Hello friends! While I am officially back from vacation (insert super sad emoji face here) I am actually flying to Miami today for work so I'll be MIA (haha get it, MIA...missing in action and MIA... the airport code for Miami) all day. I promise to catch up with everyone's blog posts when I get back but for now I'm sharing a bit of a weekend recap with B about my trip to Islamorada. Stay turned later for more a of a full recap but this will be a recap in pictures. Sorry for the picture overload but I took a million so of course I had to share some!
Happy Friday friends! Instead of my usual Friday Five post I'm just sharing just one favorite, Islamorada, which is currently where I am for the weekend! That view above is just one of the gorgeous views I'll be experiencing all weekend so be sure to follow along with me on Instagram and Snapchat {pamelanicole84} to see what we're up to and I will return on Tuesday! Hope everyone has an amazing and safe holiday weekend!
Hello my little cupcakes! My vacation is SO close I can taste it. Maybe that's why I started this post by calling you cupcakes... or maybe I'm just hungry but either way, I'm ready to be in vacation mode! Speaking of vacation, while doing some shopping for my trip I came across a bunch of new dupes I wanted to share with you. So without further adieu, here is my second installment of Save vs. Splurge!
1 // Tassels and pom poms are all the rage this year and these Elina Linardaki sandals are on every fashion blogger's feet. For those of us who don't want to spend almost $200 on them, I have good news! These dupes are equally as cute and under $100! They also come in black!
2 // These Karen Walker sunnies are everywhere and I totally understand why, they're timeless, chic and look good on everyone I've seen wear them! But at almost $300 they aren't realistic for everyone's budget so the fact that these dupes are equally as cute and under $15? Yes please!
3 // Fun beach bags are perfect for vacation and pool and beach days but the super cute ones (of course with the tassels and pom poms) can get expensive. This one is just over $100 which is a bit much for a beach bag which is why I love that you can buy the bag charm for $28 and attach it to an inexpensive Target tote and get the designer look for a fraction of the cost. And the best part? You can put the charm on anything to spice it up a little!
4 // Love this beach coverup but don't want to spend $160 on it? I don't blame you! What if I told you that you could get this one for under $25 and it comes in multiple colors!
Happy Tuesday dolls! It's only Tuesday but this week is already dragging for me. That always happens when you have something you're looking forward to at the end of the week, doesn't it? I just keep telling myself it will be here soon enough but I'm definitely starting to get anxious! Even though I already did all my vacation shopping, all of the sales that have been popping up this week in preparation for Memorial Day have me itching to do some more spending.
I'm trying to be good but when I saw that The Loft was having a 40% off all new arrivals and an extra 60% off all sale items I had to bite. Of course when I checked out the sale section the very first item that popped up for me was this shirt. I thought I got this shirt for a great deal when I got it for $30 a few weeks ago but now that it's on sale for less than $15, I might have to scoop it up in other colors! It's such a perfect casual top with a boho, feminine feel. The macrame lace gives it a bit of peek a boo detailing without being too revealing and I love the peplum bottom! I love the look of delicate items paired with destroyed denim so for this outfit I rocked my tomgirl jeans for a little more edge (and comfort) with a pair of comfy wedges. And now I have to keep myself from spending a fortune on new clothes right before a vacation, darn you tempting sales!

Happy Monday friends! The countdown is officially on. Yup, my vacation is officially THIS WEEK and I am so excited about it! So sorry in advance for the number of times I mention it this week but I don't take many vacations so when I do finally get one I get beyond super excited about it. Ok, enough with the vacation talk since it's still a few days away. Let's jump right in to my weekend recap with the lovely Biana, shall we?
Friday morning I woke up earlier than usual so I was pretty tired and ready to crash after work. I came home, made baked buffalo chicken tacos and watched The Detour before heading to bed. Nothing overly exciting which really isn't any surprise for me on Friday night!
Saturday morning I woke up early (as usual, why oh why can't I sleep in?!) and headed up to the gym. After the gym we headed out to the mall to do some shopping. This was the first time in forever I spent hours shopping and of course I failed to take a single picture but I did get some fun things for my trip!
After shopping and dealing with the crowds and long check out lines it was time for a drink and some sustenance so we headed up to WOB to get some beer and watch The Preakness. My horse won so I was super excited! Go Exaggerator!!
Sunday morning I ran some errands before heading over to Kerri's for some pool time. We're trying to get our base tans going so we don't turn into lobsters on our beach vacation not to mention a little relaxing by the pool is good for the soul. With champagne of course :)
After the pool we headed in, got cleaned up and then walked over to Santiago's Bodega for their happy hour. On Saturdays and Sundays they do brunch in the mornings and then half priced drinks and $5 tapas for happy hour, such a great deal! After some sangria, some tapas and a few rounds of Cards Against Humanity we called it a night.
Hope everyone has a fantastic week! I'll be sitting here anxiously awaiting Friday!
Yay Friday! This time next week I will be on my first vacation of the year and I am so excited and ready. I finally have a fairly relaxing weekend planned and I'm super excite about it, so hurry up 5 o'clock so I can go sit on my couch and relax! Does anyone have any fun plans this weekend? Ok enough small talk, jumping into my Friday Favorites with Amanda.
1 // This shirt is seriously perfect. I love the crisscross detail, the loose fit and low back... I even love that it'd be perfect with a super cute bralette peeking out!
2 // You may have seen these on my Instagram last weekend, well...the dv for Target line does it again. Obsessed with these fun wrap sandals and their mixed patterns and they're super comfy! My only complaint is I can't figure out whether to tie them in the back or front!
3 // This clutch is definitely on my upcoming birthday wishlist! It looks JUST like a Clare V clutch but at a fraction of the price!
4 // The NARS summer lip colors are so gorgeous but I am especially digging this bright orangy-red for summer! It's such a flattering color and I love that they made this lipgloss with Vitamin E to help moisturize your lips while out in the sun.
5 // I am definitely getting a pool float for our vacation. This pineapple one is so cute but I don't want to take up TOO much room in our pool so I'm also loving this one and this one. What do you think?
Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!

