There is something about a good vintage outfit that just makes you feel a bit classier than usual. I found this dress years ago in a vintage consignment shop and I fell in love with it. It felt so 60's mod but still classic and timeless. Not to mention it is SO fun to dance in! I don't wear it often because I'm petrified of ruining it but every time I put it on I always remember how much I love it.
Nothing goes better with vintage than more vintage of course! I added a pop of color with this vintage clutch which I borrowed from a friend, who also did my hair for me. Can we just stop and talk about how much I LOVE this braid?! I was totally on board to chop off my hair until she did this and now I just don't know if I can bring myself to cut it. If I could learn how to do this to my own hair I'm pretty sure there's no way I'd cut it but I have a feeling I'll go back to my annoyed feeling with my hair shortly.
She also suggested I "toughen up" this vintage look by throwing on my studded sandals instead of going for a more classic heel which I ended up loving of course! I never noticed until now but I even love how my nails match the clutch (totally not planned). I topped off the entire look with a pair of cat eye sunglasses, keeping with the retro vibe. Do you have any vintage pieces you just can't live without?
this dress is absolutely stunning on you, i can see why you love it! i know what you mean about petrified of ruining it though. love the clutch as well!
Love this!! That dress looks amazing on you, as does your braid! I keep going back and forth about cutting my hair as well, and I seriously need to try this braid now!
This is so pretty! I need to step up my vintage game for sure after seeing this. I got the bug to cut off my hair this winter and I am regretting it. It's cute but I miss my long locks
There is so nothing better than an amazing vintage piece and you styled it flawlessly. Your nails are way too perfect for this look and love that you ended up going for a studded heel. Adore!
