Happy Humpday! I was a bit lazy ok, scratch that, busy this weekend to do any fashion blogger pictures and to be completely honest, I over indulged a bit on the not so healthy food and beverages so even if I had time to do pictures; I felt like a whale so I probably wouldn't have liked them anyway. But in the spirit of trying to keep up with posting at least twice a week, I wanted to share some of the things I've been loving lately. Fall fashion is (hopefully) right around the corner for us so I've been scooping up or scoping out all the cute things in preparation.

1 // After seeing this bralette all over my Instagram, I finally bit the bullet and bought it myself. It's the perfect bralette to add a little sexy to a one shoulder sweater or top. It comes in 8 colors and I'm going to have to restrain myself from not buying it in every color!

2 // Despite the fact it's still in the 80's here, I've been rocking booties almost every day and I'm not sorry. I had these on my wish list for awhile so when I saw they were on sale for 20% off, I had to scoop them up. They're super comfy and the low sides make them perfect for warmer fall days.

3 // I'm not even going to try to pretend I don't love Selena Gomez, so when I saw she was doing a collab with Coach I knew I had to check it out. Coach had kinda fallen off my radar recently but their fall line is really cute and I love this clutch that's part of the Selena line. So adorable and how fun is the gold chain?

4 // I had been on the hunt for the perfect lariat necklace but kept coming up short. I wanted something that was dainty but not impossible to see while wearing and that wasn't crazy expensive. My girl, Kerri, happened to have bought a cute necklace recently and when I asked her where she got it, it gave me an idea of a new place to search and what do you know, I found exactly what I was looking for! Not only did I find my perfect dainty lariat but it also can be worn as a choker. 

5 // I recently bought this dress in the sleeveless version in the olive color so when I saw they made it in a long sleeve version, I knew it'd be perfect for fall/winter. It's so versatile and seriously goes with everything. I'm convinced this is the one dress that looks good on everyone. 

6 // Don't judge me for buying a scarf when it's still 80 degrees out but I couldn't pass this one up. It's the perfect pop of leopard for any outfit and it's under $20! Hurry up 70 degree weather... just kidding. Kinda.

Happy Humpday lovelies! I'm off on an impromptu work trip to Jacksonville for the day so pardon my absence from the blogging world today. I'll be back in action (probably late tonight) but I promise to catch up tomorrow! In the meantime I've been on a huge redecorating kick lately, mainly because my house doesn't have a lot of natural lighting so I feel like lightning up and refreshing some of my furniture might help to brighten up my house not to mention, it's a new year, why not switch some things up, right? I really want to redecorate in lighter, more neutral, classic pieces with pops of color and fun to spice it up a bit. Today I wanted to share some of my favorite home decor finds I've found lately!

Happy Humpday! Thank you all for the sweet words on Monday! I'm trying to get back into the normal swing of things since the tragedy that occurred here over the weekend and it didn't feel right to post yesterday so I rescheduled some things and well, here we are. Even though my heart it still hurting for my community I do know that life must go on and we cannot let this stop us from living and we cannot live in fear. My birthday is in exactly two weeks and I have gone back and forth about not only how I want to celebrate it but whether or not I even should. Not just because of the events that unfolded last weekend but because June is already a somber month for me due to other personal reasons. While I still haven't decided what I'm going to do I did decide that even if I keep it small, I should still celebrate. So I figured I'd put together a little wish list of things I'm loving lately and wouldn't mind getting for my birthday ;)

With the exception of Dublin (well technically NYC since we never actually made it to Dublin, if you missed it, read all about THAT adventure here)  I didn't have any definite vacation plans set. Every year we usually take a road trip to Key West for the 4th of July but after how unbelievably hot it was last year and the fact we're all getting older and that drive isn't quite as fun anymore, we decided to switch it up this year. Over multiple glasses of wine (and one margarita) Kerri and I decided that we should take a trip to Islamorada for a relaxing vacation this year and last week we officially booked it, now I have non stop swimwear on the brain! 

Lately I have been loving one piece swimsuits but I don't know how they'd fit on me. Usually when I buy a bikini the top and the bottom are definitely different sizes but you don't get that option when buying a one piece. Any suggestions from my one piece owners out there? Happy Humpday! It's all downhill from here! Or something like that... I don't know about you but I am definitely ready for the weekend. My no spend month is officially over in 10 days and I've already been putting together a list of things I need to add to my closet the second the month is over. Happy Thursday lovelies! The weekend is so close I can almost taste it! I've been downright exhausted this week so I'm ready for a nice relaxing weekend and if my dog allows it, sleeping in past 7 am. I actually wrote this post a few weeks ago but kept it in my back pocket for a week like this week! I'm not (and never really have been) a huge fan of the color pink. I have very few pink articles of clothing in my closet, and while I don't mind pink as an accent color (hello Lilly Pulitzer) I was never really the person who needed something in pink. When they released the Pantone color(s) of the year I was shocked to find that I actually was more drawn to the rose quartz color than the serenity, especially given that blue is my favorite color.

My initial thought was "pale pink and baby blue... how original" but the two colors are so often seen together that it makes sense. But the main thing I love about the rose quartz is like the color black, almost every skin tone looks good in it.Whether you wear it as a main color in your outfit, as an accessory or even just as decor in your home, rose quartz goes with everything. In honor of one of the Pantone colors of the year, I decided to put together some things I'm loving lately all in rose quartz.

