Happy 2017 dolls! I can't believe it's finally a new year! This one is going to be a good one, I can just tell. Although, 2016 didn't set the bar too high so I guess as long as it's better than that I can't complain. I hope everyone had a fabulous time ringing in the New Year. I kept it incredibly low key this year and it was perfect. A few friends, some DELICIOUS food, lots of 90's music and games, and of course some Veuve. I was in bed before 1 am and woke up Sunday with no hangover so all in all a perfect time celebrating. The rest of my weekend was pretty relaxing which was just what I needed after the holidays and before my work website starts making me extremely busy again.
One of the other perks of this weekend is it actually got a bit cooler again and finally felt like fall (yes, I know it's winter but it's hard to say temperatures in the 50's and 60's are winter-like) so I got to break out some outfits I've been dying to wear! One of which was this lace up top and faux fur vest. I love that faux fur is still as popular this year as it was last year, it adds such a fun pop to any outfit not to mention it's nice and warm! This lace up top has definitely been one of my favorites lately, in fact you may remember me wearing it with shorts and sneakers a few weeks ago when I had the Busch Gardens debacle. In case you were wondering how that turned out, even after speaking with them multiple times they still refuse to accept fault on stranding us 200 feet in the air for 2 hours and feel that a bottle of water and half-assed apology were more than enough to make up for our inconvenience so I won't be going back to BG again. Ever. From what I've heard (thanks to social media) the ride has been broken multiple times since we were stuck on it but thankfully without anyone on it. Ok, let's finish talking about the outfit, for this look I dressed it up just a bit throwing on my favorite heels but still kept it casual with jeans. Have a fantastic week!

    ok i love that top. so fun and yet, goes with everything. and lolita strikes again. btw can we get some of that cooler weather. this 85+ has to go! so crappy about the whole BG thing as you know i will boycott it too! bye felicia. i should really stop saying that phrase haha. le sigh. happy pseudo monday!

    Obsessed with that top, super cute paired with that vest! And ughhhh to Busch Gardens, they are up their with Carnival Cruise Lines in my book of horrendous customer service. Companies like that lose my business, and anyone I talk to. No bueno! It's supposed to cool off again this weekend, so hopefully you can break this fun vest back out <3

    I love your stylish fur outfit for winter. It would be nice for a party here in NYC. As for those high heel Stecy Sandals I have one pair and they are my go to party sandal. I saw you with the red one too. How many colors of the Stecy Sandal do you have. You probably have the glitter one too.

    Ok you're BG nightmare is just awful and i can't believe that they aren't even admitting fault. That is so disappointing! I hope that your 2017 is a great one! And I am living in my fur vest this winter, it's just so cozy! Loving yours too!
