Happy Tuesday loves! In my defense, I totally warned you last week I'm obsessed with stripes. Although now that I think of how many striped pieces I have in my closet I'm beginning to think I might have a problem... ok, who am I kidding? Stripes are far from a problem! :) But I can say, I am TOTALLY obsessed with this dress. I wore it out in Key West with my Jack Rogers, I've worn it to work with a blazer and heels, I've worn it out for drinks with a denim jacket and booties, I've even worn it with my Chuck Taylors... it is seriously the most versatile dress I own, hands down. Not to mention the most comfortable.
I'm not going to lie, this is actually the third time I have taken pictures in this dress and every time I'm not 100% satisfied with how they turn out. This time is no exception. It was SO unbelievably hot out when I took these pictures and my hair went completely flat from the humidity and the sweat (when will I learn that I live in FL, doing your hair is pointless during the summer) and my makeup... well lets just say I had none on by the time I finished. But like I said, the dress seriously goes with everything so I decided to rock it with my new Sam Edelman heels which are insanely comfy. I kept everything else pretty simple because like I said... hot. And I'm one of those people where when I'm hot the less touching me the better!

    You are beating the heat in this dress- love the swing it has! I know what you mean about shooting a piece and then not loving the results, too. Just last week I put together an outfit I loved on, but once I started looking at the photos I was like, "Noooooo nevermind." Haha.

    How cute is this dress! It looks so light and airy, perfect for that super hot weather. I can see why you'd want to wear it all the time. Isn't it the best when you find such a versatile, "go anywhere" piece? Ah and I don't know how you do it, keep your hair long in Florida. I'm about ready to chop mine off, it's just too much.

    THIS is a Charleston outfit, girl. Perfect for the summer any way you put it though, and I love how you could just add a jean jacket/blazer for fall (can you tell I'm beyond over this heat!?).
