Happy Friday and last few days of 2017 babes! I can't believe we're almost in 2018. I'm not one to make New Year's Resolutions but I do have a few goals for 2018, including making this the year of a better me. I'm definitely hoping for some big changes and good things in the year to come, all of which I hope I can share with you all shortly. Since I'm probably going to have a pretty low-key New Year's Eve, I thought it would be fun to look back on all of my favorite outfits from 2017 today. 

January

This outfit has been one of my most pinned looks on Pinterest and it still remains one of my favs. I wore this outfit on a warmer winter day and these moto leggings are still in constant rotation and are still in stock! They're super comfy and look so cute with almost anything. 

February

I had a lot of outfits I loved from February but if I had to choose just one, it'd be this comfy concert look I wore to a Breaking Benjamin concert. These leather leggings are actually super comfy and flattering and these Adidas are still my go-to shoe when I'm doing a ton of walking.

I'm a sucker for stripes and ruffles so it's no surprise that this is my favorite look from March. I wore this out to dinner while I was at a convention at Disney and I got so many compliments. These wedges are also one of my favorite purchases in 2017. I loved them so much I actually bought the exact pair in black as well.

Springing into spring in more stripes of course! Surprisingly, everything I have on in this look is still in stock and on major sale! I wear this top from work to cocktails out. It's so cute easily dressed up or down. I already can't wait for warmer weather so I can break it out again!

And into the hot and humid months we go! I wore this look late in May to an outdoor festival in Ft. Lauderdale by the water and it was the perfect outfit for spending the day outside. Unfortunately the all white version I'm wearing here is sold out but the striped version is still available and for only $20! You can't tell from this picture but the top is completely backless but still super supportive and the peplum is so sweet.

Technically I posted this outfit in July but this is the dress I wore for my birthday and it's still one of my favorite dresses. I was shocked when I saw it was still in stock and for 70% off so I actually just ordered it for this spring/summer in white and I can't wait to get it! Amuse Society is one of my favorite brands, everything is so well made and looks so cute on.

I wore this sweet ruffled, off the shoulder top for my birthday brunch and despite the fact I'm not a huge fan of pink, this is my favorite look from July. The flowiness made it perfect for stuffing my face with all the croissant French toast and mimosas I could handle and how can I not love the stripes and ruffles?

I am so ashamed to say that my favorite look from August is actually one I completely forgot about. I bought this dress on sale (it's still available and on mega sale now!) and wore it a few times before I started craving fall outfits and it got pushed to the back of my closet. With it's sweet pattern and colors and of course pockets, I can't wait to break it out again this spring!

September marks my obsession with Free People jeans and trust me, that obsession has not gone away. As a short girl, I have a hard time finding jeans that fit me and these are almost perfect. Not only are they only slightly too long, they are super comfy (seriously, some of the most comfy jeans I own) and they're so easily dressed up or down.

We had an abnormally warm October so I actually wore this outfit out for Sunday Funday in late October. It was a bit breezy so I brought my denim jacket to keep me warm when it got dark out but this silky, olive romper was so comfy and cute that I almost hated covering it with the jacket!

And my obsession with my favorite Free People jeans continues with this outfit. By now I actually have these jeans in three colors and I'm not even sorry. I wore this outfit to my third and last time seeing Third Eye Blind in 2017 with my girl Kerri at House of Blues. We had such a blast and while our spot for the concert wasn't as great as it was the first time we saw them this year, we made the best of it and had such a great girl's day. 

December

Despite the fact I've barely posted this month, December was actually tough for me to pick a favorite look. Most of my looks for December came from my trip to Savannah so even though it's been a pretty warm winter for us, I had a lot of cute fall looks I loved. I ended up going with this look because it was the look I wore on my favorite day in Savannah. We wore this out for drinks on a rooftop followed by dinner by the river after a huge UCF conference championship win that secured our spot in the Peach Bowl next week. These boots are by far my favorite purchase of 2017 and if it doesn't get cold enough here for me to break these out again soon, I'll be going on a trip some place cooler or breaking them out with shorts, dresses and skirts just to get to wear them again.

