I know it's after Labor Day and people are starting to think more fall oriented but when it's still in the 90's here it's hard for me to get away from the summer mentality! While I'm totally jealous of everyone getting to break out the booties and scarves I'm going to continue to enjoy summer for as long as it wants to stick around down here. I hate those days where you could wear jeans or shorts and you never know which to wear to be more comfortable so at least when it's scorching hot out I know exactly what to wear to stay as cool as possible!
If you follow me on Instagram you saw this outfit on Sunday out for brunch and it was definitely the perfect brunching outfit! The shorts are made out of a satin like material which makes them nice and flowy (almost like wearing your pajamas but shhh don't tell anyone!) and I decided to pair it with an oversized tank to keep with the comfort theme. Brunch usually involves a mass consumption of delicious, definitely not overly healthy foods for me so wearing something comfortable is definitely a bonus. More biscuits and sausage gravy for me! :) Since it was brunch in a nicer area of town I decided to dress up the outfit a bit by adding my favorite strappy black heels and a fun blinged out necklace.
Those shorts are super cute and look super comfy! And now I hear Kristen Bell's voice in my head from Gossip Girl... "Spotted... at the deserted sun rail station" love it!
Leopard print is my favorite color! ;) I'm obsessed with those shorts and your heels are just fabulous. you have great style, which is why I nominated you for the Liebster Award on my blog! Check it out here: http://www.diaryofafashionista.com/2014/09/liebster-award.html XOXO!
This outfit, hands down, one of my faves. I know comfort was key here, but let's not forget how sexy this is! I love how the shorts go up a little on the side. Gorgeous!
Hang onto that warm weather style for as long as you can! And I couldn't agree more about brunch attire...comfort is always the way to go to make room for more delicious mimosas!
Those shorts are so cute, the comfort factor only makes me want to run out an scoop them up immediately. And that bold pink lipstick looks absolutely gorgeous on you!
Seriously love love love this outfit! The print on those shorts are too cute! I'm with you.. I'm not bringing out any of the fall items until it's absolutely necessary!
Those shorts are AMAZING. I am in love with this outfit! It is still way too hot here to pull out my Fall clothes too. I put on a sweater yesterday for blog photos and was dying by the time the shoot was over, haha! www.amemoryofus.com
Even though I love fall fashion, it is going to be really hot here for at least another month so I won't be doing a lot of fall looks. Love love those shorts!
These tap shorts are perfect! I love the black and white pattern! They're so versatile too...you can pair them with a simple tank and sandals for day or a blazer and heels for evening!
