Sequins and Sea Breezes: Snakeskin Print

Snakeskin Print

2/26/2014

Let me just start with I'm not usually a fan of snakeskin print. I love me some leopard print but when it comes to other animal prints I usually tend to stay away. I found this shirt online at the same time I found the leather shorts I wore yesterday and again it was on sale for super cheap so I just couldn't say no. I love off the shoulder tops, I work my arms and shoulders out enough at the gym so I like to show them off (my abs however... not so much). I figure the off the shoulder tops are great for spring when it's still on the cooler side at night and not blistering hot during the day and they have a sexy bohemian vibe that can be dressed up or down. I went pretty casual with this outfit, pairing the top with a pair of skinny jeans from Hollister and my favorite simple heels from Lulu*s. I originally wore this shirt over a slip tube top dress I got from Sophie & Trey and a pair of gladiator sandals which was another great look with this shirt but for some reason felt dressier to me.  Sadly it's supposed to rain here again today so I'm hoping it doesn't bring through another cold front or I'll be breaking out the sweaters...again.

top: necessary clothing / jeans: hollister / heels: lulu*s {sold out in black but they still have them in mint} / necklace: forever 21 / lips: mac in lustering