Happy Humpday and almost 2018! Is anyone else as in shock about that as I am? I feel like I say this every year but this year really flew by. How was everyone's Christmas break? I spent most of last week and Christmas weekend sick but I'm finally feeling better (yay!). And just in time for New Year's Eve!  Since I've been spending a lot of time on the couch I've been doing a lot of online shopping and I found some great save vs. splurge items I just had to share with you on the blog today!

 1 // These backless fur mules have been everywhere this season. Comfy, cute and warm? I can totally see why! There's a Gucci version that's $1k, but seriously, who has $1k lying around to spend on mules? Obviously not me! I found a $90 pair that look really similar but how can you pass up a pair that are only $25? 

2 // I'm all about the D'Orsay flats are these FP ones are perfect... minus the $200 price tag. So when I saw these replicas for $38 I was giddy! I love that they come in 6 different colors too!

3 // I'm not going to lie, I definitely splurged when I bought these Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots and they were worth every penny but I've found several pairs that are almost so close to mine, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. The main reason I went with the splurge is because my legs are so skinny but if these would have come in my size I would have definitely scooped them up, especially since they're less than $100!

4 // Everything about these suede lace up pumps is perfection... except the almost $900 price tag. So when I saw these dupes that are just as cute, way more comfy and they're less than $70?! Yes please!

5 // Leopard print booties are the perfect pop to any outfit. But at almost $1,700, I can guarantee you these will never be making their way into my closet. These aren't a perfect dupe but they're easily just as cute and less than $35!

Happy Wednesday babes! Sorry for my absence earlier this week, my sinuses have been absolutely out of control lately and truth be told, I'm think I'm fighting off my first cold of the season. I've been trying to relax and fight it off as much as possible. Leave it to me to potentially get sick right before Christmas! Ok enough of that, positive thinking and lots of vitamin C and I'll be good, right? 

Florida is back to it's usual antics of not being able to decide what season it is. A few weeks ago we got down into the 40's and now this week we're in the low 80's. No wonder I'm fighting off a cold, right? Luckily when I was up in Savannah a few weeks ago I got to experience some fall weather and see some leaves changing. The leaves changing is the number one thing I miss about living up north so I was so excited when we crossed into Georgia and I saw some pretty colors. Despite the weather not being super chilly, it was nice to actually feel like it was fall. This tee was perfect for being out and about during the day, not too heavy and super comfy, and it was super easy to dress up or down. It was a cloudy day out when I decided to wear it so to keep the breeze from cutting through the tee too much, I rocked it with a cozy scarf and my favorite over the knee boots. These boots were by far the steal of the century for me. They're currently on sale for 40% off but when I managed to scoop them up at Nordstrom Rack I got them for 70% off! Knowing how comfortable and well made the are, you can be sure that I'll be scooping them up in other colors for next year (the next time they're on sale for 40% off of course!). Alright, now I'm off to take some allergy meds and overdose on Vitamin C so I'm good to go for Christmas!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas... ok, not really. Our cold front has come and gone and today it's supposed to be sunny and 73 but it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Florida. The past few weeks have been a roller coaster of emotions for me but with Christmas right around the corner I'm trying to focus more on the positive and really get into the Christmas spirit. In case you haven't noticed, I'm trying to see how many times I can say Christmas in one post. Just kidding, that wasn't a goal but it did make me laugh when I went back to proof read my post. Since I haven't really shared anything or thought too much about a wish list, I decided to put together some last minute gift ideas any girl would love on today's blog post.

1 // What girl doesn't love a little David Yurman in her life? This heart bracelet is the perfect way to say I love you. Simple enough to wear every day and the silver and gold tones go with everything. This ring is also perfect for the jewelry lover. 

2 // If you don't own a pair of Soludos, you don't know what you're missing out on. I absolutely love my Soludos and these leather platform smoking slippers would go with everything and if they're as comfy as the ones I currently own, I'd be living in these. 

