Happy happy Friday everyone! With me starting out this week sick, I really felt like the week dragged. Needless to say, I am so ready for the weekend! Similar to my Monday post, I'm switching things up a bit today. Instead my usual Friday Five post, I'm sharing some of my favorite airport travel outfits since this time next month I'll be jetsetting for a long weekend! 

Whether I travel by car or by plane, I always like to be comfortable when I travel but still look presentable. This usually means comfy jeans and soft tee paired with some cute flats. I mean, you can't go wrong with a classic yet comfy outfit, am I right? The best part about an outfit like this is it's less likely to get all wrinkled sitting for any length of time and is usually perfect for stepping off the plane and then heading out to explore which is super important for me since I usually don't even bother to go to the hotel before running out to do something. Most of my trips are quick weekend getaways so I like to make the most of my time while I can. Here are a few of my favorite travel outfit inspirations that are perfect from plane to exploring!

Oh Monday, you came again far too soon. I saw a quote the other day that said why is Monday so far away from Friday but so close to Saturday and I couldn't agree more! I had a good mix of relaxing and going out this weekend including a little girl's night out with Kerri on Friday and brunch and The Secret Life of Pets on Sunday but like Biana did last week, I'm switching up my normal Weekending post for a little Q&A session!

If you could only... 

Wear one outfit // It'd probably be a pair of skinny jeans and a comfy tee. I love it because you can dress it down with sandals or flats or easily dress it up with heels and some fun accessories

Have one style icon // Probably Morgan Stewart from RKOBH. Her style is so effortlessly chic and timeless and love that the girl isn't afraid to rock jeans and a tee
Shop at one store // Probably Nordstrom. Even though we don't have one here they have everything I could ever need
Carry one handbag // Like B, this is like choosing a favorite child for me. I prefer smaller bags but if I had to use one the rest of my life it'd probably be a Louis Vuitton Neverfull. I'd like to disclaim while I don't actually own one now, if I was told I could only use one bag the rest of my life I'd go buy one immediately
Use one skincare product // I love love love my Korres Wild Rose oil. I don't think there's any way I'd ever give it up!
Wear one scent // This is a hard one for me as I get bored with scents during different seasons. I always go back to Armani Code and Chanel Chance so I'll say either of those
Indulge in one spa treatment // Facials. Hands down. You can get a decent massage from your significant other but a facial... those are tough to do at home
Apply one lipstick color // I LOVE my lipsticks but if I had to choose just one, Snob by Mac.

Order one drink // Champagne (I'm including rose in that!). Give me all the bubbles!
Pick one flower // Peonies
Apply one mascara // Buxom
Do one workout // Probably barre since it's a full body workout
 Read one author // Again, this is a tough one. I love Lauren Weisberger but I'm also a huge fan of Emily Giffin.
Live by one quote // Good ol' Winnie the Pooh

Happy Friday lovelies! We made it through another week! This one was definitely a bit rough, especially compared to last week but I know it could have been worse so I won't complain. But I am definitely ready for the weekend. I've woken up every day this week between 10 and 15 minutes before my alarm is scheduled to go off so I just got up but those lost minutes of sleep have really caught up to me. Alright enough talk about sleep or I might accidentally drift off at my desk... let's jump into my Friday Favorites with Amanda!

1 // At first I hate this bikini but after seeing it in store a few times I decided to try it on and well, it ended up coming home with me.
2 // Just last weekend I was thinking that I really wanted to pick up a new lash primer since I used to use one regularly but for some reason stopped. After reading some reviews and some other blogger's opinions I was surprised to see that a lot of the big name bloggers were using the L'Oreal Voluminous Primer so I picked it up myself and I've been really happy with it! At first it can be a bit clumpy but I started taking a tissue and wiping some of the excess off and I definitely see a huge improvement.
3 //  I've only used powder as a foundation for years now but in the summer when I'm outside and sweat I've realized it relocates to all the wrong places, looks cakey and feels heavy so I decided to give this a try and I am in love. It's lightweight, has SPF 50 in it and provides full coverage without getting cakey.
4 // The only thing I got from the Nordstrom sale yesterday was this tee (thanks again Kerri!). I love the cross front detail and the v-neck back. Perfect for dressing up or down and it looks super comfy!
5 // Thanks to B I had to check out the new Essie Gel Couture polishes. So far I'm happy with the one I got! The only downside is they don't have a lot of colors yet and it's a little pricey but considering how easily I chip my nails I'll pay a little more for something that will last longer!

Happy humpday dolls! Half way through the week! Although today is definitely going to be a hellish day for me. I have back to back meetings all day starting at 11 am all the way until 4 pm. But at least that should make the day go by fast, am I right? So it appears that I'm still loving all the things off the shoulder over here and I don't think that's going to change any time soon so if you're getting sick of seeing this trend, I apologize in advance. 
A few weeks ago I was walking through the mall and I decided to duck into Forever 21 (which I almost NEVER do) and immediately was overwhelmed. Does anyone else have this problem when walking into F21? After glancing around the store for a minute tops, I turned around and headed straight back out when this top caught my eye. I went over, picked it up took one glance at the fitting room line and said to myself "that's not happening" so I just decided to buy it. Buying things at F21 without trying them on can be a complete hit or miss so I was super happy when I tried this on and not only did it look cute on but it was super comfy too. It's perfect for all of these ridiculously hot days we've been having and will be great to carry over into fall. Plus at under $15, you can't beat the price! I love walking into stores and finding those hidden gems without even looking!
