Weekending
7/13/2015
Happy Monday lovelies! Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. Mine felt WAY too short but I got a lot of relaxing time in so I can't complain. I had a pretty busy week last week so it went by pretty fast, I'm hoping this week goes by just as quickly although I'm not counting on it. Is it bad I'm already counting down the hours until Friday? Ok, let's link up with the lovely Biana and Meghan for our weekend recap!
This is going to be pretty short and sweet. Like I previously said, I kept it pretty low key this weekend so not much to recap! On Friday I had an offsite meeting most of the day which wasn't bad because it was closer to my house so no hour drive home for me! Friday night I made dinner, had a glass of wine and watched tv with my cuddle pup. Like I said, super exciting!
Saturday I decided to go on a mission to find a new pair of Converse and a pair of cognac stacked heel sandals. Ugh. Such an adventure. So many places don't carry my shoe size any more so that makes it EXTREMELY difficult to find new shoes. First world problems, I know. After spending hours on the hunt and going to countless stores I finally found a pair of white Chuck Taylors but still on the hunt for the cognac sandals. After shopping we hit up happy hour and grabbed a beer and then after dinner I met up with my love Kerri for some wine and chatting.
Sunday I literally sat on the couch the majority of the day watching movies and cuddling with my fur baby. I also ran some errands, did some blogging and then tuned into that show Humans on AMC. Has anyone watched it? Totally creepy.
And that was my weekend in a nutshell! Hope everyone has a fabulous week!

Sometimes you just need to do nothing and watch TV, I love it!

You needed to relax so it sounds like you did just that!! Did you find a pink lipstick too?! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteIt sounded like you needed this relaxing weekend by the end of last week so Im glad that you got exactly that! Wine with friends, some shopping and sleeps on the couch? Sounds pretty perfect to me! :)
ReplyDeleteLow key weekends that involve a little bit of wine and shopping are the best!
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday to you Pamela. Great pictures. I am glad you were able to relax this past weekend!
ReplyDeleteWine, friends, shopping, and lounging all day sounds perfect to me!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a super re-charging and relaxing weekend!! I swear, never being able to find what I'm looking for when shopping, but finding EVERYTHING I want when I'm trying not to shop is the story of my life! I hope you find some sandals soon! Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteA fresh, clean pair of Chucks are the best!
ReplyDeleteWeekends full of very little to do and chucks are pretty awesome in my book :)
ReplyDeletePerfect little weekend! What shoe size you do you wear? Can you fit in kids? I have a lot of friends with small feet (that aren't crazy small even) who shop in the kids' departments!
ReplyDeleteBeing able to pass out on the couch after some great bevs, food and tv = the best weekend ever!
ReplyDeleteRelaxing weekends are the best!! You should have gone straight to journeys and get the kids converses! I almost bought them the other day too and they are so much cheaper!

I don't know if you have smaller or larger feet...but judging on your size I'm going to say small ;) If so, I had to get mine in kids sizes! (I'm a 6 in women) Pro- they're cheaper, but Con- they're built a tiny bit different than the adults. My husband says they have "bumpers." Whatever that means lol ;)

I wear a size 5 in shoes so I feel ya on the difficulty of trying to find your size! I'm glad that you had a nice, relaxing weekend though. :-)
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a lovely weekend! That is a shame that a lot of places stopped carrying your shoe size. I wear a very popular size so I feel your pain in not being able to find the size you need in stores, it's always the first to go. Fingers crossed you find your perfect pair of cognac sandals! I'm still looking for one myself. It's way harder than it should be, right?

Sounds like it was a great low key weekend. I love a lazy do nothing weekend. Sorry to hear that places don't carry your shoe size anymore that is so crazy. The new world HQ's for Converse opened up near my office and they have a really cool retail store. I have yet to check it out but hope to soon.
ReplyDeleteYay for a relaxing weekend, I wish I could say the same! And I can't believe it's been so tough trying to find your shoe size, that's craziness! Loving that adorable pupper cuddling pic.. too cute!
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous week :)

ReplyDeleteSounds so relaxing!! Shopping, wine with friends and curling up on the couch? Yes, please!! Happy Monday :)

ReplyDeleteSometimes low key weekends at home are the best kind! I want a new pair of Converse. Not that I plan on getting rid of mine anytime soon but I've had them for almost 10 years haha.
ReplyDeleteLOVE relaxing weekends like this!
ReplyDeleteWhat size shoe are you? I have such small feet that I could totally shop in girl's sizes.... which I need to remember to do to save some money every once in awhile, ha ha! Poor Mia, I'm sure I'll be embarrassing her with our matching shoes as she gets older ;) ha ha!
I bought a pair of white chuck taylor's when we went to Boston last summer and they STILL aren't totally broken in and rub my toes the wrong way :(
sounds like a fabulous relaxing weekend :) that's crazy that you can't get your shoe size some places! how annoying.
ReplyDeleteDon't you hate when you are actually looking for something and can't find it?! That drives me insane! Sounds like you had a great weekend though. I have not heard of humans. What is this show you speak of?
ReplyDeleteSometimes weekends like this are the absolute best! I've never heard of Humans...now I have to Google it! Oh, and your pup is adorable. :)
ReplyDeleteIf you weren't looking for those shoes, they would've been everywhere! Story of my life! Glad you found the Converses, hope the cognacs appear soon! Looks like you had a fab weekend!
