Happy Humpday lovelies! Hope everyone is having a fantastic week so far! Me? I've got travelling on the brain. So much so that I actually had an entire different blog post scheduled for today and I rescheduled it and wrote this one instead! I don't do nearly as much travelling as I'd like, although every time I do travel I get super sad about leaving my pup behind so maybe that's part of the reason, but with my trip to Charleston just around the corner I'm starting to think about what I need to pack! Me, Amanda and Biana leave for Charleston in exactly two weeks tomorrow and I couldn't be more excited to get a nice long weekend with these ladies and meet some Charleston bloggers I've felt like I've known for ages but never actually met before! 
So in the spirit of travel and my upcoming mini vacation I decided to share with you my travel essentials and maybe you can share some of yours with me!

Getaway Necessities

 
1 // A good weekend bag is a definite necessity for a weekend getaway. Loving this gold dipped striped one!
2 // I cannot go outside without sunglasses unless it's raining so sunglasses are a huge must for me. These are so cute and on super sale! I think Biana might actually even have these!
3 // Evian spray is a must after a plane ride to refresh. 'Nuff said there!
4 // The same goes for a good chapstick/lip balm. The air on an airplane is so not good for the skin and my lips always end up getting dry.
5 // Since I'm not checking a bag a rollerball perfume is perfect for a carry on and it makes it easy to touch up after the flight. My girl Kerri has me hooked on this scent!
6 // Good headphones are a must-have on an airplane. If your neighbor decides to strike up a convo with you and you're not feeling it you can just pop these in and call it a day! I've been lusting over these for over a year and for that price I might have to give in!
7 // I mean, does this even need an explanation? Of course you need a kick ass camera while on vacation! This isn't my current camera but I'm seriously lusting after this one. 
8 // I don't go anywhere without a hair tie so this one isn't really fair but especially needed on an airplane. If I'm going to try to take a nap I need to put my hair up and sometimes you get stuck on the tarmac for awhile and it can get a little hot waiting to take off. 
9 // Hello iPad! Just in case you want to do a little reading, social media stalking or just simply playing games! And how freaking cute is that case?
10 // A cute makeup bag isn't really a must but I mean... it's so adorable! How can you say no?
11 // Last but not least... a great purse that can transition from day to night and not take up too much space. RM bags are definitely my favorite for that and it's on sale!

    I love traveling and I know you three are going to have the best time in Charleston. I will have to grab some of that Evian spray for my next flight, never thought of using it to freshen up after traveling. I also need to invest in some roller perfumes! Thanks for the tips, lady!

    Yes to the hair ties! You never know when you are going to need one :) I never go anywhere without chapstick (I'm addicted haha). I'm loving those sunglasses you have too!

    I wish I could pack those essentials! I love that bag! I have been eyeing it for a while! My bag broke on the plane on our last trip to Fl and I got the knock off of that bag at Target. It's not the same ;)

    I love that Evian spray. I always carry it in my bag during the summer. A good weekender is a must. You ladies are gonna have so much fun. I can't wait to hear all about it.

    okay, i need that travel bag and those sunglasses in my life. I have never used one of those evian spray thingys after a flight but i have heard about them.
    I always feel super sad leaving my cats, but that just means I'm super excited to come home to see them!

    you know how i feel about this list. obsessed :) all are necessary. and go get that perfume! i keep it in my purse at all times. and the RM bag - eek - you almost kinda need it :) sorry :)

    I'd agree with every single thing on this list! I need to pick up some of those hair ties and the Evian mist is a MUST after any kind of traveling - so refreshing!

    That weekend bag is adorable. I'm in the market for a new one and this one is just too tempting. I've also heard such good things about that Evian spray, I definitely need to remember to try it this time! I imagine it would be amazing after a flight.

    You are going to have the BEST time! I could use a good girls trip as well as an excuse to meet up with bloggers- SO FUN! Although I doubt I will be leaving kids behind anytime soon, at least not for a good year or two! (KIDS! That is still SO weird to me!)

    I need to get some of that Evian Mist!! Great recommendations, I don't go anywhere without my EOS either. I always take a light blanket on a flight with me too, I'm usually freezing and love the comfort of home with me. What are you headed to Charleston for? SO fun that you're going with 2 other bloggers!

    Yes to all of the above! You and I are pretty much on the same page when it comes to travel supplies, especially the lip balm. That's my ride or die item right there. :) I bet you're so excited for Charleston!

    I love that bag! And those glasses!!! And I always have tons of hair ties with me at all times. I keep them in my purse, in my work tote, in my car and just about every room in my house has some. When you need to put your hair up...it needs up now!!! Haha!
