It's definitely summer in Florida, the humidity is through the roof and it rains every afternoon. This day was no exception! If you follow my blog you might have seen this dress on my post last week when I couldn't decide between this dress and the red crochet dress, well spoiler alert, I got them both!
I love the cut out sides and back of this dress and you all know how much I love a maxi dress so I just couldn't pass this dress up. It's so comfy with just the right amount of sexy, it's the perfect day to night maxi. I love pairing cobalt blue with gold so of course I decided to pair this dress with some chunky gold jewelry and some gold espadrille wedges. I normally would have like to played this up with a pair of leopard print shoes or fun gladiator sandals but I decided to class it up a bit for this look. What do you think of the blue cut out dress, was it a good choice?

Happy Monday dolls! I know I shouldn't complain because there are worse things in the world but it was 91 degrees here this weekend and it's only April! Florida problems, I know. It's going to be a HOT summer. Not like that should surprise me since it's hot every year but man we just seemed to skip right over spring and went straight to summer minus the humidity. Again, I know I shouldn't complain especially since I got lots of pool time in this weekend but don't be surprised to see me in a lot of dresses and rompers in the near future! Speaking of rompers, I am seriously obsessed with the colors and print of this romper! I found it while randomly browsing Forever 21 and even though I was worried about it being a romper and me not always being able to pull of rompers I had to order it. For less than $20 I felt like I couldn't go wrong either way! I actually loved the way this fit and it looked so cute with wedges and a hat. Did I mention it also has my favorite thing ever in an article of clothing? Yup, it has pockets! My obsession with pockets is seriously getting unhealthy. With the exception of how awkward it is having to get basically completely naked to go to the bathroom, I'm really starting to love rompers! I'll definitely be on the hunt for more this summer. If you love sports and haven't checked out the Victoria's Secret collegiate and pro lines you totally should! They have such cute, girly pieces that aren't too ridiculously priced since sports merchandise is usually overpriced any way. My only complaint is that usually you'll see at least three other people wearing the same thing you are but you're at a sporting event, everyone is supposed to match any way!