Happy humpday lovelies! With summer right around the corner I've been on the hunt for some refreshing cocktails to sip on by the pool, on the patio, or pretty much any place really. I'm a big fan of sangria but the red sangria can be a little heavy for me (especially when it's super hot out) and sometimes I just want to switch it up from the regular white. I am definitely a rosé all day kinda girl so when I saw a recipe for rosé sangria I knew I had to try it out!
Rosé is the perfect mix of light, bubbly, semi-sweetness that I can enjoy glass after glass and it's pink. How can you not enjoy drinking something that's pink? And how can you make rosé even better? Ok, that was a trick question but the answer I was looking for was more booze, some yummy fruit and ice of course! This recipe is super easy to make, extremely delicious and will make you extremely popular among your friends... if you're willing to share that is!
Ingredients
- 1 cup sliced lime
- 2 cups sliced strawberries
- 1 sliced orange
- 1 bottle rosé
- 1 cup Grand Marnier or Cointreau
- 1 cup sparkling water
- 1-2 tablespoons of sugar or simple syrup (Optional. I usually skip this and opt for a tad sweeter rosé)
Instructions
- Pour the rosé into a pitcher
- Add the Grand Marnier/Cointreau, fresh fruit and sparkling water
- Taste for sweetness, if it needs to be sweeter add in sugar/simple syrup
- Refrigerate the sangria for a few hours before serving
- Serve over ice
- Garnish with additional fruit if desired
On Wednesday's we drink pink ;)
Happy Tuesday dolls! Hope everyone's week is off to a fabulous start! Whenever I see palm print it always makes me feel like I should be on vacation at a resort somewhere tropical. It has such a relaxed island vibe but is still chic enough to be worn in the city. With my upcoming vacation to The Keys I've been on the hunt for everything palm print.
This romper is perfect to take from day to night, just switch up the accessories and shoes and you're good to go! I actually wore this same romper on my girl's trip to Charleston last year when we went out exploring the city and doing a blogger brunch but since it was extremely hot and we were doing a lot of walking I kept that outfit casual. This time I decided to dress it up a bit and make it more "spring appropriate". Since it was a bit cooler out and the romper is strapless I threw on my denim jacket to keep from getting chilly. I topped off my look with my favorite neutral sandals, some minimal accessories and a fun gold belt to really accentuate the waist. I have to admit, I was super excited when I put on this romper after having it in the back of my closet for fall and winter to find that it actually fit looser than the last time I wore it! Major score!

Happy Monday lovelies! Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! I had every intention of relaxing this weekend since I had such a busy weekend with my parents visit the weekend before but it didn't exactly work out that way. I can't complain though, I had a blast, got to meet up with an old friend and got some Disney time in! On that note, let's just jump into my weekend recap with Biana!
Friday I headed home after work to eat dinner and change before heading back out and down to City Walk to meet up with one of my best friends from college. We were partners in crime throughout our college years and immediately after until she moved away so I was super excited to get to see her! We ended up grabbing some adult beverages and playing putt putt and all around just goofing off like usual.
Saturday morning I woke up and decided to hit up the gym. I've been on a major workout kick lately! I think our upcoming beach vacation has me pumped to get pumped ha! After the gym I got cleaned up and headed down to Disney with Kerri and the boys for a day at Epcot and Hollywood Studios. I was lucky enough to get to run into my friend again at Epcot!
