Sequins and Sea Breezes: Weekending

Weekending

1/12/2015

Happy Monday dolls! Sorry I was a bit MIA on Friday, my day got extremely busy! I definitely wasn't expecting that but I made it through and here I am, starting my second week of work. I still am in the process of decorating my office, any suggestions or ideas would be extremely welcome! I'm definitely experience a bit of a creative block there. I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend, mine was busy but good! Speaking of the weekend, let's get into the weekend recap with one of my blogger besties, Biana, shall we?

Friday ended up being a lot busier than I had anticipated. Between a Facebook promo gone wrong and meetings about a new blog design for my company I was tied up pretty much all day. Never a bad thing though, I'd rather have things to do than nothing!

Friday night I had to return some Christmas presents at the outlet so instead of fighting rush hour traffic home, instead I met up with a friend and grabbed some happy hour vino and goat cheese to snack on.

After happy hour and running my errands I met up with some friends downtown for Jill's birthday celebration. I haven't seen some of these girls since like Octover/November of last year so it was nice getting to catch up!

Saturday I ran a bunch of errands during the day hoping that my Sunday would be open for me to relax and maybe get a nap in... don't judge. My internal alarm clock is so messed up so I end up waking up between 6 and 6:30 am on the weekends.

Saturday night I had a girl's night with a few friends to celebrate my new job and catch up. How amazing does that meat and cheese tray look? I can't ever say no to wine with a meat and cheese platter. I think I could live off of that diet.

We tried getting a good picture but it just wasn't happening. It was cold and dark and the pictures inside all turned out too dark so we got a lady to take a picture of us in front of the movie theater where it was nice and bright but I swear she had never seen a phone with a camera before. The cards just weren't in our favor there but it was definitely great catching up with these ladies, especially Shannon, who I hadn't seen in months!

Sunday I ended up running a few errands then I watched some of the NFL playoff games. My teams are out so I got to read a bit while watching and just relax some. Unfortunately I didn't get a lot of blogging done this weekend so if I don't post as much this week I apologize! I'll be back in full force (hopefully) next weekend! Hope everyone has an amazing week!

  9. Looks like you had a tasty start to the weekend! I can't sleep in much on the weekends either (altho with all of our delays and days off, I'm now used to waking up later. Tomorrow will be a rude awakening haha). Sounds like you had a great weekend overall and you're ready for your second week of work! I hope it all goes well! Send a pic of your office and maybe I can help with some ideas (I'm a Pinterest aficionado after all lol). Have a great start to the week girl!
