Happy Friday dolls! Sorry for my absence yesterday, it was the last day of our photo shoot for work and I really wanted to buckle down and get all the shoots we needed and try to get some bonus ones in. I can't wait to see the final results, the location was gorgeous and everyone worked really well together so I'm hoping they turned out amazing! After running around as much as I have the past three days I am totally ready for the weekend! Let's jump on into my Friday favorites, shall we?

So far I am obsessed! It's so gentle on my hair and I've noticed my hair shedding less since using it.

Happy Humpday lovelies! With the exception of Dublin (well technically NYC since we never actually made it to Dublin, if you missed it, read all about THAT adventure here)  I didn't have any definite vacation plans set. Every year we usually take a road trip to Key West for the 4th of July but after how unbelievably hot it was last year and the fact we're all getting older and that drive isn't quite as fun anymore, we decided to switch it up this year. Over multiple glasses of wine (and one margarita) Kerri and I decided that we should take a trip to Islamorada for a relaxing vacation this year and last week we officially booked it, now I have non stop swimwear on the brain! 

Lately I have been loving one piece swimsuits but I don't know how they'd fit on me. Usually when I buy a bikini the top and the bottom are definitely different sizes but you don't get that option when buying a one piece. Any suggestions from my one piece owners out there? Below are a few I'm definitely loving lately and might be picking up for my trip!

Happy Tuesday dolls! I'm going to be a bit MIA the next few days since I'll be offsite doing a photo shoot for work but I'll try to read and respond to comments when I get a break! I don't know about you but all the pictures of people at Coachella the past two weekends really made me want to go next year! It was extra hard for me since I had a friend out there who was snapping the most fun Snaps all weekend totally giving me FOMO (thanks Yass...). Since I couldn't be there I decided to rock a festival inspired outfit around town to compensate. Don't get me wrong, if I was actually at Coachella this definitely wouldn't be what I was wearing but since I'm on a no-spending month (4 more days!!! I'm not counting down or anything) I put together a quick outfit based off of what I already had in my closet to feel semi-festival ready. 

I got this kimono last year and wore it to many, many brunches then put it away for winter and was super excited to break it back out again. I love the flowy sleeves and the fun paisley pattern at the bottom. For this look I threw on a simple black tank (which happens to be one of my favorites!) and a pair of high wasited shorts. Because I was out running around I kept it simple with my super comfy DV espadrilles which I'm not too proud to say, I own in both colors! The DV line for Target is seriously killing it! I think I own 4 pairs of shoes from the line now... and each one is super comfy!

Happy Monday babes! Should I be saying "happy Monday"? Is any one every really "happy" it's Monday? Can you tell I'm not quite ready for the weekend to be over? I really don't have anything against Monday, I dislike Thursday more but any way... enough of that! I am out of the office another three days this week, tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday so if I'm slow to reply again, that's why! But for now, linking up with my girl Biana for our weekend recap!

Friday was a relaxing evening. I had an offsite meeting closer to home than my job so after work I grabbed a drink before heading home which I normally don't do on a Friday. After I got home it was pretty much the same as last weekend; dinner and catching up on The Detour in my pajamas.

Saturday morning I had planned on going to the gym but I was still pretty sore from my weekly gym sessions so instead I skipped out and had a delicious breakfast instead :) After that I just hung around the house for a bit and ran some errands before heading down to Earthday Birthday.


Earthday Birthday really isn't usually the type of event I would attend. It's a giant concert with a bunch of different bands and an eclectic crowd. I'm usually more of a Taylor Swift, Third Eye Blind or Nelly concert go-er so this was a huge change for me. But I got to see Bush, 311, Breaking Benjamin and more so it was pretty cool! Usually I have no problem forcing my way to the front but I stayed WAYYYY in the back to avoid the crazy mosh pitters but it was a lot more relaxed than I expected and the weather was amazing! Unfortunately I had to leave before 311 is over but they have a type of following that I just can't hang out with (if you catch my drift) so we hung out WAY in the back and rode some rides while listening instead of being in the middle of it all.


