Happy Thursday loves! The weekend is oh so close, I can almost taste it. Ok, well not exactly taste but you get the point. I've decided these drinking holidays need to be on a weekend or at least a Thursday instead of at the beginning of the week. Going out (even if it's not very late) at the beginning of the week just makes the rest of the week drag. Oh well at least our weather has still been gorgeous which means I've been living in sundresses and rompers lately!
I bought this romper last year and have been dying to break it out again and this weekend the weather was perfect for it. I love the bright colors and the abstract pattern and the material is lightweight which makes it super comfy. Since it hasn't been ridiculously hot I decided to throw a sheer kimono on over the romper to spice it up a bit. I've been loving the shorts and kimono look but sometimes it's way too hot down here to layer so I have to take advantage of it while I can. I kept everything else super casual with this look since the romper is already busy enough. I'm not even kidding when I say this is the exact outfit I did some shopping and errand running in which explains the sandals and easy hair!
I agree, drinking holidays during the week are not nearly as fun as on the weekend! You look smashing in that romper, I love the design and bright colors!
I was just talking about rompers with my friend earlier this week! Love the colors on that one! And you are looking particularly tan lately....my pale faded tan is envious :)
I love the pattern of the romper - it's so pretty! I agree - if it's a work event on any day other than Thursday I usually don't go lol!!! The kimono was a great touch because it can get cold in doors in Florida LOL! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
Love the colors and the pattern! So cute! Also love it with the flats! You inspired me to buy my first ever romper from Target the other day! Can't wait to try it out!
These pictures are beautiful!!! I always have one of those long sweater things with me because of course FL and the scorching hot to inside freezing. The pattern on that romper is perfect! Pinning! xoxoxo
Love this look on you, perfect for a beautiful weekend day. And I will totally second you on the drinking holidays needing to be on the weekend or at least closer to it. Cinco de Mayo on a Tuesday is no bueno :-P
That is such a gorgeous print, and I'm a big fan of the layered kimono as well! Plus, that is such a cute necklace...you always have the best accessories!
That romper is so cute, I love how you paired it with a kimono. This is such a great summer weekend outfit, but I'd probably want to wear it more like every day.
LOVE this look! I love the romper and it looks great with everything you paired it with! Those tory sandals are my favorite, I wear them most days because they go with everything!
You look gorgeous!! I've discovered the layering problem here in AZ, too! So many of my clothes are meant to be layered, and everything I'm drawn to is for layering. But it's too dang hot (especially being pregnant!) so I'm avoiding the layering clothes like the plague now, ha ha!
So so so excited to break out my rompers again!! Love this one - I need to stock up on a few new ones at Forever 21 soon, they have the best prices and patterns!
this romper is absolutely adorable! and yes i totally agree - going out at the start of the week, even if it's just dinner with my girlfriends, always makes the rest of the week drag!
Love your romper! I have a question, that striped Zara tank you posted about a couple of posts back, what size did you order? I order a M so it would be a little baggier but it looks soooo small. I'm obviously large and in charge right now ;) but It looks super small to me!
I am so with you about hating going out early in the week and it making the week drag. Truth!!!! I love that romper, it is so cute on you!! Perfect outfit for just about anything. Let's hope the gorgeous weather continues!
