Happy Wednesday babes! Would you believe I am STILL sore from 9Round? I know, pathetic. I guess that means I am really out of shape. Either that or I worked muscles I don't usually work. To make myself feel better, I'm going with that option. Even my hands are sore, isn't that weird? Has anyone ever taken boxing before? Tell me I'm not the only one who's hands hurt after. Ok, enough whining about how out of shape I am, let's talk about this outfit.

By now I'm sure you've seen this adorable lace up cami on pretty much every blogger out there (especially during the NSale) but I still had to share it with you guys! I scooped it up right before my trip to Key West and wore it out on my last night in town but failed to take any Instagram/blogging pictures. I know what you're thinking, "and I call myself a blogger", right? Yeah, well what can I say, I haven't been the greatest blogger ever lately and I am a bit behind on the trends but seriously, how cute is this cami?! One of the main things I love about it is that it's double layer so it's thick enough to not have to worry about anything showing through if you decide to not wear a bra with it AND it's totally reversible. Ok, so it's not really meant to be reversible, but it actually looks super cute with the lace up detail in the back so you can wear it either way. 

Happy Wednesday babes! I'm still over here in shock that it's the second week of 2018. It usually takes me like 2 months before I finally get used to writing the new year on things so I'm all over the place right now. But the weather finally seems to have consistently cooled off here in Florida so at least it finally feels like, well, not summer. As much as I love summer, fall has always been my favorite season and while we don't get much of a winter down here I love when we do get the cooler weather. There's just something about that cool, crisp air and a nice cozy sweater that just makes me happy. 

I also love sweaters with fun details like bell sleeves or in this case, a cute lace up back. Obviously the more open back isn't ideal for super chilly days but it's perfect for those slightly cooler days and it looks oh so cute on! This sweater is actually heavy enough that even thought there was a bit of a cool breeze the day I wore it, I never actually got cold. Of course that could also have something to do with my favorite faux fur pom pom beanie but who's really counting?

Happy 2017 dolls! I can't believe it's finally a new year! This one is going to be a good one, I can just tell. Although, 2016 didn't set the bar too high so I guess as long as it's better than that I can't complain. I hope everyone had a fabulous time ringing in the New Year. I kept it incredibly low key this year and it was perfect. A few friends, some DELICIOUS food, lots of 90's music and games, and of course some Veuve. I was in bed before 1 am and woke up Sunday with no hangover so all in all a perfect time celebrating. The rest of my weekend was pretty relaxing which was just what I needed after the holidays and before my work website starts making me extremely busy again.

One of the other perks of this weekend is it actually got a bit cooler again and finally felt like fall (yes, I know it's winter but it's hard to say temperatures in the 50's and 60's are winter-like) so I got to break out some outfits I've been dying to wear! One of which was this lace up top and faux fur vest. I love that faux fur is still as popular this year as it was last year, it adds such a fun pop to any outfit not to mention it's nice and warm! This lace up top has definitely been one of my favorites lately, in fact you may remember me wearing it with shorts and sneakers a few weeks ago when I had the Busch Gardens debacle. In case you were wondering how that turned out, even after speaking with them multiple times they still refuse to accept fault on stranding us 200 feet in the air for 2 hours and feel that a bottle of water and half-assed apology were more than enough to make up for our inconvenience so I won't be going back to BG again. Ever. From what I've heard (thanks to social media) the ride has been broken multiple times since we were stuck on it but thankfully without anyone on it. Ok, let's finish talking about the outfit, for this look I dressed it up just a bit throwing on my favorite heels but still kept it casual with jeans. Have a fantastic week!

Happy first day of June! It's officially my birthday month although my birthday isn't until the very end of the month so I have some time. I still haven't figured out what I want to do to celebrate but since we took our annual Keys trip early this year (usually it's right after my birthday)  I'm thinking I might as well do something fun. Maybe it's time to take advantage of one of the fun resorts we have around here with an awesome pool and just spend the day relaxing. Funny that I'm already thinking of spending the day relaxing when I just got back from a vacation where all we did was relax!

Speaking of vacation, this is such a great vacation outfit! I am obsessed with this tank top and wear it on constant repeat. The material is so soft and lightweight, it almost has a suede feel to it and the lace up detail is such a fun/sexy twist. It's a little low cut for me so I like to wear it with a bralette peeking through but I think that adds to the fun of the shirt/outfit. I kept this outfit pretty casual with my favorite cutoff white denim shorts, some cute sandals and of course a Panama hat to keep the sun off my face. It's so bright down here in Florida that even with sunglasses on it can still be super bright so I love keeping a hat with me so I don't have to squint all the time. No one wants crow's feet around their eyes, right ladies?
