Happy Friday eve lovelies! Yay for the weekend being literally just around the corner! I really feel like this week dragged for me. Possibly because this weekend is my birthday weekend or possibly because I'm exhausted from waking up super early on Monday to take my mom to the airport but either way I'm definitely ready for the weekend!
I know it's summer (and 100+ degrees out here) but I just can't seem to say no to a perfect little black dress. Every time I throw on a good LBD I feel like Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany's, I can only dream that my dress is Givenchy though! Of course since Audrey's little black dress the LBD has gotten a little shorter and a little more casual but that's one of the things I love about the LDB is that it's so versatile and easily one of the most timeless pieces you can have in your closet. I love that this particular LBD is leather which adds a bit of edge to it and the shape of it makes me feel a bit mod. Every time I wear this dress I always get comments on it so I felt like the dress itself was enough of a statement piece so I kept my jewelry at a minimum.
