Weekending
7/25/2016
Happy Monday! I semi agree with the quote above. I do love what I do but Monday's are still a little tough. I just feel like the weekends aren't quite long enough. Who agrees? Ok, we are now back to our regularly scheduled Weekending post with B. Well... kinda. I didn't really do much this weekend and used it as a recovery time to get over my cold (finally feeling better!) so I'm recapping the brewery we went to last weekend. If you're ever in the Orlando area and want to check out some local things, more and more breweries are popping up all over so it's a great thing to do to kill some time for a few hours, especially on a rainy or crazy hot afternoon.
This week I'm talking about Ten 10 Brewing. Ten 10 has been open just over a year now (they had their one year anniversary on Saturday) and is located in Mills Park, just north of downtown Orlando. They recently started serving food so it's a great place to pop in for a beer or grab a bite to eat for lunch.
It's a pretty small building so if you come during peak hours be prepared to stand but if you're like me and you tend to be out when the sun is still out, there are plenty of tables and booths as well as a large bar to sit at, relax and enjoy the company and a cold one.
My personal favorite is their White Ryno which is a Witbier but they brew a large selection of different beers so you can find something for everyone! Not a fan of beer? No problem! They also have a selection of wines on tap by the local winery, Quantum Leap. That's another thing that I love about Ten 10; they support other local businesses. So if you're looking for something to do to cool off or avoid the crazy summer showers we get here in Florida, stop in a local brewery and try something new!
Hope everyone has a fantastic week!

ReplyDeleteI'm a huge fan of visiting local breweries! They're always so much fun and have such a unique vibe! I love that they also support other local businesses as well, so you can get a wine on tap too! Sometimes relaxing at home after is exactly what the doctor ordered, and it seems like it in your case! I'm glad that you're feeling better!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a big beer fan, so I love breweries that serve other things so I can still enjoy the atmosphere with friends! SO glad you're feeling better doll!
ReplyDeleteWe were just there last weekend! So many yummy beers! Their milk stout was amazing! I think Griffin got the White Rhyno!

I can totally relate to this quote too...weekends are just not long enough! That so cool that the brewery has wine on tap too. Actually, I don't think I've ever had wine on tap, what a fun concept!
