Happy almost Friday loves! I am kind of in shock tomorrow is the last day of July. I really feel like this month flew by but I also feel like June was SO long ago. The heat definitely is out in full effect so I know August is right around the corner. Lately I've been shopping for my upcoming Charleston trip so when I saw these shorts on mega sale at Zara I knew I had to have them. I love the suede, the scalloped hemline and the laser cut outs. Oh and did I mention they have pockets? Everything about them is perfect...except I underestimated how hot suede would be in the heat and humidity.
Even paired with a plain, basic tank it was still incredibly warm in these shorts so I don't know if they'll be making the trek to Charleston with me but I can't wait for cooler temperatures because I think they'll look great with booties and a jacket. They really are the softest shorts ever and they're so comfortable. This was basically the look I had in mind for sightseeing on vacation so just in case it doesn't come with me, I decided to show you now! It's a pretty simple and easy look which I love, especially for traveling. I decided to throw on a floppy hat because
my hair looked horrible and my grays were out in full force who doesn't love a fun hat? Plus it added a little something extra since everything else was so minimal. To add a pop of color I threw on my go-to Kendra Scott Elisa necklace and I topped off my look with my Jack Rogers.
