Summer to Fall
10/08/2015
Happy Friday eve lovelies! Sorry for my absence yesterday. There was a slight incident with the train earlier this week which resulted in it taking more than 2 hours for me to get home which threw off my entire schedule for the week. Gotta love public transportation sometimes. This is the second time in two weeks we've had an issue so I'm hoping it doesn't become a "thing". Ok, so on to other things... late last week and earlier this week we had semi-fall like temperatures but in true Florida fashion, we're back up in the mid to high 80's which means it's still not quite sweater weather. Unless your sweater happens to be a tank top!
What do you know, mine is! I've been craving busting out the sweaters and jeans but with it still being as warm as it is getting away with a sweater can be tough. So when I saw this tank top sweater I knew I needed it for the summer to fall transition here in Florida. I had originally planned on wearing this with my destroyed skinny jeans but after stepping outside I knew I'd be way too hot so shorts it was! To keep it more fall focused I of course rocked my favorite wedge booties. I kid you not, these things are so comfortable I could wear them walking around all day and probably not get a blister. Sorry for how bright some of these pictures are! The sun was really out and honestly, I was loving every minute of it! Hope everyone has a great day!

Aw you remind me of mermaid here!! I love the tank - if you need to fake Fall clothes than that's the way to do it!!! Love the long necklace too - hope the train doesn't give you any more issues!! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteI agree with Biana--total mermaid look! We are actually getting mid to upper 70s up here too (altho the mornings start in the 50s) so it hasn't really been Fall clothing weather. Last week was another story. Hopefully you get some semi cooler temps to fully embrace Fall clothing, but for now, this look is pretty good! :) Hopefully no more train troubles either!!
ReplyDeleteI love sweater tanks! They’re a great way to have something a little warmer than a breezy cotton, but still not heavy.
ReplyDeleteSO cute!!! Love that necklace too. Sorry about your train incident too. I definitely relate to all public transportation issues!! Haha. I hope that you have a great day today though!! :-)

Public transportation, as convenient as it can be, sometimes it's the worst. Sorry your week as been all messed up because of it, that's never any fun. Your sweater tank is adorable, I just love that idea. Also, your hair looks amazing!

I'm so jealous you can still be in a tank and shorts right now - it's going to be in the 40s here this weekend!
ReplyDeleteGreat transition look for our warmer states! We've enjoying mid 70's right now but I heard next week is gonna drop dramatically. I'd take 80 over freezing any day!
