Happy Monday dolls! Sorry I was a bit MIA on Friday, my day got extremely busy! I definitely wasn't expecting that but I made it through and here I am, starting my second week of work. I still am in the process of decorating my office, any suggestions or ideas would be extremely welcome! I'm definitely experience a bit of a creative block there. I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend, mine was busy but good! Speaking of the weekend, let's get into the weekend recap with one of my blogger besties, Biana, shall we?
Friday ended up being a lot busier than I had anticipated. Between a Facebook promo gone wrong and meetings about a new blog design for my company I was tied up pretty much all day. Never a bad thing though, I'd rather have things to do than nothing!
Friday night I had to return some Christmas presents at the outlet so instead of fighting rush hour traffic home, instead I met up with a friend and grabbed some happy hour vino and goat cheese to snack on.
After happy hour and running my errands I met up with some friends downtown for Jill's birthday celebration. I haven't seen some of these girls since like Octover/November of last year so it was nice getting to catch up!
Saturday I ran a bunch of errands during the day hoping that my Sunday would be open for me to relax and maybe get a nap in... don't judge. My internal alarm clock is so messed up so I end up waking up between 6 and 6:30 am on the weekends.
Saturday night I had a girl's night with a few friends to celebrate my new job and catch up. How amazing does that meat and cheese tray look? I can't ever say no to wine with a meat and cheese platter. I think I could live off of that diet.
We tried getting a good picture but it just wasn't happening. It was cold and dark and the pictures inside all turned out too dark so we got a lady to take a picture of us in front of the movie theater where it was nice and bright but I swear she had never seen a phone with a camera before. The cards just weren't in our favor there but it was definitely great catching up with these ladies, especially Shannon, who I hadn't seen in months!
Sunday I ended up running a few errands then I watched some of the NFL playoff games. My teams are out so I got to read a bit while watching and just relax some. Unfortunately I didn't get a lot of blogging done this weekend so if I don't post as much this week I apologize! I'll be back in full force (hopefully) next weekend! Hope everyone has an amazing week!
I seriously am drooling at all the wine, cheese and meat photos you have going on!!! Sounds like such a fun weekend and I swear people that don't know how to take a picture scare me...where are they from LOL!! Hope you have a great start to your week!! xo, Biana - BlovedBoston
Anytime a weekend recap has that much wine in it? You have me hooked. Looks like such a great one catching up and it's not the end of the world that you didn't have much time to blog. You were busy having way more fun! Good luck on your 2nd week of work! =)
Looks like you had a tasty start to the weekend! I can't sleep in much on the weekends either (altho with all of our delays and days off, I'm now used to waking up later. Tomorrow will be a rude awakening haha). Sounds like you had a great weekend overall and you're ready for your second week of work! I hope it all goes well! Send a pic of your office and maybe I can help with some ideas (I'm a Pinterest aficionado after all lol). Have a great start to the week girl!

I seriously had the best time catching up! And yeah what was with that lady that had no idea what the hell an iPhone was ha!! At least we got one decent one! We need to get it together again ASAP! Have a great week!

Congrats on the new job! It sounds like you had such a busy but fun weekend! It's always nice to see friends you haven't seen in way too long. And I could probably live off a meat and cheese platter too.

I am in 100% agreement with you on living on wine with a meat & cheese plate. Add a little bread in there and I'm set!