3 // If you've upgraded your iPhone like I have, the missing headphone jack can be a real pain in the butt. Wireless headphones definitely make things much easier when it comes to weights or travel but I am a little concerned about how they'd be running. If you aren't a fan of the over the head ones, these in ear ones are a great option too. 

4 // This leopard print clutch is a must-have for any girl. Perfect for date nights out, formal events or just a casual day out. Leopard is the perfect pop to go with any outfit. 

5 // Lately I live in bralettes. Not only are they super comfy but they look cute if they happen to peek out of whatever you happen to be wearing. This is definitely the must-have bralette of the season and I've been dying to get it in the copper color. 

6 // I am the worst at getting facials. In fact, it's been more than a year since I got one and despite the fact I'd love to get one more regularly, they're expensive and time consuming. But just because I don't have the time doesn't mean I can't combat aging at home. This at home microdermabrasion kit is perfect for getting salon quality skin at home.
7 // I am obsessed with sunglasses. I mean OBSESSED. And despite how many pairs I have, I still wear them all regularly. These combine my love for aviators with a more high end look and the best part, they're only $65!
8 // I also have quite the obsessed with watches and I haven't gotten a new one in a awhile now. In fact, I think at least 4 of my watches currently need a new battery... oops. I've been wanting a fitness tracker for awhile but was never sure if I'd actually wear it or not so I love that this watch combines a fitness tracker with a chic watch.
9 // When I was younger I always wanted a necklace with my name on it but unfortunately my name isn't overly popular so I could never find one. For awhile I got one that said Nicole (my middle name) but it just wasn't the same. When I saw this dainty, customized choker, I knew it was perfect for all the not so popular named girls like myself!
10 //  I'm all about anything cozy so when I saw this fleece while walking around Savannah a few weeks ago I immediately wanted it. I knew with the holidays coming up, I shouldn't splurge on it but I've seen so many bloggers rocking it that I can't help but to add it to my wish list.
11 // I have a thing for candles. I have them all over the house and during the cooler months you can find me burning at least one candle all weekend. These Homesick candles are perfect for someone who misses that little bit of home. As someone who was born in Ohio, lived in Kentucky and spent my summers in Maine and Alabama, there are a lot of things I miss about my childhood and those scents are one. The Maine candle would be perfect for those days I'm really missing my grandparents and my summers at their house in Bar Harbor.

Happy humpday babes! This has been a whirlwind week for me already. I apologize for my absence on Monday, if you follow me on Instagram, you might have noticed I took a quick little weekend trip up to Savannah. Don't worry, that full recap will be coming soon and I can honestly say that I will definitely be making other trips to Savannah soon! It was SO nice to get to experience some fall weather since we've still been mostly in the 80's here in Florida. 

Cooler weather meant I could FINALLY break out these over the knee boots I scooped up a few weeks ago on a major score at Nordstrom Rack. Like most every girl, I had been wanting the Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots for years now but just couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger on spending that much on them. When I saw them at Nordstrom Rack DEEPLY discounted I actually thought I was going to pass out but of course I scooped them up and have been dying to wear them ever since so when I saw temperatures in the 50's in Savannah I knew it was the perfect chance. I ended up wearing this outfit out for rooftop drinks before heading out to dinner. As you can tell, it was pretty windy and cloudy out, so I was a bit worried about being cold but these boots are well lined so they were actually incredibly warm and this sweater is definitely one of my favs currently. I was skeptical when I bought it since it's only $20 but it's even thicker than some of my Express sweaters that were considerably more. This was definitely one of my favorite outfits I wore out this weekend and I will be repeating it again as soon as it's cool enough down here!

I'll probably be radio silent the rest of the week. Novie has another chemo appointment tomorrow and we finally get the scan to find out if it's working or not so keep your fingers crossed for us tomorrow and I'll keep everyone updated! Hope everyone has a fantastic rest of the week!
