Happy Wednesday dolls! I don't know about any one else but after a short week like last week, this week seems like it is seriously dragging. Last week this was our Friday but now we still have two more days to go and I am definitely feeling it. And it doesn't help that I've been just as busy this week as I have previous weeks despite not launching our site yet. I was hoping this week would be slow but no such luck!
Ok, enough work talk! I feel like all I've been talking about lately is work but with all the sales this weekend I had fall fashion on the brain. It's still incredibly warm here on most days so I haven't been able to enjoy too many fall trends but off the shoulder and cold shoulder things are definitely top on my list! I bought this top towards the end of spring and only got to wear it once before it got to hot out to wear so I was super excited when I saw it was back in stock this fall! It was just cool enough on Thanksgiving to break it out again and I took full advantage. I really wanted to wear something super comfy on Thanksgiving so I could eat all the food but I still wanted to look put together and this top was the perfect choice. I paired the top with a pair of white jeans but to dress it up a bit I topped off my look with my comfy black heels.

Happy Monday friends! I hope everyone had a fantastic long weekend. Did any one do any crazy Black Friday shopping? I bought a few things online but that was it, I'm not one to brave the crowds or go out at crazy times. I prefer shopping from the comfort of my own home! But it was nice to have a long, relaxing weekend despite some fun social media drama on Friday involving my work. You may or may not have noticed I have a new blogger header today! When I have too much free time on my hands I have a tendency to play with my blog design and this was the result of spending an entire day just watching tv! Still not sure if I'll keep it or make something different but it's a fun switch up for now. Ok, enough chit chat, let's jump into my weekend recap with Biana!

We spent Thanksgiving at home relaxing and making a small meal. It was nice to not have to travel or have an commitments. We didn't make a ton of food but what we did make was delicious and definitely made my belly happy!

Friday was spent cleaning and putting up our Christmas tree. I also spent hours upon hours some time watching The Royals in preparation of it's return! As mentioned earlier, we had a bit of a social media blow up on one of my work social media pages. To put a long story short, two women were trying to purchase a highly allocated item that we were limiting one per person on but they wanted more than one, we refused and they went to a mommy blogger group on Facebook to tell people we discriminate against women and refused to sell to them (which was not true since we did sell to them, just not the amount they wanted). The other women in the mommy blogger group then went to our Facebook page and attacked us. After dealing with that it was time for some drinks so we headed over to Chuy's for some margaritas and nachos!

Saturday (can we just stop here to appreciate how awesome a long weekend is?!) was spent disappointingly watching football. UCF played our in state rival and as we expected, it was an ugly game.  Later that evening we headed over to Kate's for a game night and to see little Miss Serena! I met her briefly while I was working in the store on Wednesday but I was excited to get to see here when I could actually stop and appreciate her cuteness.

Hey babes! I am SO sorry I've been so absent in the blogging world this week. I don't remember last year being quite as busy as it has been this year but let's just say it's only Wednesday morning and I've already put in 19 hours (in the office) and I'm helping out in a store today so this week has been hectic. I'm taking tomorrow and Friday off (from blogging and work) so I can relax, get caught up on things and enjoy Thanksgiving but I wanted to share some of my favorite under $50 gift ideas with you!

3 // I love candles. I have them all over the house and in my office, I just can't get enough! I also love Prosecco so when I saw this Prosecco Rose candle I knew I had to have it! I'm also extremely intrigued about the Bourbon Vanille scent and for under $20 I don't feel bad picking up both!

4 // This Bobbi Brown lip and eye palette is such a steal! With a lip gloss and several eye shadows it has everything you need to look gorgeous for the holidays. And the shimmer eye shadows can double as a highlighter in a pinch!

5 // Have you been lusting after a Clare V. foldover clutch but not over the price? This clutch is super similar to this Clare V. one but at a fraction of the price!

6 // I am a huge fan of the Fresh Sugar lip treatments so this set is definitely on my wish list. The Rose is one of my favorite colors and the Poppy seems perfect for any season. Even though these are the minis they still last a long time!

7 // My skin is always dry in the cooler months so I try to keep a mini hand lotion with me at all times. Laura Mercier makes the most amazing lotions that not only smell amazing but leave your skin feeling like silk so this gift set is perfect! The Ambre Vanille is one of my favorite scents and I'm really curious about the Almond Coconut Milk one!

8 // I'm not a huge eye mask person but part of me wonders if it wouldn't help me sleep in a little more? This one is so cute I'm definitely willing to give it a try!
9 // How gorgeous is this marble cell phone case? Sadly I still have the iPhone 6 but it's definitely top on my list for a case when I upgrade, I love everything marble!
10 // I love my Shashi Lilu bracelet and this one would be the perfect addition to my little arm party. I love the colors (hello UCF colors!) and it's super dainty.

