Happy first day of April! Hope everyone is having an amazing week so far. Sorry I was MIA yesterday. I had planned on blogging Monday night but apparently life had other plans and after getting extremely frustrated with my internet not working (apparently someone working on yard work in our neighborhood clipped the line for my internet completely knocking it out) and a few other things I just decided to throw in the towel and skip a day. Ok enough with that! Last week Old Navy was having a 30% off sale on pretty much everything in store so I decided to check it out and see what they had. Truthfully I hadn't shopped at Old Navy in quite some time but after finding that cute cargo jacket there I've checked it out more frequently and I must say, they've got a lot of really cute stuff lately! Their spring dresses are definitely on point and I am loving their sandals!
I picked up this dress during the sale and I had such a hard time figuring out what color I wanted to get the dress in. I finally settled for navy since it's such a great color for pretty much every season and looks great with a tan! I love the cute little detail on the back and while the high-low hem isn't always my favorite, this one is subtle enough that I don't mind. The material is very light, which is perfect for spring in Florida. The only downside is it seems to wrinkle fairly easily. I decided to pair it with a floral infinity scarf for a fun pop of pattern, perfect for spring and my favorite tan and black wedges. These shoes seriously go with everything, they are so perfect! Not to mention insanely comfortable!
Old Navy is killing it lately! This dress is so cute and that scarf is the perfect spring accessory. You look gorgeous! xo, Whitney and Blaire Peaches In A Pod
I can't belive that dress is from old navy!! The scarf is so pretty and I'm sporting a very similar one right now hehe!! Have a great rest of the week love!
Your scarf is perfect for this dress! I'm always impressed with what people find at Old Navy because I can never seem to find anything in the store when I go. You're lucky! :)
Beautifully chic and elegant look! The scarf is just to cherry on top. Lovely blog here btw! Would you like to follow each other on GFC? Please let me know on my blog so I can follow back. Thank you. xox Lenya FashionDreams&Lifestyle
Love the versatility of navy, plus that scarf definitely makes it springy! We hadn't been to Old Navy in quite some time but started shopping there again in the fall, and they've really come a long way!
Such a pretty and comfy looking dress, I love how you made it pop with the floral scarf. I saw all the emails for the ON sale, and just never made my way over and now I'm kicking myself :-P
And I feel your pain with the internet getting knocked out. We were one of the first finished houses in our neighborhood which meant there was still a lot of construction for a while after we moved in. Our cable and internet got knocked out whenever they were clearing out a new lot or taking down trees. The stupid bobcat was always ramming into the box... ughhh!
Sometimes life gets in the way of blogging and that's okay. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your Monday night. Love that dress and how you paired it with such a bright scarf. So pretty and springish. :)!
tres cute! love navy and i never wear it enough. boo on the wrinkling though! anyway, is it weird that i read your blog post title today and i immediately thought of the movie quote "is rusty still in the navy?" hehe. heart you - see you later! xo
Love this look! Old Navy is one of my favorite stores, so I'm glad that you've found a few things recently. The scarf really adds a pop of color to this outfit!

I really need to get in to my Old Navy! Last year I hated everything that they had...but the year before I had scored a few cute dresses so I hope I can find something. Love this dress on you! Navy is one of my favorite colors to wear.
navy is one of my favourite colours... so simple and neutral but not too boring :) looks great on you girl! i'd be so mad if the internet debacle happened to me! rage!
