mini break last week but it's nice to be back again! I don't know about you but I love a good graphic t-shirt or tank top. They are so fun to dress up or down and are definitely comfortable which makes them perfect for every day wear. As you guys learned in my little about me post last week, I love animals, so when I came across this sparkly elephant graphic tank from Hollister I knew I had to have it. I didn't even bother to try it on, I knew whether it fit or didn't it'd still be coming home with me!

From Day to Night: The Black Maxi

I found this maxi dress on H&M's website under the sale section for only $20! At first I was hesitant about getting it because I wasn't sure how it would look on me and being a jersey maxi I was worried about the quality but I went ahead and bought it any way. I was super impressed when I got it because not only was the quality a lot better than I imagined it was also incredibly versatile. I decided to do a day to night look with it to have a little fun and show the versatility of a simple black maxi! The great thing about this dress is there are endless possibilities to how you can style it!

For the day look I kept it super simple. I threw on minimal jewelry, kept my hair down and straight and added a pair of simple nude sandals. It was perfect for running errands, going out to lunch or, depending on your work dress code, even wearing to work (I'd probably throw on a jean jacket with it for work).

For my night look I went for a more dramatic look. Since we all know my obsession with black and gold by now it's probably no surprise that I went with hints of gold to dress up this look. I added my gold mirrored belt, a gold clutch, added some jade drop earrings for a hint of color, and did my favorite go to hairstyle, the sock bun.

To Night...(Part 2)

Happy Friday dolls!!
There are so many things I wanted to pair this top with, it was really hard to choose what I was going to wear with it out. I finally decided on a pair of high waisted faux leather shorts from Forever 21, tights and booties to keep it chic and not be overdressed. I decided to go minimal with my jewelry and only paired it with a tiny arrow necklace that is so little you can barely see it in my pictures but it's one of my favorite go to necklaces to add something dainty to any outfit. One of the things I love most about this shirt is how feminine and fun it is. At first glance you think its just a plain white blouse but then you see the sleeves and the bright pink and orange threading paired with the rhinestones and beads really adds and extra pop to it.