Happy Tuesday dolls! I cannot believe Thanksgiving is two days away! With my job being so crazy the past few weeks we decided to keep it low key this year and stay and home and maybe do some brewery hopping after dinner so I'm definitely looking forward to relaxing for a few days. We finally got some cooler weather this weekend and while it's supposed to be back up in the low 80's this weekend, I definitely have been taking advantage of the sweater weather!

There is nothing I love more about cooler weather than big, cozy sweaters and this one has been on major repeat lately. Every cool-ish day we get I immediately pull this sweater out of my closet because it's one of the most comfortable sweaters I own and it looks great with everything! I wore this outfit out on Saturday when I did some shopping and when the weather was warmer in the afternoon but cooler in the morning and evening. I love pairing sweaters with shorts for that summer to fall (or in our case here in FL, summer to winter!) transition. It's definitely perfect for those warmer fall days!

Happy Monday friends! Today was supposed to be launch day for my new sites at work but Friday afternoon we made the call to push the launch back so it's a little bittersweet for me today. I'm not as tired as I would have been had we launched this morning BUT it also means I have two more weeks of busy weeks before things calm down again for me. At least I had a good and fairly relaxing weekend and this week is a short one. Let's hop on in to my weekend recap with B, shall we?

Friday was a extremely busy day at work so I was pretty exhausted by the end of the day. I headed home, made dinner and then relaxed with a bottle of wine and watched Now You See Me 2. It wasn't as good as the first but it was still pretty good!

Saturday I braved the constant crowds of the outlets and did some Christmas shopping. I got quite a few things including a new purse for myself... whoops! I originally was going to get myself a Louis Vuitton to celebrate the launch but I couldn't decide between the Neverfull and the Speedy and not to mention the launch has been delayed... What do you guys think? Any preference?

After shopping we had a late lunch at Tom + Chee which is one of my favorite quick restaurants from Cincinnati. I indulged in WAY too much red cream soda and a delicious Italian grilled cheese before heading over to a friend's house for a bonfire. 

Sunday was brunch day! Kerri, the boys and I all headed out to TR Fire Grill for unlimited mimosas and yummy brunch food. Then we bar hopped around Winter Park before heading home and calling it a night.

Happy Friday babes! Hope everyone had a fantastic week! I am SO ready for the weekend. This week has been absolutely crazy. At the beginning of the week I had really hoped this week would be slower than last but it was definitely the opposite. I cannot wait for the end of the day so I can go home, curl up on the couch and just relax. As of right now we're looking to launch my huge project I've been working on this Monday so my fingers are crossed next week will actually be calmer.You know what always puts me in a better mood? Sharing some of my favs, so let's jump right into that!

 1 // I finally decided to give in and try a satin pillowcase to help with my hair (and skin). I picked up this one thanks to Amazon Prime and so far I love it! It was rated one of the top satin pillowcases by InStyle magazine, you can't beat the price and my favorite thing? They have travel sized ones!

2 //  I also decided to give Frank Coffee Scrub a try and while I've only used it twice so far, I'm sold! This stuff seriously makes your skin feel like silk, it's super hydrating and it smells so amazing I almost want to eat it! I will say, it's extremely messy though, you have been warned!

3 // I am seriously loving this dress! The colors and the pattern are so fun and I love the dropped waist which is almost always flattering on. This dress would also make for the perfect Thanksgiving outfit paired with some cute booties!

4 // I LOVE Express Portofino shirts. They're perfect for work, play and pretty much everything in between and the are super easily dressed up and down. So when I saw Express is having a pre-Black Friday sale through Monday and they're all on sale for $19.90 or $29.90 I immediately jumped on that.

5 // I've been wanting a faux suede baseball cap in camel and I finally found the perfect one! Be prepared to be seeing this hat on a more regular basis. I love anything that's cute and can hide my bad hair days!

Happy Humpday friends! Hope everyone is having a fabulous week so far. My new employee starts tomorrow so I've been trying to get stuff done and get everything set up for her start and the rest of my week will be busy training her and getting everything settled. It's absolutely crazy to me that next week is already Thanksgiving, where did this month go? We're still not getting a lot of "fall" weather here. It's nice and cool in the mornings but but the afternoon we're in the low 80's or high 70's so when I went to EDC two weeks ago being cool and comfortable was a definite must!

If you read my blog post about EDC last week you already heard that most people wear crazy costumes or as little as possible to EDC but that just isn't really my thing so I decided to wear something I felt comfortable in. At first I wasn't sold on the bodysuit trend but I finally decided to venture out and get one and if it fits right, they are actually insanely comfortable and look great on! I picked the one I wore to EDC up at a local boutique and I loved the low scoop back with the crossed straps. Since it's still pretty warm during the day I paired it with a pair of comfy cut off denim shorts and layered with a button up flannel just in case it got a bit chilly at night. I topped off my look a wrap choker, a pair of comfy leopard slides that I didn't mind if they got a little dirty and of course my flash Ray-Ban aviators! Even though I felt a bit overdressed I was still comfortable and had a blast! Not pictured here are the fun floral cat ears I also wore which definitely made me feel more festival appropriate.

