Sequins and Sea Breezes: Spring Abstract

Spring Abstract

2/13/2014

Hello warmer Florida weather! Can you please stick around longer than a day or two? *Update: it didn't stick around* I took advantage of a warm and sunny day by sporting this adorable flouncey skirt from Forever21 which has a fun abstract print in great pinks, yellows, blacks and neutrals. Definitely a great color palette for spring! Since it's still technically winter and a bit chilly out I decided to pair the skirt with a cream oversized sweater from H&M and quite possibly my favorite studded booties from Target. I'm one of those people who absolutely cannot step outside without sunglasses if it's sunny out so I topped off my look with my Ray-Ban Wayfarers and a fun fringe necklace from Forever 21.

I'm not going to lie, I just HAD to include the picture of me jumping for joy about the nicer weather in this post even though I feel like I look silly in it. I had so much fun with this shoot because of the weather and it was great getting to watch everyone take their boats out for the day since lately out weekends have been horrible. Although I will admit, it totally made me want a boat! Jealous!  Happy Thursday everyone!

  7. The sweater really works well with that fun print skirt. It is cool that the photographer captured such a good photo mid-jump. That water is beautiful. I wish I was there instead of in the mid-west. The temperatures have been so frigid here and the constant snow dreadful. Glad you enjoyed a mild temperature day.

    1. Thanks Sharon! I always feel bad posting nice weather pictures when I know all my friends up north are experiencing massive snow storms but the snow can be pretty too! Hopefully it warms up soon for you guys, I know the snow is only nice for so long!
