Happy humpday babes! I definitely prefer last week when Wednesday was only the second day of the work week. This week seems to be dragging by but I won't complain since it's all downhill from here. It's currently looking like we might have some nice weather this weekend so I'm super excited for some potential pool/beach time or just being outside in general. As you can probably tell from these pictures, it's been cloudy yet still bright around these parts lately so I'm ready for the sunshine state to go back to being the sunshine state. 

At least I have this cute little floral top to bring a little sunshine into my day. I used to hate floral print but lately I've been loving it. At least certain floral prints. We all know I'm a sucker for off the shoulder tops so it really shouldn't be surprising that this little number came home with me. It's so lightweight and perfect for summer which is good since we've already had heat indexes in the 90's. I have a feeling it's going to be a brutal summer so if you have a Florida vacation planned in the next few months... consider yourself warned!

Oh hey hump day, nice of you to join us! It's not like this has been a bad week or anything, it just seems to be dragging a bit more than usual. Maybe because there's a small part of me that's dreading this weekend. And I know what you're thinking, who dreads the weekend, right? Well for those who might have forgotten, this weekend is daylight savings weekend so we lose an hour which makes my early mornings extremely rough for about the first week or two after the time change. Don't get me wrong, I'm super excited for the daylight later but it's rough starting my morning commute in the dark again. Ok, enough complaining about the time change, let's talk about how excited I am for spring fashion again. 

This past weekend was absolutely gorgeous here in Florida. 70 degree weather, sunny without a cloud in the sky, a slight breeze and low humidity. As much as I love living here, we get very few truly perfect days and this weekend we got two so of course I enjoyed as much of it as I could outside. I wore this outfit out for drinks for a friend's birthday and it was perfect for the warm day and slightly cooler evening. This top combines all of my favorite things; peplum, floral print and ruffles. And did I mention it's perfect for hiding a bit of a food (or beer) baby? Of course I paired it with my favorite jeans. I'm sure you guys are getting sick of seeing these jeans by now since I wear them pretty much 24/7 (don't worry, I have them in 3 colors and wash them regularly!) but they are so comfy and look cute with everything so I just can't not wear them! So... sorry not sorry?

Hey Wednesday! Oh how I wish it were actually Friday and not Wednesday but the week is half over today so I'll take it. Although when does anyone not wish it were Friday, am I right? My mind is completely blown that this is the last week of September. I love all the things fall/October brings so I'm definitely ready for it. I've already started embracing some fall trends and fall floral is definitely one of them. 

I'm not usually much of a floral print person but I love the darker floral prints that usually come about in fall. If you look in my closet you'll see that there isn't a whole lot of color, in fact I recently bought two pink shirts bringing my overall pink closet total to 4 things. Crazy right? So every time I buy a floral print I actually am a little proud of myself that I'm adding something other than black, gray or white. That's why I immediately scooped up this top when I saw it. Off the shoulder, flowy and the perfect fall floral print, how could I not have it? I first wore this top out to brunch with Kerri a few weeks ago but we were having such a good time we failed to take any pictures so when I wore it out again this weekend I knew I had take some pictures in it before it was sold out. It looks great with jeans and shorts and I love that it's dressy enough to go out to a nice dinner but casual enough to wear out for drinks. I can honestly say that this top will be a staple in my closet this fall!

I'm going to start today's post off with a naked truth. I don't really like pink. Sometimes I feel like the only girl in the world who is not a fan of pink but it's true. I dislike the color pink. I usually do everything I can to avoid wearing it and if you ever looked in my closet (which happens to be organized by color...thank you OCD for that one) you'd notice that my "pink section" is pretty much absent but for some reason when I saw this shirt I totally fell in love with it. 

I went back and forth more times than I care to admit before finally caving and buying this top but I finally convinced myself that this baby/blush pink isn't obnoxious pink so I could wear it. I ended up wearing it out for my birthday brunch and I couldn't have been happier with it. The ruffled detail, tie shoulders and the flowy crop top made it absolutely perfect and I felt flirty and feminine without feeling too pink. Maybe one day I'll get over my aversion to pink but I won't hold my breathe. Until then, baby steps ;)