Happy Monday friends! I don't know why but I am not quite ready to start the week. I didn't have a particularly late evening last night but I just feel like the weekends are not nearly long enough. I have a new employee starting this week which should take some of the pressure off me but I have a feeling this week might be a little busy until she gets trained in. Starting my weekend on Thursday because I headed to my first NHL game Thursday after work. We had club seats so we had a blast eating and drinking all the things and the Lightning won!

Friday I worked a long day from home and ended up just making dinner at home before calling it a night.

Saturday we were up bright and early for our final UCF home game of the season. We have one more game left but next weekend we can't go so it was fitting my last UCF home game was my first time watching UCF play Cincinnati (my home town).

Sunday after some errands, we met up with Kerri for our annual corn maze in Mt. Dora. After we found our way out (in about 30 mins, yeah, we're awesome like that!) we headed to downtown Mt. Dora for some drinks. I have to admit, I love Mt. Dora! It's such a cute little city!

I'm super tired this morning from the Lightning game last night but I had a blast and luckily it's my work from home day so I'm enjoying my coffee in my pj's while working this morning. I'll get dressed eventually but for now... comfort is key! Although I really wish I was enjoying that champs and croissants in bed right now... ha! So, today marks the day beauty junkies have been waiting for (at least if you're only a VIB, like me, instead of a VIB Rouge member) the Sephora VIB sale! So instead of my normal Friday Five post, today I'm being super original (yes, I'm being sarcastic) and I'm sharing some of my favorites from the VIB sale!

 1 // I've been waiting to buy this Anastasia Liquid Lipstick and the Anastasia Glow Kit. The Pure Hollywood and Allison lip colors are two colors that look amazing on any skin tone and the glow kit is perfect for that perfect sexy glow.
2 // I wasn't an initial fan of the Glam Glow products but they've definitely grown on me! The THIRSTYMUD hydrating treatment is one of my favorites, especially during these colder, drier months so this kit is definitely a must have!
3 // B has me hooked on buying rollerball perfumes instead of full sized and I am obsessed with the Elizabeth and James scents. So far the Black is my favorite, especially for fall and winter but the Bourbon smells amazing too!
4 // I've been on the brink of giving up my Clarisonic for  Foreo but I've heard so many varying opinions I keep going back and forth. The Foreo Luna Play is perfect for anyone who wants to give the Foreo a try without the price commitment. This portable option is not rechargable so it's only good for a certain number of uses but at only $40 before the 20% off discount it's worth checking out!
5 // The Mara Hoffman for Sephora Flawless Airbrush is already on sale and super cute! I have been looking for a new foundation brush and for the price I'm definitely giving this one a try.
6 // IT Cosmetics have become my go-to for most everything lately. I will definitely be stocking up on this moisturizer, this lip treatment and  my favorite finishing powder!
7 // Last but not least, I will absolutely be stocking up on the Sephora Face masks! These are so perfect for a quick facial at home while watching tv. I try to use one of these at least once a week.

If you're a first timer to Electric Daisy Carnival, or any electronic dance music festival, it can be a bit overwhelming. Even before you get in you tend to see a lot of crazy outfits, interesting signs and just all around fascinating sights but once you get in, it's like sensory overload. Daytime at EDC is an magical but nighttime at EDC is unreal. Imagine walking into a neon dream with bigger than life creatures, music that will literally shake your insides and a landscape that looks like it could only belong in a fantasy land. That my friends, is EDC.

If you're planning on attending EDC in the future here are 5 things you should know (and lots of pictures) before you go!
1. Make sure you have a valid ID. Not only can you not buy alcohol but you have to be 18+ to get into EDC and they check ID when they check your ticket. No ID, no entry. Even if you aren't planning on drinking.
2. Wear comfortable shoes. This seems like a no brainer but you really don't realize how much you walk and how fast you might walk to get from one stage to the other. I wasn't even there the whole day and I managed to clock just over 4 miles. And your shoes WILL get dirty.
3. Figure out transportation ahead of time. 5k or so people in one area can create a lot of traffic. And most of the parking lots in the area were $20-$30 per day so whether you carpool, Uber or use public transportation, figure out your plans ahead of time so you don't show up later than planned or spend hours after trying to figure out how to get home.
4 . There's no such thing as being too "over the top" at EDC. I didn't really have a lot of time to plan my outfit so I just wore a black backless bodysuit, jean shorts and black flower cat ears and I was overdressed. Most girls were walking around in bedazzled bikinis, bikini tops and tutus, even as little as a g-string and pasties. Anything goes at EDC and the less clothes you have on, the more you blend in.
5. Water is free. It's hot out, your dancing and having fun, it's easy to get dehydrated but EDC has free water stations throughout the event. You can bring in your own water bottle as long as it's an Official Insomniac water bottle or a Camelbak style hydration pack. Don't have an Insomniac water bottle? They have them for sale for $10 throughout the event and they're stainless.


And most importantly, if you go have fun and take it all in!
