Happy Monday friends! Hope everyone had a fantastic Easter weekend! I'm jealous of all of you who had a 3-day weekend. I was thinking of you while I was ~~slaving away~~ working on Friday. ;) I can't really complain, the drive in was wide open roads, I got Starbucks for the first time in like 3 months and it was a fairly easy day. This week is looking like it's going to be pretty busy for me though so excuse my slow replies or possible absence. I have two offsite meetings this week, one on Thursday and one Friday so I'll probably be MIA both of those days. But for now, linking up with my bloggy bestie B for our weekend recap!

Like I said, Friday started out with a light drive in and Starbucks so it was a good morning. I had hoped to leave work a little early to beat the storms moving in but no such luck. I ended up heading out right at the tail end of a pretty crappy storm which meant over an hour drive home due to accidents and traffic for me. But by the time I got home it had cleared up and when we headed out to Dewey's Indoor Golf and Bar it was gorgeous out.

Saturday I woke up and enjoyed breakfast from Chick-fil-A for the first time in at least a month. After that I got ready and headed out to the Disney area with Kerri and the boys to watch our first (and last since there's only one more week) spring training game. We watched the Braves vs. the Mets and it ended up being SO hot out. The forecast called for rain but it was 93 and sunny so we left the game a little early to get some a/c.

After the game we headed over to Downtown Disney (yes, I know it's called Disney Springs now but it will forever be downtown Disney to me) for some food and lots of adult beverages.

Sunday we woke up early and headed over to Busch Gardens for some roller coasters and Third Eye Blind. 3EB was performing for Busch Gardens' Food and Wine Festival so we knew we had to go see them and Kerri had never been to BG before so why not?

We got to the concert area about an hour and 20 mins before the concert was scheduled to start to get a good spot and ended up being right on the fence behind the VIP section. While we were sitting there chatting a guy walks over and is like "you guys look like you want to play a game to win VIP tickets" so of course we played and ended up winning so hello VIP section! We weren't as close as the last time we saw them play but we were direct center about 6 rows back! If you follow me on Snapchat {pamelanicole84} I posted about a zillion snaps of the concert #sorrynotsorry Their hot drummer Brad played the most ridiculous solo (which you can watch below) and I'm convinced he needs to have a solo every concert. He is so freaking good, it's crazy!

It was definitely a busy but good (and very expensive!!) weekend.... but now I need a nap!

Save vs. Splurge

Happy Thursday my little peaches! I'm excited it's almost the weekend and I'm excited to be sharing with you some save versus splurge pieces I've found lately. Don't get me wrong, I love splurging on occasion, I mean, who doesn't? But when it's something that trendy or in style now but might not be next year I tend to try to save instead of splurge. If you're like me, well then lucky for us, there are a ton of great dupes out there. With spring and summer right around the corner I've been on the hunt for all the warm weather pieces so here are a few saves and splurges I've found so far!

1 // This fun twist front Vix bikini retails for $172 but is currently on sale for $137. What a steal right? Or you could just pick up the MAR by Vix dupe for under $50 since it's currently buy one get one half off! I mean, is it really even a dupe when it's technically made by the same company?

2 // I wanted these gorgeous Steve Madden huarache sandals last year but couldn't bring myself to spend over $100 on them so when I saw these dupes I knew I had to pick them up. And even better, they're extremely comfortable and are just over $30!

3 // I've been trying to get back on the workout train and what better way to do that than with cute workout clothes? I love Lululemon but ~~some~~ ok most of their stuff is pretty pricey. This sports bra is super cute but at almost $50 it's a little more than I want to spend. So when I came across this almost exact dupe from Forever 21 I scooped it up... in three colors!

4 // This Chloe Drew bag is absolutely gorgeous but at almost $2,000 it's definitely not in my budget right now! So when I saw this dv by Dolce Vita dupe at only $25... score!

5 // If you follow Roxy (from Rich Kids of Beverly Hills) on Snapchat (as well as a ton of other celebs) you'll notice she's been rocking these Dior Technologic sunnies a lot recently but honestly, I don't know how great they'd look on me so spending $560 on them is not realistic. These Free People dupes are a perfect way to rock the look at more than a fraction of the cost!

6 // By now you have probably seen every blogger under the sun post a variation of this bikini. They literally mass send them out and then your Instagram is filled with pictures making you want to jump on board too! Well now you can get the look for less! This bikini looks almost identical and is half the cost!
