Happy Humpday dolls! It's all down here from here, right? I got my hair done last night so I didn't get home until later than usual so I'm dragging a bit today. Of course I pick the one week to get my hair done that it's like 100% chance of rain every day until next Monday. Oh well, c'est la vie. Speaking of hair appointments, does anyone else have to keep a planner with them to keep track of all of your appointments and meetings? If you're like me, you work life, personal life and blogging life tend to all get jumbled together and it can be hard to keep track of everything. Staying organized is extremely important for me (I blame it on my OCD tendencies) so it's great having cute accessories to help keep your life on track.

Blue Sky has the best notebooks, planners and calendars to not only help keep you on schedule but look cute doing it and best part? They launched a Target collection! The have several different sized planners and the colors and patterns are perfect. I also love them because they aren't Jan-Dec, these are June 2016 - July 2017 so you can pick them up in the middle of the year and not lose any time.

Since I'm really into gold and white right now (and you all know how I feel about stripes) the gold striped one was my favorite. The touches of blue on the inside also made it perfect for me. I love that it not only has the full calendar view, it also breaks it out by week so you can fill in everything you have going on per week and still have enough room for notes. The pink one is perfect for throwing in your purse on the go. It's small enough to take with you any where and not be bulky but it also has plenty of room to keep track of everything. The blue patterned one is perfect for work. It's large enough to take extensive notes (it even has it's own fairly large note section in the back!) and has enough room to fit all of my meetings, which sometimes can be 5-6 per day! Weekending + A Giveaway

Happy Monday dolls! Another weekend gone by way too quickly. It was a good one though and I'm one weekend closer to my next vacation so I can't complain. And this week is currently scheduled to be less crazy than last week so that's always a plus! Is it ever a bad week when you have a hair appointment scheduled? I didn't think so. Let's get into my weekend recap with Biana, shall we?

Friday night was super low key. I got to leave work a little early so I went home, did my nails and read The Royal We for a bit. After making dinner we decided to run out and rent a movie and get some ice cream. The rest of the night was spent curled up on the couch with my pup and a movie and I ended up in bed by like 11 pm. Not a bad Friday in my opinion!

Saturday morning I woke up with a headache (nope, I didn't drink anything the night before so it wasn't alcohol related, just bad luck) so I spent the morning relaxing a bit before heading downtown to do some fashion shots for the blog this week. It was supposed to rain but instead it was insanely hot out. I gave up trying to look cute (the sweat and humidity killed my makeup and hair) so we headed to WOB to grab a beer.

Of course as luck would have it right as we finished our beer and were heading back to the car the skies opened up and it began POURING out. We got completely drenched running back to the car (which was over a mile away) but it was definitely an experience.

After we got home and cleaned up we headed out to meet up with Kerri at a new local brewery, Ten 10. You know you're old when you have to stop and get Starbucks on your way out for the evening and you're going out at 8 pm! LOL! Loved the brewery and the beer but it's crazy loud in there due to lack of insulation and it got pretty hot so we cashed out and headed over to one of our other go-to's, Matador.

Darts and Dark 'n' Stormys happened at Matador as they almost always do. After a few rounds of darts (and Kerri and I FINALLY winning) we called it a night.

Sunday was extremely uneventful which was fine by me! I went to the pool for a bit to even out my tan since I haven't even put on a bikini since Key West and I've been peeling like crazy. After the pool I came in, read some more of The Royal We, went grocery shopping and even took a nap! That's a good Sunday right there. Minus the grocery shopping, not my favorite.

Happy Humpday lovelies! Hope everyone is having a fantastic week so far! Me? I've got travelling on the brain. So much so that I actually had an entire different blog post scheduled for today and I rescheduled it and wrote this one instead! I don't do nearly as much travelling as I'd like, although every time I do travel I get super sad about leaving my pup behind so maybe that's part of the reason, but with my trip to Charleston just around the corner I'm starting to think about what I need to pack! Me, Amanda and Biana leave for Charleston in exactly two weeks tomorrow and I couldn't be more excited to get a nice long weekend with these ladies and meet some Charleston bloggers I've felt like I've known for ages but never actually met before!

So in the spirit of travel and my upcoming mini vacation I decided to share with you my travel essentials and maybe you can share some of yours with me!

1 // A good weekend bag is a definite necessity for a weekend getaway. Loving this gold dipped striped one!

2 // I cannot go outside without sunglasses unless it's raining so sunglasses are a huge must for me. These are so cute and on super sale! I think Biana might actually even have these!

3 // Evian spray is a must after a plane ride to refresh. 'Nuff said there!

4 // The same goes for a good chapstick/lip balm. The air on an airplane is so not good for the skin and my lips always end up getting dry.

5 // Since I'm not checking a bag a rollerball perfume is perfect for a carry on and it makes it easy to touch up after the flight. My girl Kerri has me hooked on this scent!

6 // Good headphones are a must-have on an airplane. If your neighbor decides to strike up a convo with you and you're not feeling it you can just pop these in and call it a day! I've been lusting over these for over a year and for that price I might have to give in!

7 // I mean, does this even need an explanation? Of course you need a kick ass camera while on vacation! This isn't my current camera but I'm seriously lusting after this one.

8 // I don't go anywhere without a hair tie so this one isn't really fair but especially needed on an airplane. If I'm going to try to take a nap I need to put my hair up and sometimes you get stuck on the tarmac for awhile and it can get a little hot waiting to take off.

9 // Hello iPad! Just in case you want to do a little reading, social media stalking or just simply playing games! And how freaking cute is that case?

10 // A cute makeup bag isn't really a must but I mean... it's so adorable! How can you say no?

11 // Last but not least... a great purse that can transition from day to night and not take up too much space. RM bags are definitely my favorite for that and it's on sale!
