Happy Friday dolls! Hope everyone had an amazing week! I don't have a lot of plans this weekend (yet) but I am excited because my mom is here so I get to spend some time with her. Unfortunately she recently got surgery on her rotator cuff so she's limited in what she can do so we might just be relaxing and shopping (and eating) but there's nothing wrong with that! It is nice to get to spend some time with her even if we aren't doing anything crazy, especially since I only get to see her a few times a year. Let's jump into my Friday Favorites with Amanda shall we?

 

 

1. Guys. I NEED this float. I originally really wanted the flamingo but then I saw Taylor and Calvin rocking it out on the swan and well, obviously now I need the swan. I have no idea where I'd put it since I'm sure it's the same size as my pool but still. #swangoals

 

 

2. I got this NARS Matte Lip pencil as part of my Beauty Insiders birthday gift from Sephora and I am in love! I got two colors but the Cruella is amazing! A perfect matte scarlet red that goes great with any skin tone and stays all day. Don't get me wrong, I still love my YSL stains but this is definitely another awesome product!


3. I kinda want this dress for my birthday celebration next weekend but unfortunately they don't have it in stock at any stores in my area. Boo. I've debating on buying it online, especially since it's on sale, but I just have this feeling it won't be here by my birthday so back to the drawing board!


4. I HATE that this is Justin Bieber because I absolutely love this song. I'm just saying it's Skillrex because I love Skillrex (fyi, Cinema is the BEST spinning song ever). This song has such a fun beat that I can't help dancing along to!


5. Finally, I'm loving that I get to spend time with my mom this weekend. We don't get a lot of mother/daughter time in so I'm excited to get some shopping and pedicure time in with her. I've been lusting after this hat, these sandals, a small card case similar to this one and these earrings so I'm hoping I'll hit the jackpot at the outlet this weekend!

Happy Thursday lovelies! The weekend is just around the corner and I don't know about you but I'm definitely looking forward to it. My mom is here today through the weekend so I'm excited to get some relaxing time in with her, maybe get a pedicure and do some shopping. We always end up going down to the outlets when she's hear so I'm excited about that since I only go down there like twice a year at most. The crowds are usually ridiculous and parking is horrible so I try to stay away but I know she enjoys going down there and I love getting the mother/daughter time in so I'll deal with it for her! :)

If you haven't already noticed, I have a serious obsession with stripes. I don't think I've ever met a stripe I didn't like, maybe I was a zebra in a past life or something! So when I saw this top in Zara I immediately picked it up thinking it'd be the perfect summer casual top and I was definitely right! The material is so soft and hangs perfectly, with the not too tight and not too loose fit perfect for those hot summer days. Oh and did I mention it's under $10?! Yup, major score. I actually ended up buying it in three different colors and now I want to go back and get the olive. For this look I kept it really casual (which is my favorite, especially on those 90+ degree summer days) and paired the top with some denim shorts, gladiator sandals and a hat. For someone who lives in Florida you'd be surprised at how sensitive my eyes are to the sun. I have to wear sunglasses or a hat outside on even cloudy days so usually you can see me rocking a hat on the weekends not only so I don't have to do my hair but so I'm not squinting constantly! Plus a cute hat is perfect for brunching which is exactly what I did after taking these pictures! Hope everyone has a fabulous day!

Happy Tuesday dolls! How is it only Tuesday? I guess I can't complain because my Monday was pretty awesome. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I LOVE my job! After being so unhappy at such an awful job previously it's such a breath of fresh air to be somewhere that I feel appreciated and valued and to be working for a company that has it together. Not to mention I get to do a lot of really fun things and work on a lot of awesome projects so I'm definitely never bored! Like yesterday for example, we got a private tour of this "brewery" about 45 minutes from our office. 

 

I say "brewery" because while it is a brewery, it's much more than that. BrewHub is a partner brewing facility that allows craft brewers to not only brew their beer to the exact specifications under the supervision of their own Brewmaster, but also to package and distribute from the Brew Hub brewery and make their beer available for export to national and international markets. This concept allows craft brewers to expand their distribution without the overhead costs of building a new brewery, storing or transporting product. Partner brewers have full-control of the brewing and packaging process for their own brands to ensure that all specifications are met.

We carry most of the beers that BrewHub partners with in our locations but the one in particular we went to go see was Golf Beer. Golf Beer is a craft beer company owned by three professional golfers, Freddie Jacobson, Graeme McDowell and Keegan Bradley. All three golfers have their own unique style of beer based on their own personal likes and backgrounds. Freddie actually invited some of us from our team to come out and visit the brewery, take a private tour and do a little tasting so of course I took them up on the offer! 

The tasting room was a gorgeous, very modern space with stone, wood and gorgeous fixtures that were both rustic yet modern. They have about 24 beers on tap including the 3 Golf Beers as well as some of their own stuff and other companies they brew for. I of course went with the Golf Beer and choose Freddie's own beer, the Scandinavian Blonde. I've had this beer before and it's by far my favorite of the 3. It's a full-flavored yet light and refreshing beer that's perfect for summertime sipping.

After doing some tasting we got our private tour of the facility. I won't bore you with the pictures of the behind the scenes stuff. It includes a LOT of metal and gauges and man was it hot in there. It was a really cool experience getting to see what all goes into making a beer and seeing the crazy expensive equipment. BrewHub definitely has the most high tech equipment I've ever seen, not to mention a huge facility equipped with a bottling line, canning line and even a lab to ensure the beer is perfect every time. Crazy stuff. I mean seriously, a lab. Like goggles, lab coats and beakers type of lab.

It was definitely an awesome experience and I thank BrewHub and Freddie for having us! If you're ever in the central Florida area I highly recommend checking out BrewHub, just not on a Monday since it's closed to the public on Monday. And if you have a chance to try Golf Beer, I highly recommend it! Freddie was easily one of the nicest, down to earth guys I've ever dealt with and you could tell he really had a passion for his brewery and his beer in particular and was proud of what he's put into it. Happy Monday love bugs! Hope everyone had an amazing weekend! I had a pretty uneventful weekend so this should be pretty short. Last weekend was definitely way more eventful but I'm definitely not complaining because I could totally use a nice relaxing weekend and my birthday is in two weeks so I'm sure the next two weekends will be busy. Friday I had my video shoot all day so by the time I got home I was pretty exhausted so I just relaxed and watched a movie. I got off early so you'd think I'd have gotten a chance to recover but nope, I was definitely ready for pajamas and my couch! 

Saturday I went out to the pool for a bit. It was nice to get to read and relax by the pool instead of running around doing things. 

 

Saturday night I hung out with the boys and made some cocktails from our menu on Friday and played Wii, definitely and nice and low key evening. It's been awhile since I had one of those!

Sunday I ran some errands before heading out to lunch/brunch where I ran into some good friends so it turned into a giant lunch/brunch fest. Hello unlimited mimosas! :) Ok, so I didn't order the unlimited mimosas but they did and the waitress totally let me steal off of theirs.

After brunch we decided to head over to the movie theater (walking distance) and see Jurassic World. Yup, I've been obsessed with this movie series for 22 years so I was super excited. Thank goodness you can drink in the movie theater because the movie wasn't that great. It was good but the plot kinda sucked... oh well. I mean, how many times can you go back to the same dangerous park? Right? Although spoiler alert, they totally have it set up for another one. Boo. Oh and I learned 3D movies are not worth it. In my opinion.