Ok, it's official. This girl needs to do a serious detox after her birthday/4th of July weekend. Don't get me wrong, I had such a blast celebrating and it was nice taking a social media break but I definitely ate/drank way more than I usually do and I'm feeling it today. I tried to balance it out by going to the gym a few times over the weekend but I will definitely be hitting the gym extra hard this week to try to make up for it.  Please tell me I'm not the only one who over indulged a little?
You may remember this outfit from when Kerri and I went to see Third Eye Blind back in the beginning of June, well I'm finally sharing it just in time for the top to be on major sale! When I was picking an outfit for the concert I was anticipating the rain so I tried to pick something that would be comfy and cute but also not become see through from standing out in the rain and hopefully dry fast. This ended up being the perfect top for that, especially since as I anticipated, we got soaked. Luckily Kerri and I are the best at making any situation fun, so in typical "us" fashion; we sat in her car, jamming out to music and sipping on Sofia before being forced to get out and endure the torrential downpour pretty much forgoing any chance of looking cute. I'm not really sure where I was going with this... you can tell I've taken a few days off and I'm not on top of my game. And with that, I'm out. Hopefully I get back into the groove soon and stop going off on random tangents! Hope everyone has a fantastic week!

Happy Humpday babes! Hope everyone is having a fantastic week so far! I've had a very busy past few weeks so I am looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend this weekend. My fingers are crossed that the weather will be nice and I can get some pool time in because after looking at these pictures from a few weeks ago I feel like Casper! I even had self tanner on and I still feel like I'm slightly blending in with the background on some of these. I know I shouldn't complain since I live in Florida and and probably tanner than most but it is rather funny to me when my nude shoes blend in with my legs ha! 

Ok, now onto the outfit! I have such a love/hate relationship with rompers. They look super cute, they're easy to throw on and look put together and they're great for a casual day adventure or a night out but my biggest issue is they make using the bathroom pretty uncomfortable. I've said this before but there's something incredibly awkward about basically getting completely naked to go pee when you're out in public. Nonetheless, I still can't say no to a cute romper so when I saw this one I knew I was just going to have to put up with the awkwardness of peeing in public and get it. Between the gingham print, the cute little cut out and it has pockets, this is the perfect romper for spring and summer. I wore this out for dinner and drinks at The Breakers in West Palm Beach (side note, if you're going to practically get naked in a public bathroom, The Breakers definitely have the bathroom to be in!) and it ended up getting a bit chilly so I threw an oversized boyfriend cardigan over the top and it was still super cute. Be prepared to see this on major repeat, especially as the days keep getting hotter and I keep getting too lazy to put together a cute outfit to go out in ;)

Happy Humpday babes! Hope everyone's November is off to a good start! I honestly can't believe it's already November. Since about June this year has really flown by for me and I am definitely not ready for the holidays! I also can't believe my 3 year blogiversary is right around the corner! 3 years in and I still find taking fashion pictures incredibly awkward... you'd think I'd be used to it by now!  Even though we are well into fall, we've still been getting up into the 80's on most days so I've been trying to incorporate fall into my wardrobe any way I can. 

Even though when you think of rompers you think of summer, I felt like the darker colors and floral pattern of this romper worked well for an 80 degree fall day. The flowy silhouette of the romper makes it extremely comfortable and I love the little cut out detail in the front.This romper has definitely been on heavy repeat with the warmer fall weather we've been having so don't be surprised if you see it more often!

Happy humpday loves! Thank goodness we are half way through the week already! Last week was such a mess with the hurricane coming through so I'm extremely happy this week is more normal even though Monday and Tuesday were both super busy trying to get caught up. I know we're supposed to be starting to get into fall fashion but last night I was watching WAGS: Miami (side note: those girls are so much drama! I thought the regular WAGS were a lot but man oh man...) which reminded me that I managed to get some shots in while I was in Miami that I hadn't shared yet... whoops!

If you follow me on Instagram you saw this outfit already; which happens to be the outfit I wore on my first and only "free" day while in Miami and it was the perfect outfit for being out exploring on a hot and humid Sunday. I love how lightweight and flowy this Lush top is and it was the perfect amount of casual chic for walking around South Beach. Since I was planning on doing some walking along the beach I paired it with some denim shorts and comfy sandals, although I have to say, some of the the things people wear to the beach in Miami cracks me up! It was almost impossible not to laugh at the girls attempting to walk through the sand in their heels/wedges, draped in jewelry with their hair and makeup done. After doing some exploring and people watching this was the perfect outfit to enjoy happy hour in!