Happy Humpday lovelies! Hope everyone is having an awesome week so far! I kinda feel like my week is dragging but I haven't been quite as busy as work so that could by why. And I have a hair appointment tomorrow that I've been looking forward to so I feel like that always makes your week go by a little slower. It's been awhile since I've done a loving lately post and with Valentine's Day right around the corner (seriously, can you believe January is almost over?) I figured I'd share some things with you!

This tassel necklace is so perfect for any outfit and would add the perfect pop of color to a boring white or black top. No matter what skin tone, this MAC color {Kinda Sexy} is perfect! I've been wearing it every day since I got it. We all know how much I love a glass of champagne so this tee shirt is perfect and for under $20, why not? GiGi has the best sale going on right now. You can get this gorgeous Uber clutch for just over $100! I was so excited to see my favorite drapey tank tops from last season back in stock at J.Crew already! Time to stock up on some new colors for this year! I've been a long time fan of the MAC highlighter so when I needed to get a new one and they convinced me to try this one instead I was a bit hesitant. Now I don't know if I'll ever make the switch back! I got this exfoliating cleanser back in December and I wasn't sure how I was going to like it since I wasn't a huge fan of the mask but the cleanser is amazing! It leaves my skin feeling so soft and smooth and is a gentle enough exfoliator that I can use it on a regular basis without it drying out my skin.

Happy Friday eve lovelies! We're almost to the weekend! A full week is always rough after a short one so I'm ready for the weekend for sure. I have a busy weekend but I'm excited about it so I think that made the week drag even more. But enough about the weekend (and me wishing it was the weekend right now) let's talk fur. Ok, so really faux fur but still. A few years ago I really wanted a cute fur vest for winter but I never found one I loved. Then last year I finally found one I liked but it was towards the end of winter so I passed on it thinking it wouldn't get much use. This year I saw Katie post a pic of her rocking her fur vest and it reminded me of how badly I wanted one last year and the year before so I decided to pull the trigger and get one this year. Of course since we live in Florida and it's still 80 degrees outside I had to order it and might not be able to wear it for a few weeks but I wanted to share a few looks I'll definitely be rocking the second it gets cool enough to wear it!

The best thing about a fur vest is it can easily be dressed up or down. Not only is it fashionable but it's also functional since it can keep you warm on a chilly evening. I love how it looks with plaid and a pair of leggings but it also looks great with a sweater dress and some over the knee boots. You really can't go wrong with a faux fur vest with any outfit. Don't be surprised to see me recreating both of these looks as soon as my vest comes in!

I know most people consider the end of summer Labor Day weekend but it doesn't usually start to even think about cooling off around here until at least October, sometimes even later. That doesn't mean I'm not seriously fall dreaming though! Even with cooler temperatures still at least a month out I'm ready to decorate for fall, enjoy the fall scents, and of course lust after the fall trends.




Of course plaid is one of my main go-to prints for fall. I love a cute plaid flannel shirt with jeans or shorts (hey it's still hot enough to get away with it down here).
Fall florals are also a fun pattern and a great way to transition from summer to fall. Especially fun floral dresses paired with chunky sweaters and boots.
I love rich, jewel tone colors for fall. Oxblood, navy and rust are some of my favorite fall colors but you can never go wrong with gray or taupe either!
Boots, boots and more boots! I cheat a little and always bust out my booties well before it starts to get cooler down here but I work in an office that on some days could be mistaken for the frozen tundra so I feel like I can get away with it. But I can't wait for the first cool enough day to rock these boots!
Jackets! I don't know why but I have a love for jackets. Of course I don't want to have to be bundled up in some crazy puffer jacket all the time but I love living in Florida where I can get away with all the cute lightweight jackets.

Happy Friday eve lovelies! Oh how I am looking forward to Friday night right now! Unfortunately my creative juices just weren't flowing last night so my original post got postponed until next week when I feel like editing and writing. Sorry, I know earlier in the week I promised stripes all week but I am just so tired! I worked from 7:30 - 4 yesterday then turned around and worked one of our wine tastings from 6 - 8 pm and it's almost an hour into work and it was about an hour to an from the wine tastings so I've been going non-stop since 6:30 am this morning. So needless to say, I was exhausted when I got home but I had a great time. We launched a photo booth at our tasting last night so I had to be there to make sure it went smoothly. I still have some kinks to work out but it was so much fun and hey, free wine. Can you beat that? So today I decided to share a few things I'm loving lately since I haven't done that in awhile!

Happy Humpday! I can't believe the week is already half way over and next week is July! Where does the time go? I swear June flew by. I feel like just yesterday Kerri and I were going to HOB for the Dashboard Confessional/ Third Eye Blind concert and now here it is a few days before my birthday and a little over a week from Key West! If you haven't been reading my blog for very long, I spend every 4th of July in Key West. This year I'm taking a whole new group of people with me and we're trying out some new things so I'm super excited! I love getting to celebrate the 4th down in Key West, no matter where you are on the island you can see fireworks (they set them off at the north and southeast side), our favorite little beach bar has the best red, white and blue cocktail and we get to bbq in paradise.
