Sammy Dress Romper

Happy Tuesday dolls! It's still ridiculously hot here in Florida (I'm talking record highs of in the 90's) so my fall wardrobe has been put on hold again until it cools off some. In the meantime rompers are back to being my go-to outfits to not only look chic but also stay cool while Florida gets it's act together and finally realizes it's fall! I'm totally loving this romper from Sammy Dress, the pattern reminds me of the ocean and the open back adds just the right amount of sexiness without being too much.
The 3/4 length sleeves make it great for a cooler afternoon or evening and the lighter weight material makes it perfect for layering. It'd look amazing with booties and an oversized cardigan or gladiator sandals and a floppy hat. You guys know I love good transitional pieces and rompers are definitely the easiest pieces to transition not just from season to season but also from day to night. You can even rock a romper in the (Florida) winter with a pair of tights, boots, a chunky scarf and a leather jacket. For this look I wanted to glam it up just slightly so I paired the romper with my studded booties and a fun chunky silver necklace.

  2. I like the cut of the romper because it makes it look more like a dress than a romper!! It's super cute - I can't even believe how warm it is there...although I remember more than a few Thanksgiving's in the 80s lol!! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston

  38. I'm so mad that it's still so warm here in Texas too, but I know everybody up north is enjoying it while it lasts. I love how the booties and the necklace are a little more edgy! They offset how feminine the romper is really well!
