Festival

Happy Humpday friends! Hope everyone is having a fabulous week so far. My new employee starts tomorrow so I've been trying to get stuff done and get everything set up for her start and the rest of my week will be busy training her and getting everything settled. It's absolutely crazy to me that next week is already Thanksgiving, where did this month go? We're still not getting a lot of "fall" weather here. It's nice and cool in the mornings but but the afternoon we're in the low 80's or high 70's so when I went to EDC two weeks ago being cool and comfortable was a definite must!
If you read my blog post about EDC last week you already heard that most people wear crazy costumes or as little as possible to EDC but that just isn't really my thing so I decided to wear something I felt comfortable in. At first I wasn't sold on the bodysuit trend but I finally decided to venture out and get one and if it fits right, they are actually insanely comfortable and look great on! I picked the one I wore to EDC up at a local boutique and I loved the low scoop back with the crossed straps. Since it's still pretty warm during the day I paired it with a pair of comfy cut off denim shorts and layered with a button up flannel just in case it got a bit chilly at night. I topped off my look a wrap choker, a pair of comfy leopard slides that I didn't mind if they got a little dirty and of course my flash Ray-Ban aviators! Even though I felt a bit overdressed I was still comfortable and had a blast! Not pictured here are the fun floral cat ears I also wore which definitely made me feel more festival appropriate.
bodysuit: sophie & trey // button up shirt: american eagle // shorts: american eagle // sneakers: american eagle {old, similar here} // sunglasses: ray-ban // choker: sophie & trey // watch: michael kors // lips: mac in kinda sexy

ReplyDeleteI think this is the perfect festival look - I've heard of some of the crazy outfits that are worn...or should I say pieces of cloth that hide certain body parts LOL!! I bet the cat ears were super cute! xo, biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteThis is exactly the kind of thing I'd wear to a festival! I would definitely be uncomfortable in something crazy like lime green faux fur leg warmers... which I've seen people wear to festivals. The cat ears are so cute too!
