Whatttt, I'm posting on a Tuesday?! Who am I, right? I feel like life has been crazy lately but I finally managed to sneak in some blogging pictures in between work, the gym and jamming out to Dashboard Confessional. Yeah, I know, they haven't released an album since 2010 but occasionally I go through these days where I spend all day at work listening to Hands Down and this happens to be one of those weeks. Ironically it happens to be the week after 3eb announced a fall tour (which of course Kerri and I will be attending, shocker, right?) which brings them back to Orlando and the last time we saw them in Orlando it was with Dashboard! Ok, enough chit chat. Can we talk about how much I love this dress for a minute? Ya'll know I'm not huge into floral prints... or prints at all. Or color. And especially not orange and blue... At most you usually can find me rocking stripes but I'm just not a floral kind of girl. However, this dress was just too cute to pass up AND on sale so here we are. And I don't hate it. I'm obsessed with the low back and guys... It. Has. Pockets. If someone could please explain to me my fascination with dresses with pockets I'd really appreciate it but until then I'm just going to keep scooping them up and freaking out over it. Hey, if that's all it takes to make me excited should I really complain?

Happy Friday eve! Yay for the weekend almost being here! I felt like Wednesday should have been Thursday and today should be Friday so my days are all mixed up. Does that ever happen to any one else? I feel like it happens WAY too often for me and I don't know why! I did manage to get 3 days in at the gym this week (yay me!) so maybe that's why I'm so tired too. Considering I haven't been to the gym 3 days in one week since probably oh... November-ish? Maybe even October? I'm pretty excited. Unfortunately I know I won't be making it to the gym today since I have to go to our video shoot location this afternoon and I'm scheduled to be there until after I usually leave work so I'm already prepared to just skip the gym and hope to get a run in instead.

So, I'm totally tropical vacation dreaming in this shirt today. It reminds me of Hawai'i or Tahiti, some place exotic and tropical. I love the bright colors and especially the back! Unfortunately they only have this shirt in store but they have it in so many colors I think I might have to make a trip back and get it in a few more colors. The lightweight material makes it perfect for hot days and the fun back keeps it cool for summer! I decided to pair it with my white chinos to really allow the shirt to stand out and to keep it casual I rocked the ever classic Tory Burch Miller sandals. You really can't go wrong wearing Miller's with any outfit! I wore this outfit out to grab a bite to eat (at an establishment with a patio) and run some errands so I kept the jewelry minimal and decided to do a quick spur of the moment shoot. Sometimes you're just feeling it!

Happy Tuesday dolls! If you follow me on Instagram or read my post yesterday you already saw a sneak peek of this dress but I decided to dedicate a full post to it since it's not every day I get to get all dressed up! After much deliberation and some help from my girls Amanda and Biana I decided to wear this dress to my friend's wedding on Saturday. I've actually had this dress for years... I wore it the first time to Shannon's bachelorette party and then I wore it again to another friend's wedding but that was all before I had a blog so we'll pretend like this was the first time I got to rock it ;) Even though it's older it's still one of my favorite dresses to break out with the fun hemline, the gorgeous color and of course the sexy back (or lack there of).

The breeziness of this dress made it perfect for an outdoor wedding with almost zero circulation in 90-something degree weather. I made the mistake of wearing my hair down and curly, which by the time the wedding was over it was very much so no longer curly. I don't know when I'm going to learn that if I'm going to be outside in Florida in the summer that straight hair is my way to go. Since the neckline of this dress has a fun silver plate detail I decided to forego a necklace and opt for fun earrings and some bangles to dress it up a bit. I wore my favorite heels because I knew I'd be tearing up the dance floor all night (darn you wine... you get me every time) and I was! Might as well be comfy while doing it, right?