Sunday was a relax day. It was gorgeous weather so we spend some time outside enjoying the sunshine and warm weather before it gets too hot.

Happy Friday ya'll! Man this week dragged. At least for me, not sure how it was for you. Wednesday felt like Thursday, Thursday felt like Friday and now I'm just ready for the day to end so I can relax. I don't have a ton going on this weekend and I'm not sad about it. This week has been crazy busy and I'll be out of the office all this afternoon on you guessed it... another offsite meeting! So I'm just going to jump right into my Friday Favorites with Amanda so I can get this weekend started!

1 // I legit need this tank. Or this t-shirt. I'll take either and be extremely happy about it. If you can't tell I kinda have this obsession with mermaids. 

2 // I've used Megan Hess' illustrations multiple times on my blog since they're so cute so when I found out she had a cute coffee table book I almost jumped for joy. This one and this one are definitely on my must buy list as soon as my no spending month is over!

3 // One of these days I'm going to celebrate something (you know, like it being a day that ends in y) and buy this bracelet! 

4 // If you're taking a beach vacation any time soon or just plan on spending a lot of time outside this chapstick is a must take with you! It smells amazing, leaves your lips feeling really moisturized, is water resistant and has SPF in it! I wore it all summer last year and can't wait to pick it up again.

5 // Lately I want everything with tassels so when I made the mistake of going in Target the other day and saw this pillow I almost broke my no-spending rule. It's currently 10% off online but I'm trying to hold strong... just one more week!

Happy Friday eve babes! I don't know about you but I am very much so ready for the weekend. We're supposed to have gorgeous weather this weekend so I'm already dreaming about lounging by the pool. One of my favorite things about the summer and bikini season is all the cute cover-ups that keep you cool but still looking cute when you're out beach or pool side. This crochet cover-up from Tobi is absolutely perfect!
The gauzy material is lightweight and comfortable and the crochet peek-a-boo cutouts are sexy without showing off too much. It's actually extremely versatile too! I threw on a pair of jean shorts, tucked in the front of the dress and wore it as a top to run some errands and you never would have guessed it was actually a dress that I wore lounging by the pool earlier!

Happy Humpday! It's all downhill from here! Or something like that... I don't know about you but I am definitely ready for the weekend. Happy Tuesday loves! I don't know about you but I have been loving all things denim lately. I have even been on the hunt for some cute, denim shortalls to rock this spring/summer so when I came across this fun lace up denim dress from Tobi I knew I had to have it!  I kept this look pretty casual since as you can tell from these pictures, it was a bit of a rainy day. Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! I didn't end up in bed by 7 pm on Friday but I REALLY wish I would have. I think I'm still recovering from my long week last week but at least this week should be slower so I'm pretty excited about that! Although it would be nice to still be on the weekend. Alright, I'm going to jump right into my weekend recap with Biana so I can grab another cup of coffee... ;) 

 Friday went a little later than scheduled so I headed straight home after work and made a homemade pizza, curled up on the couch and watched The Detour. Has anyone else watched it yet? It's freaking hilarious. I hope it continues to be good!

Saturday morning I headed over to the Florida Cheese Festival (yup, it's a thing, don't judge me) for some cheese and wine devouring. I will seriously eat anything covered in cheese. Ok maybe not anything, but pretty close.

After the cheese festival I headed over to Melbourne for my former roommate and close friend's twin's birthdays. It was so nice getting to catch up with her and her family and play with the twins. 

Sunday me, Kerri and the boys headed down to Disney Animal Kingdom to enjoy the gorgeous weather and get some walking and rides in. The key to walking on rides, wait until about an hour before the park closes, then you can jump on every ride with no wait! We rode Expedition Everest twice in less than 10 mins!
