Guys, I have some exciting news. Ok, more exciting for me than you but I just had to share that I have officially finished my Christmas shopping! I'm sure most of you actually finished weeks ago but if I'm being completely honest, I didn't even start shopping until this week so getting everything done in less than a week about two weeks before Christmas feels pretty good. Maybe next year I won't procrastinate so much... maybe. 

Ok, now that I got that off my chest, can we talk about this sweater/beanie combo? For some reason I love beanies despite the fact I think I look silly in them, but the first sign of cool weather I'm breaking out my beanies. The cable knit detail and fur pom pom make this one my go-to right now. I wore it out in Savannah pretty much the entire weekend and with the cold front that came through Florida this weekend, I got to break it out again. It goes so great with this cozy drop shoulder sweater that is another piece I can't stop wearing right now. I can't get over how warm it is and that is was only $20! Once the holidays are over and my bank account stabilizes again, I will definitely be scooping this up in other colors. It's so easy to dress up or down and goes with everything.

Trust me when I say these are by far not my best shots but cut me a little slack. These pictures were taken at about 7:30 am the first full day into my vacation and it was already about 140% humidity and 90 degrees out! And as you can tell from the ground, it had just finished pouring out so my hair was not happy with me and I was way too lazy to do my makeup. Plus when you're just heading to the beach it really doesn't make sense to get all dolled up! But I knew I couldn't go on vacation and not take advantage of the beautiful scenery Key West had to offer so I decided to do a few shoots while I was down there despite the elements. 

I found this shirt at Forever 21 and fell in love with the shades of blue in it. I honestly didn't think I'd be able to pull the shirt off but I tried it on any way and actually didn't hate it. It's a very lightweight material which was great for walking around on a hot summer day. I originally paired this top with a pair of white shorts (which honestly looks better) but with the rain white wasn't really a smart idea. I really can't wait to wear this top again with white shorts and maybe a pair of cute wedges to dress it up a bit. I love that the peplum makes it so versatile!
